《Ascension of the Nephilim 》Chapter 149: An Abomination for the Eyes

It was just too shocking for the Blood Calamity.
The dark and muscular man, the fair and tanned, and the blonde and handsome man all continued to make hard dance moves.
"This is... his deepest desires? No wonder my charm didn't work on him! That's his secret! He was born this way!" It all started to make sense for the Blood Calamity.
The Blood Calamity wondered how Kyros could resist such lustful calls. She knew her power was something that would breach age and race. Even the gods and fallen would be susceptible to her power!
And yet, after facing the fullness of her power, Kyros was able to shrug it off in just a manner of seconds immediately. It was as if her power was just casually negated.
And so, one of her soul incarnations gave up its form to be a parasite and constantly attack Kyros, but it took a while for her powers to seep into the soul and peer into his memories finally.
"Is this why it was easy for him to disregard my powers? Was I showing him the wrong thing? Although my powers ought to be able to move even those who prefer other genders, it wasn't enough to arouse him since he has a powerful soul resistance!" The Blood Calamity came to her conclusion.
"Then I guess I have to change my form..." The Blood Calamity turned to the hulking macho men before her.
"Tight-fitting clothes that reveal an oily skin... Why is their skin so oily anyway? Hmm... Yes. Bulging pants. Interesting. Oh my... That's quite... majestic." The Blood Calamity somehow grew curious and enticed at the vision.
"No! I must focus! I can play around and make more minions following these designs later! It seems that his blood will not only be the gif that I can get from this Nephilim! I must concentrate and prepare the illusions and assault him when his guard is down!" The Blood Calamity finally decided.
The power of her soul, which was infecting Kyros, continued to link on this memory to make her other avatars produce the scene.
The Blood Calamity had a total of seven avatars that she crafted and guarded her main body. The weakest one was the one that assaulted Kyros. This avatar had used a portion of her powers to transform and cultivate that small drop of blood in the Dark Fanged Tiger and turned it into its monstrous chimera form.

And now, two more powerful avatars approached. Although this would cost her more of her remaining Blood avatars, she wanted to make sure that Kyros would succumb to the terrifying power of her lust. And so she sent two. She was confident that by sacrificing the remaining energy in the Blood Avatar that became the Dream Parasite, this Nephilim of unique taste would succumb to her power.
Calaminus continued to release the vision from the memories of his other incarnations who innocently loved this group, not knowing who the target market of this group was.
"I'm curious what would happen..." Calaminus mused.
"Would Kyros get angry? I wonder how he would feel after getting harassed by several burly men... Oh well... I haven't seen him really angry." Calaminus could see how the soul of the Blood Calamity was taking notes of this scene.
Kyros remained guarded throughout the process. Finally, when the Blood Calamity had infiltrated his soul as his Soul Console stopped protecting him, he left it all to Calaminus. At the same time, he continued to watch the surroundings with cautious eyes.
He knew that the attack of the Blood Calamity could begin anytime soon, and he readied his attack.
"Hyperion's Code should do it. Cut mixed with a little of Dark and Blood Devour." Kyros calculated.
When Hyperion bestowed to him the small drop of his knowledge in the sword, Kyros had already learned and understood the same concept of True Cut that his father, uncle, and grandfather were exploring. As a Nephilim, he even managed to understand far more as his own Divinities worked hand-in-hand with this power.
The Fanged Fallen was a Code with a very powerful devouring ability. He was getting ready to make this combined attack in order to weaken and absorb the powers of the Blood Calamity.
"If Calaminus showed the Blood Calamity of those vision of the beings that existed through time and space, the Blood Calamity will lure me with a vision where my identity, being, and worth would be revealed. Because Calaminus showed that wild and berserked memory of mine, the Blood Calamity will think that there is very little lust in me in the first place and would use other means of temptation to temp me and lower my guard." Kyros thought.
And then he felt the presence of several powerful energies approached.
Kyros could feel how his Path of Combat was becoming warier and warier. But unlike his previous battles, his Path of Combat was somewhat limited in granting Kyros an understanding of how to fight.

"It seems in a fight against other Fate Challengers, the one with the stronger Path of Combat will somehow grasp the flow of the battle better." Kyros clenched on his sword. His vision still appeared distorted, and he knew that the vision would start anytime soon.
And it finally began.
The entire appearance of the battlegrounds changed again. What appeared before Kyros was now a platoon of hulking, muscular, and oiled-up men.
"Hey, pretty boy." One of the burly man winked.
"Hey, Macho Nephilim. Why are you so serious?" Another man asked.
"You look so frail. Come here. I'll teach you the proper way of doing squats."
The strange calls of these large men shocked Kyros so much that he felt as if his brain froze for a split second.
And then the realization of what had happened dawned on him.
"Calaminus..." Kyros gritted his teeth as he waited for the large men to approach slowly.
He had no choice. Kyros had to show a face of delight and amazement as the group of men approached.
Kyros also unconsciously dropped his sword as if the sight of everything he saw was amazing.
The Blood Calamity saw Kyros's actions and became more confident.
Her two avatars slowly approached. They dared not make any sudden movements but concentrated on showing him the vision.
Her powers weren't just creating an illusion. The Dream Parasite had been inflicting Kyros with a curse that made his lustful desires skyrocket to the point that it would have driven a normal human being mad.
But upon seeing the sight of this man, Kyros was in no way aroused by what he saw.
"Nope. This is crazy. I'm going to kill Calaminus. My eyes hurt. This scene is an abomination to the eyes. Wha did Calaminus show her? Why am I watching this?! Why did I trust that insane Time God? I'm going to kill him! I have never felt so disgusted in my entire life." Kyros cursed. He readied his haste spell, quickly retrieved the dropped sword with his inventory, and slowly took several steps forward.
But he took the first step. The disgusting calls of this man turned more and more horrifying.
"Sit on my lap, little boy."
"Hey, Nephilim. I have the looks of the gods and the sword of the Fallen. If you know what I mean."
It was too much. Kyros stopped and paused as he made his first step and had a very pained expression.
The Blood Calamity saw it and frowned.
"He still has the will to fight back? His Soul resistance is stronger than I thought!" The Blood Calamity sought out the memories once more.
The burly men were working out with intense training as sweat covered them. They continued to sing the same strange song expounding the beautiful delights of being a macho man.
"I've never had m avatars do something like these even during the eons of old. It's weird. But I'll allow it..." Since she had no choice, all she could do was make these men do the same thing.
The vision slowly changed and Kyros was now even more horrified.
There was strange equipment that Kyros could see. He could tell that these were the 'gym equipments' that Calaminus talked about in one of his incarnations world. The muscular men were using that and were singing the same tune that Calaminus showed the Blood Calamity.
Kyros realized what had happened and that his disgust made the Blood Calamity assume that he was still able to resist her powers.
Kyros did the unnatural thing and gave a smile of incredible delight as if what was in front of him was his heaven.

Disregarding the notifications, Kyros took a few more steps.
The more disgusted he felt, the more anger in his heart grew.
As he approached the many muscular men who began to abandon their respective gym equipment and gave Kyros looks that could only be described as 'Ricardo'.
The anger in Kyros's heart erupted and with quick retrieval of the sword occurred and almost instantly, the sword was in Kyros's hands.
[Haste] was activated, and Kyros was able to move way past done his bodily limits.
The power of True Cut appeared as well as a great hunger that devoured Dark and Blood.
The Blood Calamity felt a great danger from those swords. But Kyros was already too close to her avatars and was still harnessing their power for the vision.
The speed of Kyros was also too fast for them to react.
"[Devouring Cut]!" Kyros shouted as he slashed in a wide circular motion.

Disclaimer: I'm not continuing this story. Check out Azarinth Healer, it's a more current story where I worked on a lot of things I found wrong with this one. Main character is somewhat similar as well so if you like Eleonora, you'll probably like Ilea. I still invested a ton of time writing this so check it out if you feel like it. There's gonna be 20 Chapters 39k words total. Hey everyone. This is a story I've started writing like a year ago and thought why not post it now. This story is about fighting and magic in a pretty standard fantasy world. The story follows Eleonora through her daily life in Duneswatch and on her way to become an adventurer. No secrets here, it's pretty generic. Should be decently paced so just give it a shot if you want to. I'm not gonna sell it to you in this quick summary. The range of writing on RR is so wide we both know you just have to give it a chapter...or a paragraph depending on how unique the grammar is. Please do criticize harshly. I'm definitely no writer but everybody can improve with pointers in the right direction. Don't expect regular updates.

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.

Another world
For some, this old story would always be altered, but the outcome was always the same. 'The Evening Celebration.' Some blame humanity for provoking them, while others accuse monsters from another realm, and a few believed it was all merely the devil's fault. There is now a killer in the city. Attacking all the young ladies, pulling something from within them, and abandoning them on the doorsteps of their loved ones. Exactly similar to the old story. Will this issue ever be resolved, or will it be the start of something new? Ignoring the matter is also an option. Continuing with their everyday routine is generally a wise decision. That's just for the time being, of course. Till the plot leads them to someone they should have never encountered.

The Last Death Mage
Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. (For example, in the prologue that gave a hint at what happened to the MC, will be enhanced so that the gore invokes more descriptive/complete mental pictures, though it may wait.) ~Tyroth Gideon
