Jacob reached his villa and quickly opened the door of Jamie's room. She was hiding in the blanket scared of Jacob and also because he had torn her clothes and she was almost naked. He pulled out his gun and placed it on Jamie's head, she asked in a scared tone "What are you doing?"

Before he could say anything all the police guns were pointing at him who had followed him there. Jamie start breathing heavily when Jacob spoke "Leave my house, I give you 5 minutes or I will kill this girl."

The head officer ordered everyone to leave and followed them out, they then called Charles and told him about the situation who was only a little distance away. Charles hurried to the villa but this time he went into the room alone and saw Jacob trying to force himself on Jamie. His eyes burned with anger, he picked up the lamp on the side table and hit his bare back. Jacob moved aside screaming with pain but Jamie's screams ringed in Charles ears aggravating his anger, he was going to hit Jacob with the broken lamp still in his hand when Jacob grabbed the knife from the fruit basket and scratched Jamie's arms. Jamie screamed louder in pain, Charles stopped his hands halfway saying "Be a man fight me, stop hitting her."

Jacob was totally out of his mind by this point, he laughed and scratched her neck. This time Charles's scream was louder than Jamie as he dropped the lamp "stop"

Jacob shouted in a very angry tone "Leave or I will scratch her all over."

Charles cried "I will leave, don't do anything to her."

Jamie was to weak to move right now as Charles turned to leave, Jacob pointed a gun at him to shoot. If he shot Charles at this point when he was already injured he won't surely die so she gathered all the strength that was left within her to get up from the bed and as the bullet was fired she ran and hugged Charles back, the bullet hit her. Charles turned back and immediately held Jamie in his arms. Jamie smiled at him widely before closing her eyes but he started crying immediately and this time he looked at Jacob with a murderous look but he had to save Jamie first so he ran out to his car and rushed to the hospital. Jacob escaped from the back door and reached the hospital to following Charles's car and the police followed his car.

Jamie was immediately taken to the operation room, she had been badly tortured by Jacob so her condition was not very good. Charles waited impatiently outside the room when Jacob appeared in front of him. This time Charles lost it completely and didn't remember where he was before beating Jacob ruthlessly. Jacob had already called his men who arrived in time to save his life or a minutes delay could have killed him. Jacob laughed even in his pitiful condition where he was almost killed "I like it, you are a tough man playing with you is fun but you can't defeat me."

Charles was angered and as he struggled out of his men's grip he lashed out "Are you insane, is this a game for you, she is a human being and how can you play with someone's life."

Jacob got to his feet with difficulty "I always get what I want and right now I want her so I will get her anyhow. Wait and Watch." saying this he left and took his man along with him.

Charles kicked the wall hitting his own foot he said to himself "I will protect my wife, no matter what."

Doctor came out and just by looking at him Charles was worried. Doctor said "We have operated but her condition was very bad so we can not say what will happen but we are shifting her to ICU and then we will observe."

Charles put on a strong face "Thank you, Doctor."

As the doctor left he fell to the ground and was completely expressionless for some time then he regained and reminded himself "She is your fighter Jamie Charles, she will be fine and if she sees you like this right now she will be angry with you so stop worrying, she will be fine." a gentle smile spread across his face on his on words as he waited more patiently this time.
