The Markash monster did not hesitate and continues to attack. *GWOOSH* ice flakes particles arise as the Markash monster smashed its two hands on the ice floor. But because of the ice floor being colder than before, the Markash monster could not inflict too much damage on the ice floor.

The colder the ice floor is, the thicker the ice can be, and because of Li Ye focus as he sees that Wen Xin goes after the Markash monster.

He made it much thicker for Wen Xin Support, "tch~" Wen Xin raised his hand as to clear the ice fog that was in front of him. "A silhouette?!" Wen Xin exclaimed and as he jolted left and right, trying to delay the attack of the Markash monster.

But then the Markash monster stomped on the ice floor and the ice fog that was engulfing the area dissipates. And Wen Xin saw two Markash Monsters in front of him.

Li Ye immediately saw the appearance of the two Markash monsters. ``What the heck?! how did the other Markash monster suddenly appeared there!`` Li Ye thoughts as he clenched his fist.

He tried to focus on his user abilities and because there are other emotions running wild in his mind; he bit his lip to regain his focus. "Tch~ that hurts" Li Ye yelped after that he raised his two hands and whispered "Defend!"

Upon saying that the ice floor cracks and two ice walls appeared in front of Wen Xin, Wen Xin retreats a few meters away from the Markash monster position as he saw the walls suddenly appeared from the ice floor.

The two Markash monsters joined forces and smash the two ice walls that flashed in front of them. It did not easily destroy the ice wall with only a few punches that were thrown at it. So the Markash monster raised its left hand near its mouth and blew air that was mixed with a dark essence spirit. And with that, the Markash monster's left fist gave out a glow and engulfed in an ancient engraving which gave the Markash monster a buff as it punched through the thick ice wall..

[Control office above the field of battle]

"A Markash monster, huh… control officer," Jin exclaimed as he entered the control room that was operating on the Field of battle.

"A Markash monster has a history from all the old candidates in serving N.D.A.M. Before all of this, came there were the towers it was the first to come into appearance before the portal rifts. It had given us a sign, but the world government ignored it. And then, from those towers that first appeared, the monsters started coming out from those enormous doors. The military push them back, but it had cost a lot of lives."

He paused as he gulped, as he remembered the bloodiest past that he has.

"As I was saying, you were not yet born when the towers existed and because of that, you still suffered, but you did not suffer the pain we had back then. And with the monsters' appearance, the world government ordered the full building of walls for each city. But not all cities could provide walls for their defense and so they were the victims of the 2nd wave of monsters were portal rifts appeared."

The control officer felt a pinch in his heart, and when he remembered that day, his tears fell from his eyes, dripping through his cheek. He turned around, looking at Jin, and then he was clasping his hands.

Jin nodded, "We failed to follow what the signs have already been telling us, and it cost the lives of many people," after Jin said as he bit his lip as he remembered how his mother died in front of him. His heart was aching as he felt like its broken into pieces and grinned to ashes.

Within his thoughts that he never got over it quickly. Even these past months the pain and the ache in his heart because of the lost of his mother.

The control officer turns around and then wipes his tears that were flowing down his cheeks. "I am sorry I just remembered my brothers who fought the monsters because they want to defend the people who can't defend themselves to those monsters who have destroyed a lot of families, lovers and friendships."

Jin did not reply and rather turns around as he felt the loss of his mother that he has been keeping for months. It had always hunted him how his mother died in front of him.

``If only I was strong that time… If I only have the basic grasp of my skills. She would not have died in front of me`` Jin thoughts as he grabs the doorknob and twisting it to open the door. Jin walks out of the control room.

[Inside the Field of battle]

Qin Shanyuan blocks an incoming claw attack from a ghoul as it shrieks at her. "Damn, it's irritating when you are shouting at my ear, you damn ghoul!" she then thrust her sword at the mouth of the ghoul it then pierces through the ghoul's nape at the back.

The ghoul stopped shrieking, but she's not yet finished, so she pulled her sword and then swings her sword to the right where she easily decapitated the ghoul.

The ghoul body dropped on the ground as its green oozing substances gushed out from its mouth. Qin Shanyuan looked around and he still sees a lot of monsters, so she ordered Zhong Zian, who was at the rear of her position.

"Zhong use you to deceive and then oppress the remaining ghouls so we can focus and help Wen Xin focus our attack on the two Markash monsters.

Cai Dinxiang turned his view back on the battle and he saw that the Markash monster that they were about to fight was with the other Markash monster that was currently in battle with the ice wall that Li Ye have created.

Cai Dinxiang once again looked at Dai Lanfen and said, "We are needing your puppets to join in the fight to control those trees"

After Cai Dinxiang said that Dai Lanfen nodded and she created 4 more lancer metallic puppets from the materials of the dome building. Cai Dinxiang run towards Wen Xin, who was at the center and was about to retreat into formation as he already saw the ice wall that Li Ye have created.

Meanwhile, at the rear center that was cut off because of the remaining ghouls, Li Xiaosheng grip his sword once again and swing it, killing 2 ghouls.

"Well, that's what we call deadly power swing that I can use. These ghouls dont know anything!" he shouted as he felt a fear of fighting and failing took him over so he needs to bounce back.

Zhong Zian looked at Li Xiaosheng and he smiled ``Well I guess moron gets back his mind once again. Well, it's my time to shine and eliminate all the remaining ghouls`` Zhong Zian thoughts as he whispered "Death Terror" and his damage output increased while his eyes change into a dark void eyes where his retina has a blazing red.

Following to the first buff that he applied to himself, he then whispered once more "Midnight Flash" and after that his agility increased in good amount. After his two buffs activated, he then whispered "Deceive" and two clones materialize behind him and then he ordered his clones using his thoughts.

After giving out the orders, the two clones that were behind goes to their respective places. The clone 1 leaps forward, slashing the ghoul at its body. The dagger that the clone 1 wielding was the same weapon that Zhong Zian is wielding, but it only does half of the damage.

That is why the clones need to be used multiple times to gain the experience that it needs so that the clone could attain the damage half of the main.

Meanwhile clone 2 slides at the ice floor and then slashed both things of the ghoul and because of that the ghoul knelt on the ice floor and because the ice floor was too cold, the ice was slowly engulfing the legs of the ghouls and the clone 2 stood up and turns around and easily cuts off the head of the ghoul.

After decapitating the ghoul, he looked at the other one who was shrieking, and after the shriek that the ghoul created it charged towards the clone 2. But the clone 2 could twist its body and able to dodge the attack charge of the ghoul.

The clone 2 smiled as he saw how the ghoul failed to attack him. So in reciprocation of the attack of the ghoul clone to retaliate by dashing towards the ghoul. And because the ghoul was eager to kill the clone 2 it to charge towards the clone 2, who was increasing its speed. But the ghoul did not know that clone 2 will once again slide itself to the ice floor.

When the clone 2 was nearing the clash with the ghoul, clone 2 slides itself to the ice floor and slashes both of the feet of the ghoul and then the ghoul dropped on the ground trying to get up but the ice floor was too cold and the ice was slowly engulfing the ghoul. 

When clone 2 turns around, he saw the ghoul frozen. The clone 2 walked and approached the ghoul that was frozen and kicks the head of the ghoul. The head of the ghoul rolls on the ice floor.

Clone 1 finishes the two ghouls that were assigned to him as he turned around. The clone 1 saw Qin Shanyuan sliced the last ghoul and finishing the task.
