"Where is that lous-" Tan Shan looked at Jin who was with one of the famous users in the whole facility one of the letter squad of the user corp. Tan Shan was stunned and did not know what to do. He stood there like Jin was taking the spotlight once again.
Jin opened the door for Qinge Yu and upon opening the door the celebration was already started, there are some HIGH COM and some big stars from the named squads and letter squad.
Jin was the only Squire Squad officer that was inside the hall. "Right this is the first time that I have been in this place," Jin whispered to Qinge Yu, because when they enter all of the eyes were turned to them as if the spotlight was directed at them.
"So, who is that guy an officer or a butler?" one of the control officers that were invited was gossiping about Jin's status. Jin felt the preying eyes, the Aura of each officer in the room was different.
``Even in the military hierarchy is the source of power and everything. What a place I have run into`` Jin looked straight ahead and he just noticed that Qinge Yu was heading straight to the Deputy commanding officer of the Player Corp.
"What are we doing why are we heading towards the Deputy commanding officer?" Qinge Yu looked at Jin who was like hiding his real strength. "Well, I am going to introduce you to the Deputy commanding officer." Qinge Yu smiled as she looked at Jin.
"What are you talking about? The Deputy already know me" Jin said as they were close enough to the Deputy commanding officer. "We need to retreat Qinge Yu what are you doing" Jin was whispering and at the same, he is also panicking about what he will say to the Deputy. But soon they were recognized by the Deputy Commanding officer.
"Oh, is this the Squire Squad leader, that has successfully returned the bodies of the fallen Angels," The Deputy commanding officer said quietly as if only a few officers know of this, "Ma'am I am glad to meet you" Jin saluted the Deputy Commanding officer as he stood straight
"The last time we have met, was only a mission briefing am I right?" the Deputy commanding officer said as she looked at Jin who was standing in front of her. "Yes, Ma'am. That is the last time we had a small talk regarding a certain deployment, and I have forgotten that sadly." Jin smiled feeling the awkwardness between him and the Deputy commanding officer.

"I see, by the way where is Senior Specialist first Class Tan Shan he was supposed to be with you because there will be an announcement for a certain award for your distinguish service as a squire squad to save a squad of fallen angel bodies."
The Deputy Commanding officer looked at Jin and also trying to a few glimpses if Tan Shan was near. "Yes, Ma'am he was with me when we enter the building sadly the last time I see him was at the door,"
Jin replied and then the Deputy commanding officer lean and talk to one of her guards to find and locate Tan Shan.
Tan Shan arrived and he saw Jin with Qinge Yu, but he focused on the Deputy Commanding officer. "Ma'am?" He said as he looked at the Deputy Commanding officer. "Well, Letter Squad Leader we should start the ceremony of awarding the medals. Shall we?" Tan Shan nodded and steps aside and the Deputy Commanding officer walked past Tan Shan and head to the stage.
With her authoritative aura, she looked at her audience. Multiple officers and staff of the headquarters. "Welcome, to the awarding" Her soft tone of voice made it appealing to the audience as they listen to her. "We are here due to the joint task force that will be carried out for the next operation of the 7th Player corp and the 56th User corp. And also to add to that there will be an awarding ceremony for Specialist first Class Ru Jin of the 29th Squire Squad."
And after the Deputy Commanding officer said that the murmurs started inside the hall. "Now, Shall we begin with the awarding ceremony. May I call upon the stage the Instructor for the Squad leader course Senior Specialist First Class Tan Shan of the group Squad F of the letter Squads."
Tan Shan walked towards the stage and straight to the podium, the Deputy Commanding officer steps aside as Tan Shan was to speak. "Now, Ladies and Gentlemen may I present the award of Gallantry and dedication for succeeding such tasks that were given to his Squire Squad and to his leadership. We award the medal of Seventh Seal to Specialist First Class Ru Jin"
And when Tan Shan said that Qinge Yu looked at Jin and whispered "You have really done well" After that she lets go of the arms that were wrapped around Jin's left arm. Jin smiled as a reply to her and walked straight to the stage.

An officer from the other side of the stage walked towards Tan Shan and handed the black box that contains the seventh seal to be put on the sleeve of the uniform of the officer being awarded. Jin stood in front of Jin and whispered "The friendship that was only made because it was my real intention. Not a fake one, this the end of the friendship we once had." Tan Shan puts on the Seventh Seal. Jin was stunned by what Tan Shan has said.
After the ceremony ended Jin was dismissed and Qinge Yu and Tan Shan were the ones that were left behind inside the hall. After that Jin dressed back to the old style he was wearing earlier. He was supposed to go to the restaurant that was the squad members supposed to meet up.
But rather he stayed at the barracks and check on the files for any upcoming mission to prepare. After 2 hours of checking some files, a knock at the door was echoing inside the room. Jin stood up and walked towards the door upon opening it was Qinge Yu with a bottle of vodka smiling, "Shall we talk for a while if you don't mind?" Her earlier dress was a fashioned dress but right now he was wearing a black t-shirt and camo pants.
"Sure, come in" Jin opened the door fully to let her in. "That was quite a medal you have there hope it won't make the other Squad leaders a bit jealous of your recognitions." Her tone of voice was soft as if it was giving a vibe of calmness for Jin.
"Well, that kind of jealousy will only make them weaker, to be honest."
Jin walked towards the table and grab two small shot glass that was hidden at the officer table cabinet. "Ho ho ho, you really are prepared for these such events?" Jin smiled as Qinge Yu said that.
"Well, it was supposed for some drinks when squad members felt a bit sad and need some composure that is why there are shot glasses hidden here so be quiet this is only known only to our squad and not from others." Jin smiled as he placed the shot glass on the table. After that Qinge Yu pours a shot on the glasses and hands the other one to Jin.
"So, tell me how does it feel to work in a team?" Qinge Yu straight-up drinks her shot and sighs, her face turns a bit red when she gulps the alcohol down her throat. "Well, to be honest working with a team at first was hard. The first squire squads I have been were either unorganized or they are just head busters" Jin followed drinks the shot glass after saying his reply.
"Where did you buy this vodka?" Jin asked as he looked at Qinge Yu sparkling eyes, ``When did I last drink alcohol I think it was the time were our last training mission that was a few weeks ago damn this vodka is one heck of a punch`` Jin put the shot glass on the table.
"Well, that vodka was supposed to be a gift to someone at the HIGH COM but I rather not gift it because it has lost its value." She looked at Jin, ``why is this guy not so aggressive is he really like this?`` Jin turned his view towards the officer's table. "Want to grab something to eat while we drink this and continue our talk? I have some nuts at the last cabinet of the officer's table." Jin recommended as he was about to leave.
Qinge Yu grab his hand and pulls him towards her body, "Why, not I eat you here as I drink the vodka?" her soft tone of voice was like a seductive snake whispering to his ears. "You know that was only 1 shot of vodka…" Jin felt a bit uneasy, ``Is this some kind of test that the other officers are pulling I will take advantage of a woman in front of me.``
"Hush now, this was a long time infatuation that I have from the likes of you Ru Jin" Her voice only makes Jin felt tense from his body. "You are drunk…" And Jin grabs her neck as if he was choking her, "I told you this will be really different alright"

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
