Jacob took her out saying that it was a surprise dinner so as they stepped out of the car he closed her eyes by his hands and took her inside.

Daisy had already brought James and Charles to the place. Almost all the guests were already there. James was worried about his friend if he could watch his wife being with someone else "Are you sure you can do that Charles."

"Yes I will do it."

Daisy got a call from Jacob to switch off all the lights of the hall and a life while later he entered with Jamie by her side. At the entrance he removed his hands from her eyes "Jamie darling just wait here I will be back in a moment." before Jamie could respond he rushed to the stage, the lights were back on and he was on his knee with a mike in his hand looking towards her "Jamie since the day I met you, I fell madly in love with you and I know that we are getting married but I felt that this was necessary so today I Jacob Black ask you in front of everyone WILL YOU MARRY ME JAMIE JEFFERSON." Jamie felt it similar but she was so overwhelmed to think about it and her cheeks turned red like a rose.

Charles felt like something pierced his heart when he saw Jamie like that but he controlled, Daisy took a glass of wine and went to her "Drink it, it will give you the courage."

She gulped the wine in one go and went to the stage, Jacob took out a ring and she accepted it then holding his hands she made him stand "Off course I will marry you, there was no need to do this."

He smiled and held her by her waist pulling her in for a deep kiss in front of everyone. Charles's heart felt like someone had hit him with stones or an ocean flooded inside him he could not tell but he was indeed hurt and could not see that any longer and went out to take a deep breath, James followed.

After a long while when they finally broke away from each other, there was a huge round of applause and cheering from the crowd. Jacob now gave attention to his guests "I welcome you all to this party and I hope you enjoy yourself fully. Have a nice evening everyone."

As he left the stage with his hand on Jamie's waist a slow music followed and a lot of couples started dancing. Jacob introduced Jamie to his close once.

Charles took a few deep breaths when James finally asked "Are you fine."

"James how would you feel if you saw someone kissing Daisy."

"I understand but you have to stay strong at least for her."

"I know but I still can't get used to this."

"Of course not and you don't have to because it is just a matter of time and she will be back."

"Hmm"

"Now listen to me, go inside and ask her for a dance as a forgiveness for the past according to Jacob's story and try to talk to her."

"You are right, I have to do it now."

He put on a smile and went inside, James felt bad for him but followed him inside. Daisy quietly watched them and proceeded her next step carefully. She went to James "Shall I have a dance with you gentleman."

A wide grin spread across his face listening to her and the way she bowed a little "Sure my lady."

Both of them went inside hand in hand and danced to the music. Jamie was closely dancing with Jacob, Charles could not see it but he gathered courage and went straight to them "Mr. Black can I borrow your fianceé for some time."

Jacob looked at Jamie and when she nodded he said "Sure"

He then left and strolled around for a bit talking to some people. Charles looked into her eyes with deep sense of love, she wanted to melt into his eyes too but everytime Jacob's words popped into her mind that he was not a nice person. Charles just wanted to be with her like this forever but he had to talk to her too, to remind her everything "Don't you remember this kind of party and proposal happening before."

"I feel like something of this sort happened but I can't recollect and I don't want to because at this moment I am too happy to do that."

"You should be and I am happy as long as you are happy."

"It's good to know that you are still worried about me."

"I always was and will be because I have only you in my heart. I love you Jamie, please come back."

She was almost going to melt away and say yes to him when Jacob appeared "I would like to have my fiancé back."

Charles stepped aside but Jamie could not stop herself from staring at him. While she was trying to recollect everything, she seemed to have hallucinations from the past of Charles proposal and her rejection to him, soon she started feeling dizzy and help Jacob's hand. He stopped holding her by her waist he said "Are you fine."

"I am suddenly feeling dizzy."

HR picked her up in his arms "I will take you back."

He asked Daisy to handle the rest of the party and took Jamie back home. He helped her change her clothes and finally Jamie told her about her hallucination while Jacob was pouring a glass of water for her. His face went pale but he calmly handled the situation "It is probably because your brain is thinking you should not have accepted his proposal in first place."

She found the explanation quite satisfying "Probably you are right but right now let's forget about him, do you wanna have some fun."

He was surprised hearing those words coming from her mouth but she wanted to apologize for ruining his surprise and bringing him back early. Before he could say anything he got a call from Daisy "Hurry, come back we have an emergency here."

"Tch" he hung up the phone and got up.

"What happened?" Jamie asked innocently.

"Wait for me, there is some problem at the party, I will solve it and come back then we can have fun all night."

She smiled seductively "I will be waiting."

"Don't do that, I won't be able to leave."

"Go and come back quickly."

"Yes ma'am." saying this he hurried out.
