Then they went out and got into the car. Jacob opened the door for Jamie and closed it after she sat inside with a smile then he moved towards the driver's side but before he sat into the car a message popped up in his phone, he was surprised because he had told his staff not to disturb him that day.He took out his phone to check if there was an emergency but it was a message from Charles 'If you want it this way then let's do it, I have fought for Jamie in a lot of hard and painful conditions and so did she, our love is true and we will be back together very soon I am warning you not to touch her. He let out a light laugh thinking 'As if she is allowing me to do.' then he texted let's see what you can do but now that she is mine, I can do anything I want to do with her.'

Charles was angered at this and kicked his table only to hurt his own leg letting out a howl, he decided to meet Jamie and tell her the truth and he will decide the rest of it later.

Jacob sat in the car as he was just provoked by Charles, he smiled at Jamie and bro driving he kissed her. She smiled back and asked him to hurry.

Daisy had been waiting for her best friend but she was not irritated by her behavior of being late today instead she waited quietly. As she was waiting a car stopped in front of her to scold her so that she appeared her usual self. Her jaw dropped seeing Charles standing in front of her "What are you doing here?"

"I have decided to tell her the truth."

"Are you mad, it can harm her."

"We can not tell until we try."

"Charles please no, don't do this."

"I have to give it a try."

Jamie saw them arguing as she walked towards her friend but the presence of the man with her made her feel familiar but she only spoke to Daisy with a smile "I see why you didn't call me, you must have been quite busy yourself."

Daisy took a moment to realize but before Charles could say anything she changed the topic "Don't try to get yourself off the hook, Why are you late."

Jamie gave an apologetic smile. Jacob felt uneasy seeing Charles around so he came forward closer to Jamie holding her by her waist "It was all my fault that I kept enjoyed the company of your friend for too long, don't blame her for being so beautiful.

Jamie blushed and this angered Charles even more, his hands rolled into fists and he was about to punch him in his face but Daisy saw him in time, panicking she stepped in front of him and then said to Jacob and Jamie "Forget it let's go or we will be late."

Both of them replied in a hmm and before going inside Jacob gave Charles a victory look.

Jacob and Jamie went ahead and Charles pulled Daisy back "What did you do, she thinks we are in a relationship, you better clear things out."

Daisy scolded him "It is all your mistake, who told you to suddenly appear in front of me without informing me, now deal with this, I do not have any way out for you, better think of something else."

Charles was taken aback by her reaction but she was right nothing could be done right now, they will have to wait for the right moment.

After this Daisy and Charles entered the mall

Jacob gave a serious look and Daisy's and Charles's heart beat fastened then Jacob spoke calmly holding Jamie in his arms.

"He was your boyfriend in college and you found him cheating on you." On this a picture of Charles cheating on her came into her mind,she started feeling dizzy but she still asked "then what happened." Charles spoke before Jacob "Everything was cleared out and we married but this time she could not think of anything and felt dizzier but Jacob added "but he used to torture you and you divorced, I helped you out and you agreed to marry me."

Daisy and Charles were dumbstruck but before they could protest, Jamie fainted, Charles caught her and giving Jacob a dirty look he rushed her to hospital.

She was back to her senses in an hour and doctor warned them not to tell her anything so abruptly and wait for some time because it was difficult for her to process anything as the medicine she had had was a dangerous one.As she woke up Jacob rushed inside, Charles panicked and ran inside as well, Jamie panicked "What are you doing here after doing so much to me." she actually believed what Jacob said. Jacob controlled his smile and moved to her side holding her in her arms he spoke "he apologized sincerely to you and you invited him to our wedding, don't worry I will always be there by your side now."

Jacob had won her trust so she hugged him tightly and he gave a victory look to Charles who could not see Jamie hugging him so he rushed out towards Daisy and his tears which he had controlled for too long rolled out, he dashed towards his car. Daisy called James and asked him to come over to his house because he was completely devastated. After that she ran behind Charles and rushed her car behind his to prevent him from doing anything rash.

Jacob carried Jamie in his arms towards the car and took her home finally letting his guard down because he thought he had won her but the love of Charles and Jamie had always found a way and Daisy was sure it would this time too.
