The sound of the bullet being fired was like a blaster but it's more compact power than being fired from the barrel. 

And upon the impact of the bullets on the body of the Naga Slaughterer it made holes that made the Naga Slaughterer unable to move.

After that Fang Shirong charged from the back once again and slash its head in a reverse slice of his dagger and as he whispered "Ghost dagger" which made it easy to cut through the flesh of the Naga Slaughterer.

Fang Shirong looked at the dead body of the support unit. "I was not expecting you to die this early brother"

he whispered and as he tries to contact some forces that were waiting at the gates to recover the fallen body of the support unit personnel. Fang Shirong Han Zian and the wounded Assassin was the first one to enter the gates after the first wave of monsters were annihilated and stopped form attacking the gates. 

After that Qiao Jiao and her squad of swordsmen were all covered with a green substance. Jin was looking at them as they entered the outpost. They all looked exhausted because of the fight. That is why Jin said while standing "Alright you may go to take a 30-minute break and return here." 

After jin said that all of them replied "Yes, Sir" and so some of them take rest into their quarters and some were getting treated at the infirmary. Jin was looking at the sunset at the horizon as he looked at the destroyed buildings and homes that were once stood in the region.

"Once a happy place was take away by a single disaster that ruptured the happiness of every living being on this planet," He said as he grips the handle of the FXR-Raven.

Qi Meili was about to approach Jin that was looking from afar. But she did doubt herself not to disturb the Squad leader's resting time. So she backs from approaching Jin and rather go back and check Fang Shirong that has been sad because of the loss of one of his subordinates because of the fail strategies he has come up with. 

``I did not mean to kill that boy,`` Fang SHirong thoughts as he punched the wall of the shower room. And a soft flashback of what happened earlier. The exact moment where the sheer strength of the Naga slaughterer overpowered the assassin that was with him and was easily killed by the Naga Slaughterer. 

Fang Shirong grits his teeth as he felt the pain inside him. Once again he punched the wall of the shower room and at the same time, the warm water flows through his body. And then he heard a soft voice that was calling him from the back. "Fang Shirong?" Qi Meili's soft voice was calling out for him. 

And so he felt a bit calm as he heard Qi Meili's soft voice. "Yea?" Fang Shirong replied as he continues back at cleaning his body. And so Qi Meili once again asked Fang Shirong "Are you alright? Do you want a buddy that will be beside you?"

Fang Shirong wants to say yes. But he was a bit backed and lose confidence in asking for her help. But then a sudden surge of motivation coming from nowhere Fang Shirong then said "Yes… would you mind staying with me for a while I want someone to talk to" 

Qi Meili smiled and replied with "Sure, I would be glad to stay by your side… I will be waiting outside" Qi Meili turns left where the exit of the shower room is. And Fang Shirong replied with "Alright, Thanks a lot Qi Meili" After that Fang SHirong finished showering and quickly meet Qi Meili outside of the shower room.

"Hey!" Fang Shirong opening words, as he looked at Qi Meili. Qi Meili's gentle soft smile and dazzling eyes were the ones that Fang Shirong noticed when he said those words earlier. Qi Meili replied "Oh hey! Shall we?" Qi Meili was the first one to approach Fang Shirong so she was taking the conversation on her lead. 

"So, tell me about how you feel," Qi Meili said as her hands were both at the back. Fang Shirong looked at her and said "Well, to be honest, I am a bit decimated by what happened I did not expect something like that to happen… that was the attack that I have not predicted" And after Fang Shirong said the last word a tear falls from his eyes down to the ground.

"You already know that, especially in our line of duty. we must accept... what happened and we must not carry on with that burden. because it only hinders us in the future. and you that I cannot stand it. If I... lose you, You know."

Fang Shirong was a bit confused when she said that and he quickly looked at her and their eyes interlocked. But then Qiao Jiao was already finding them because there was an emergency briefing that was to be hosted by the Squad leader. Qiao jiao shouted at the two as they were looking at each other eyes.

"Hey! You two! I have been looking all over the facility and here you are two flirting!" Both Fang Shirong and Qi Meili were stunned to see Qiao Jiao. "The Squad leader want some debriefing on what happened and that is why I am finding you two" 

Qi Meili quickly looked at Fang Shirong and said "Shall we get going then?" Fang Shirong replied with a nod and a smile. And now both of them have the feeling of stress being relieved from that problem. All three of them entered the quarters of the squire squad room. And all three of them saw the other support unit as well. 

"Alright, shall we start as it looks like everyone is here" Jin exclaimed as he looked at them and then looked at the board "I am here to give you a sample of why we are here the schedule for tomorrow will be this" Jin points at the board, after that he looked back at them

"Due to certain circumstances we are going to be safeguarding the walls due to the relevant attacks of monsters And thus there will be more explanation about inbound and outbound orders? Well, outbound orders are coming from the other Safe Zones mission that wants to enter the region. Meanwhile, Inbound missions are coming from the HCT" 

After Jin discussed the next 2 days of safeguarding the outpost he then dismissed all of the personnel and but due to the schedule Qi Meili and Jin was the first one to be deployed at the walls to patrol. Jin was leaning at the wall as he looked at the dark but luckily the outpost has given them night vision glasses which made them able to clearly see through the dark.

There were no longer animals in the region because of the toxic environment for animals. There are only the ruins of buildings and the flora that was slowly recovering the once filled with people. And the gentle breeze of the cold wind that was blowing against Jin as he looked and stand in the middle. He then turned right where he saw Qi Meili standing there while she was holding her bow. 

"Squad leader," Qi Meili said as she turned left where she was looking at Jin who was leaning at the wall. Jin replied with her call with a look and said "Yeah?" Jin then walked towards her and stand beside her. Qi Meili looked at JIn and said "I helped Fang Shirong get a bit better you know" 

Jin turns around and said "Well, that is a job for all of us to make him feel that he has the family to lean on. You don't need to tell me that. I know you have the soft heart for that kind of approach Qi Meili" And Jin goes back where he was leaning and continues observing.

Qi Meili pouts she thought that Jin will give him a bit of praise for what she did but she also did not expect what Jin said to her. ``Family`` Qi Meili sighed as the cold breeze blow against her. And so their shift was done and Qi Meili saw Fang Shirong and Han Zian opening the door. 

Jin was the first one to leave the place as his stomach was not feeling well. Fang Shirong was the first one to walked and approached Qi Meili and smiled. Meanwhile, Han Zian looked at the two and said

"Oi, we are in a patrol fling are not allowed or Ill send my angel to get you two… I wish that I am with Qiao Jiao" Han Zian sighed as he felt that he and Qiao Jiao were not talking a bit.

And then an explosion erupted from the northeast of them. The explosion was not that damaging to the walls but it was loud and they can see the fiery flames that raised through the sky and followed by the black and white smoke. And so the alarm and siren sounded. Han Zian looked at the two and then said "We are having a night raid and I don't think this night raid will end soon"
