Rachel begin "Where were you, what happened and how did you appear out of nowhere when I was in danger?" as she asked all those questions like an excited child trying to find out new things, her stomach growled, she was indeed starved for too long.

Jessica skilled and looked into her eyes "I promise I will answer all your questions but before that let me get something inside that growling monster." saying this she laughed and stood up.

Rachel was about to stand behind her when she spoke again "Stay here, you are too weak to move, I will bring the food."

Rachel would have fought with her in a normal situation when she was just sick and would have said 'No, I am not weak' but this time she agreed and stay put she actually felt weak and her whole body was in pain but Jessica didn't know about that yet because her injured area was still covered by the sweatshirt she wore. She decided not to tell her about anything that happened or she would be worried.

Jessica just went away and brought some food, she was so starved that she quickly engulfed the whole meal as a hungry lion feasts on a deer. She felt full with the delicious meal offered to her, after she was full, she looked at Jessica to get her answer and without her asking anything she began

"Rachel, I am a witch, not a very strong one but I have some powers. Back then when Kevin came and you two started being together, I didn't know he was a bad person until my brother told me so I confessed to you to divert you attention from him and preventing you from danger. My brother told me everything about him so I tried drinking use that method because I thought maybe it will work and when it didn't I decided to do something else but before I could I saw Kevin doing so much for you and going out of the to do everything to make you happy. I felt that my brother way lying to me, I knew he is the most powerful being on the earth so I guessed that he must have some evil intentions and want to have you so I decided to go away from all this. I thought that Kevin was a nice personand I could entrust you to him but now I feel it was the worst thing I did, I feel so guilty for leaving you alone. It's all my fault that you have to go through this." and tears flowed down her eyes

Rachel's eyes widened in shock, she hugged her best friend and as her body touched her, she pressed her lips to suppress the pain it caused, the burns were terrible so she took some time to let the pain subside and then she spoke "It's not your fault, I too felt he was nice because he was using a nice person's body and heart and I even fell in love with him so don't blame yourself. You were there when I needed you the most." she smiled at her pulling her back and then asked again as soon as Jessica calmed down.

"How am I so powerful and what is it that I can do that even I don't know about?"

Jessica thought for a moment about how to answer that question and then took a deep breath before she finally spoke "Sweetly, I can't tell you much about that because you are supposed to find that out when it's time so I will just say that with time you will be the most powerful person and bring happiness or destruction and depends on what powers take over your body within that time."

She nodded understanding just the jist of what she said and before she could ask her who her so powerful brother was an eagle landed on the window and then from the window it came to the floor and looked at Rachel keenly.

Jessica smiled "So, are you satisfied now."

Rachel was confused seeing her talk to such a dangerous bird but her confusion didn't last for long when the eagle turned into Robert, she let out the breath she had been holding when he replied with a smirk "Yeah, scratched him up real nice, he won't be able to move for 2 weeks at least but we can't let our guard down.

From the conversation, Rachel could make out that Robert had hurt Kevin up in his eagle form, her heart clenched again thinking about Kevin.

Robert then looked at her and asked "Are you alright."

She just nodded looking away because she knew she could not lie to this man because his aura was such that it pulled the truth out of a person's core and as she anticipated, he didn't believe her and said "Remove your clothes"

Rachel's eyes widened, she stared at him, he smirked and moved closer to her, holding her chin he spoke "I just want to make sure, if that bastard just you and moreover I have already seen everything so what is there to hide." he teased just to lighten up the mood and also because he wanted to be sure that she was fine. He knew she was hurting because of Kevin and he wanted to just push that pain out of her heart so that it would just fill with happiness and love again.

She just smiled at him and tried to divert the conversation "Thank you for saving me and being there." she said in an angelic voice with true gratitude in her eyes that it made his heart throb and his world froze, he sat there not moving as if he was hypnotized by those angelic voice and eyes.

Jessica deducted something was wrong, her eyes narrowed and she spoke "Brother don't be fooled by her voice, she is using her out of the earth beauty again to get out of the situation, I have been a victim of that before so don't get carried away, we need to see her injuries."

Before he could respond, Rachel snapped "Jess, don't you trust me I told you I am fine."

Jessica narrowed her eyes and said "Alright, now that it is about trust let me tell you about these kind of matters, I completely... " she placed her hand on Rachel's back and pressed it lightly but the pain was unbearable for Rachel, she flinched and Jessica completed her sentence "...don't trust you."

She didn't wait for her response and was desperate to see the injuries so she simply removed Rachel's sweatshirt, revealing her burned back and front. She gasped as her hand went to her mouth seeing her friend's body.

Rachel closed her eyes because she didn't want them to see this and she knew that this will cause even more trouble, she felt that the temperature in the room suddenly became very cold so she opened her eyes to look at what was going on and she saw Robert eyes had become completely dark and his anger was being reflected in them and even through his whole body. His body was trembling with anger as he looked at her body.

Rachel didn't know what would happen next so she was about to speak when Robert spoke facing Jessica, anger reflecting in his eyes that could shake anybody's soul "Treat her wounds, I will be back."

Jessica had fear in her eyes "Please don't, brother."

Robert left the room as if she didn't say anything, Jessica closed her eyes and let out a heavy sigh then she opened them and went to bring the medicine that could heal her quickly. It was one that had some of the magical powers and could be used as an ointment on these severe wounds too although they would take much longer to heal but would eventually heal.
