Charles was as shocked as she was "RACHEL" he pulled them inside and then spoke to Rachel "You are doing something so dangerous and you never told."

She replied timidly "You didn't tell either, dad."

"I know sweetie but you are my daughter and I won't ever allow you to do something so dangerous."

She made Charles sit, held his hand and sat on her knees just in front of him "Dad, you taught me how to fight for myself, you taught me how to be strong, how to help the ones who need your help, how to fight for others and now you are asking me to give up when it is time to help."

Charles held her chin up"I know whatever I taught you was for safety and here you are not safe."

"Dad please trust me, I have done some of the cases before."

Charles jumped up and made Rachel stand "Wait that means, the reason your mother was worried was true, you were actually kidnapped. How do you expect a father to put her daughter in danger."

Rachel was angry so she shouted "Enough Dad, David was the one who came to me thinking that I was capable and I want to serve my country, I want it to be crime free too and I am your daughter so I won't give up easy. You can't put your daughter's life in danger then don't see me as your daughter and just a detective." she calmed down and continued in a soft tone "Dad, you can't be selfish about your daughter, so many detectives are of my age."

Charles relaxed a little and hugged her daughter "I am so proud of you and you are right I can't be selfish."

He pulled her away and continued "Now I am your senior then and because you are not my daughter here, you will be scolded and shouted on for your mistakes. I am not your father here and let me warn you this is really a different person."

She nodded feeling satisfied "Dad I will too be a totally different person than your delicate daughter."

Charles nodded and then turned to Kevin and put a hand on his shoulder "Well before we get all professional I want to say that I didn't expect you to be of any good but you proved me wrong because only the most talented are selected here."

Kevin smiled quietly and soon the atmosphere in the room was professional when Charles's said so agents are you ready for the mission."

Both of them said firmly "Yes, Sir."

"I know you are good but everyone has a weakness, tell me yours and what is your solution correct that."

Kevin said first "Sir my weakness is defense so I compensate it with attack but I am working on the defense part too."

"Good and you." he turned to Rachel.

Charles said in a harsh tone "No that's not very wise, come up with another strategy, you have 30 min., you need to have something that won't get our plans exposed because of a stupid mistake and I am saying this because if your partner is busy doing something, what will you do then."

Rachel nodded "Sir can you give me an hour to figure out something."

"30 minutes, be quick we have to get started with the plan."

"Yes, Sir."

"Go now"

Without saying anything else both of them left.
