While Robert was having a good look at the house just to make sure everything was fine and the places that would require much security, Jessica was in the room with Rachel. After checking on everything he came back to Rachel's room and sat next to her, he looked at Jessica and nodded who got the signal that she was supposed to leave the room so she got up from her seat and whispered "I am off to bed then" and without waiting for her reaction he just left.

Robert was about to lie next to her when she suddenly started cooking herself up as if she was in pain at first the reaction was only seen on her face and then she actually groaned in pain "Aaahhhaa no, no, please sto-op sto-op it." she coiled into herself completely.

Robert began to panic as it all happened in a few seconds, he quickly jumped on the bed next to Rachel and pulled her close to his chest, gently shaking her to wake her up. Rachel woke up, she felt like she was pulled out of a spell, tears were streaming down her eyes and she was panting heavily totally covered in sweat. Robert hugged her into his chest until her breathing somehow normalised when finally Robert pulled back a little "I will bring some water."

He stood up to leave when he felt abandoned on his wrist then a soft voice slowly whispered "Please don't leave me alone."

He looked back, he was shocked and then a smile spread across his face realising that the woman who never showed her weakness even to Kevin trused him enough to show him her weakness. He realized that Rachel was connected to him deeply from the core of her heart but the surface of her heart was so scarred for her to realize her feelings. He just hugged her tightly deciding to give her as much time as she required when she spoke herself softly and scared "I had a dream that Kevin was torturing me the way he did but the worst part it, I could feel the pain and my body is actually hurting."

There was a silence for a long time when Rachel looked at his face to see his reaction, it had lost all it's colour and although he looked calm, she could feel there was something she was missing so she looked at him with pitiful eyes and asked "What is it?"

He was pulled out of his thoughts and he looked at her pitiful face, his heart clenched, he could not bring himself to tell her the truth so he just smiled at her "It will be fine, if you don't mind I can hug you to sleep and I won't take it the wrong way I promise." he added the last part of the sentence very earnestly to make her feel at ease.

She smiled at him and cuddled into his arms which he took as yes and lay next to her pulling her closer to his chest calming each nerve of her body and the rest of the night she slept peacefully.

In the morning Robert was up before Rachel and he knew Jessica also use from wake up early so he called her in the room. As she came she was the first one to speak "According to the plan, I changed everyone's memories last night and now just Rachel has to tell her parents about us."

Robert said "Good" but Jessica saw that he was worried ,there were lines on his forehead as he was in his deep thoughts and he was still hugging Rachel very tightly as if preventing her from something that was going to hurt her.

She placed a hand on his shoulder and whispered not to wake Rachel up "What is it?"

He was pulled out of his thoughts "Protective bubble"

He wanted to talk to Jessica about this but he didn't want Rachel to hear anything if she woke up in the middle of their conversation so he asked her to build a protective bubble, it was used to make private conversations which only the people in the bubble could hear and the people outside could not so Jessica took out her wand and built an invisible protective bubble around them and then she was about to ask again but Robert spoke first "I think Kevin was successful in making a connection with her brain, not a very strong one but enough to torture her."

Jessica stumbled in her place, her eyes widened in shock "WHAT!"

Robert closed his eyes for a few seconds and upon opening them he told her about Rachel's dream.

Jessica could not speak for a long time but she finally found the strength and spoke "What are we gonna do now?"

Robert took in a deep breath "I have no idea, I think he had been doing things a long time ago and he has already completed 2 weeks of his one month plan of turning her evil. One good thing is that as long as she is in my arms, he can't penetrate her mind."

Jessica looked and said determined "You know you can put an end to this."

He looked at her, his eyes throwing daggers in her direction saying in a killer tone "Don't ever think about it."

"But why, I know she will understand." Jessica still continued knowing that she had no chance of convincing him and she was right "Shut up and get lost, this is the end of the conversation."

She rolled her eyes and spoke "Alright, suit yourself" then she left the room leaving the frowning Robert behind.

Soon Rachel woke up after having the most relaxing and energetic sleep, she looked up and saw Robert frowning, she smiled and kissed his cheek "Good morning."

He looked at her and all the lines from his forehead vanished as if they were the dark clouds that just dissipated because the sun shone brightly on them. He smiled and then he raised his eyebrow "What was that for?"

She smiled back at him and instead of answering his questions, she spoke "Thank you for last night."

Robert smiled at her "It's okay, I will always be there for you."

She smiled at him and that was when Robert thought that he would have to hug her tightly sleep every night so he had to convince her to agree to that so he thought before he finally spoke "I had the best sleep last night, I wish I could sleep with you like this every night."

He cursed himself for saying that because it didn't even feel convincing even to him so how could he expect that she would be convinced but as always she shocked him with his answer "I wish the same because it was the best sleep I've ever had in my life too."
