Rachel kept moving pacing outside the operation room worried if she will be fine as her tears kept rolling down like there was some defect which would not allow the tears to stop. Seeing her like this Kevin could not take it anymore, the urge inside him to hug Rachel and wait for her sister by her side kept increasing and he could not contain in his tears anymore. He ran out of the hospital and started crying, Rachel had seen his glimpse and ran behind him without him noticing and saw him crying, her heart melted and went to sit by her side which he did not notice because he was so busy crying and when he was done he got up to go and saw Rachel sitting by her side, he spoke in quivering voice "How long have you been here."

Kevin settled back down next to her and then said in a gloomy tone "Please, promise me you won't tell her I was here."

Rachel was confused "I don't know why you don't want to see her but she just wanted to see you and she must be expecting you here."

Kevin lowered his head and with wet eyes he looked at her "It's for her own good, please help me."

She had never seen Kevin beg for anything but he so desperately wanted her help, looking at her gloomy face and teary eyes she could not say no so she simply nodded with a heavy heart, she was so touched by this affection.

Both of them waited together for the doctor to come out while Rachel told him what had happened, Kevin scaned her up and down worried "Are you fine."

She nodded and he continued "Who could have attached you and why."

"I don't know, I have been trying to figure it out but I can't come up with anything."

He smiled cunningly which scared Rachel a bit thinking he was upto something "Alright." he simply replied and Rachel was even more worried at how could he agree so easily. She found it fishy but had to let go because they were here for something more important.

Sometime later a doctor came out with a smile and they both were relieved as he said "She is out of danger and will gain consciousness within 2 or 3 days."

She thanked the doctor and then Kevin told her that he was leaving so she sent him out and then went home herself to freshen up before returning. She promised herself to stay by her side until she was awake so she got a leave from school as the next 2 day were off so that was not much of a problem.
