Jin was standing looking at the view of the destroyed place. He leaned on one of the destroyed walls and soon sat on the ground and closes his eyes. ``Finally, I can set myself at rest for the time being. Today has been too gruesome, too scary to exciting. And there are many things to be discovered just now.`` Jin looked at the ground.
After a while, Qi Meili walked towards Jin and said "Sir, I have contacted EYES and he is sending RUNNERS to our location. Is there anything you still want me to work with?" Qi Meili looked at Jin who was seating on the ground relaxing. "Well, as of now there is none you can take rest for a while until the RUNNER are here."
Qi Meili nodded and turns around and left Jin having his lone time. After 2 hours the RUNNERS have arrived. The support unit officer hops down from the Armored Personnel Carrier. The support unit officer approached Jin and then saluted Jin. "Right, so you are the support unit that EYEs have sent well, we need body bags. For the bodies."
The support unit officer turns around and said "Alright get me the body bags, and let's finish this. So that there will be no other casualties."
The support unit was old candidates for Squire Squads. But sadly they did not make it. That is why they are not under the support unit where they are the last ones to enter the battlefield or they are the ones who were to be sent out for support purposes. After the bodies were put into the body bags. Jin and the others were sitting inside the Armored Personnel Carrier.
"We will be having our debriefing when we get back at the base. We will re-evaluate what happened and how did we succeed for the field report that will be needed by the Headquarters. Furthermore, I still want you guys to have a good rest before we do a debrief. Am I understood?" Jin said with an authoritative voice.
All of them were looking at Jin when he was giving those orders and they replied "Aye, Sir".
3 hours have passed and they all reached the Safe Zone Delta safely. But as they were returning back, they also have noticed the increase of refugees that were trying to get inside the Safe Zone Delta Walls for their safety.
And when they enter inside the walls they saw a different perspective. There are some demonstrations from the local population, and there are Unitary officers that are being deployed. Jin looked at one of the Support unit soldiers. "What happened here?" Jin asked while he was looking at the window.

"Well, Sir there was an attack, a cyber attack from the rebel cell. The Rebels are saying that the N.D.A.M is hiding something that is making us human being a test subject for experiments. Now the local population wants some answers from the N.D.A.M spokesperson. Sadly the comment of the N.D.A.M is still not yet published." After that, the Support Unit soldier looks down.
"Is that so, well at least we know that we are not really being treated as lab rats," Jin exclaimed as he looked at the window and saw that they are near the facility, as the gates opened.
After the Armored Personnel carrier entered the facility gate, it stopped at the middle and when they come down they were met by the Commanding officer of the communication tower. All of them were informal uniforms, they met the Squire Squad 29th with a salute. And the commanding officer approached Jin and said "We are sorry for what happened to that Squire Squad, we humbly appreciate your effort in bringing back their bodies."
As a reply, Jin said, "It was an honor of our brothers and sisters in this war that we are bringing them home." And Jin nodded after he said that and saluted the commanding officer. After that, the bodies were transported to the crematorium for the burning of the body to be delivered to their families same with the letter that they wrote if that kind of scenario happened.
Jin and the others head to their barracks for some rest, Fang Shirong looked at the others he saw their faces that they are tired and exhausted from the battle. "Hey, why not let's eat together as a family for today. I know a food place outside of the facility we can dine in."
Fang Shirong smiled as he wanted to boost the others, Qi Meili and Qiao Jiao looked at him and replied "We will be coming if you are going to pay".
And when Han Zian heard that he then stated "I can help you buy the food they will eat, they are monsters when it comes to food so ill give a share" Han Zian smiled while looking at Qiao Jiao.
And then Fang Shirong looked at Jin "Sir, are you coming with us?" Jin looked back as he placed down the armor that he was wearing earlier. "Well, I need to give a report but that can wait so let's have some drinking shall we!" Jin shouted.

After all of them prepares for going out of the facility as they are now off duty, Fang Shirong's style was a bit different from the others. "Whoa, I did not know you will be wearing a t-shirt with colorful stuff" Han Zian teased him as he smiled. "Well, what I can say ladies will be flocking me" Fang Shirong smiled at Han Zian with their lustful eyes.
But that will stop when Qi Meili and Qiao Jiao pinch their side. "Ahhh! that hurts Qiao Jiao!" Han Zian looked up as he felt the pinch from the side. Fang Shirong twists his body so that Qi Meili will stop pinching him. "You know that hurts, dang!"
Meanwhile, Jin looked at them from the back and he was smiling that the team he created was one of a successful, he ever created. And then He saw Tan Shan leaning on a black car while crossing his arms. The Squad members saluted Tan Shan as he was wearing a Senior Specialist First Class. "Carry on,"
he said as he looked at them, but then the other looked at their Squad leader that was stopped by Tan Shan. "Get in," Tan Shan said with an authoritative tone of voice, as he opened the back door.
"As of right now I am off duty," Jin replied, but Tan Shan was persistent and repeated himself. "Get in the car. As per the order of the Deputy Commanding officer of the 7th Player Corp" Tan Shan gets inside first, Jin looked at the others and said "I will catch up later don't worry get some beer from me" the other smiled as Jin said that. But the atmosphere changes when he entered the car.
"I did not know that you could drink" Tan Shan looked at Jin and then looked back at the driver and said "Drive, head to Headquarters."
"Do I still need to call you a friend?" Jin looked at the window as he said that as he doesn't want to look at Tan Shan's greedy face. "I was only doing my job as an instructor Jin, I don't have the power to say to the HIGH COM" Tan Shan replied to what Jin stated earlier.
"Got it, you will always hide from the true power and let go of your true friend how pathetic will you be" And Tan Shan loses his temper and grabs Jin's collar.
"Don't test me I am still a higher rank than you. You were called because of what you did. I really don't like your attitude from the start of our reunion. And because of that reunion, some of my squad members lost trust because of me." Tan Shan lets go of Jin's collar and then looked straight ahead.
After that, they arrived at the Headquarters. "Also you need to change your uniform, we are heading to a party-like ceremony because of the success of a mission that was earlier been discussed." Tan Shan said as he handed a suit for Jin to wear. "I will be waiting at the lobby so be sure to finish."
Jin nodded and as the door opened Jin head towards the bathroom and change into the suit. When he was about to walk out of the hallway that was heading towards the lobby. He then saw a familiar beautiful face, it was Qinge Yu. Jin looks down as he doesn't want to get noticed by the 56th user corp group Squad D squad leader. "Why is she here? That is weird I thought the headquarters of the User corp is on the other building that is the opposite of this building.
But even though Jin looks down he was still noticed by the Squad leader. "Well… Well… Well… We met again, and I am sure this is not our first meet am I right Ru Jin?" Her tone of voice was a bit domineering for Jin. "Well, Qinge Yu long time no see how was your Squad?" Jin said as he smiled.
"Well they are fine they are in joint training drill exercises and also they are going for a joint operation with a named squad." Jin looked at Qinge Yu "that is really nice I should be going you know, I need to attend an event."
And then Qinge Yu said, "Is the event is about a type of ceremony mind if you become my escort upon entering that hall?" Jin was a bit confused and about what to say to a beautiful woman in front of him.

Post War Rules
Life on Torus Terminal is usually fast paced, but simple. A frontier Terminal has little room for easy living, but the great, circular station does boast shopping and culinary experiences from many Imperial races and cultures. Any star is, by its nature, extremely far from its neighbors. But laser highways, and the great shimmering sails of the light-rider spaceships make the trip into only about ten years. Still, the denizens of Torus Terminal eagerly await the day when the Anti-Euclidean Engine their station is built around finally comes online. Once that is done, they will have unfettered access to the entire Empire. Instantaneous travel and trade across hundreds of stars. Torus Terminal does boast one other oddity: a creature which calls itself Human. As he says, the last of his kind for now. He has made quite the life for himself on Torus Terminal, especially in the darker corners of the station. The elites of Torus Terminal praise his name, for once he took up arms, crime began to fall. What they did not realize was that was because he had claimed the seedy underbelly of Torus Terminal for himself and his own goals. The elites praise him as a paragon of law. The criminals fear him as a ruthlessly clever crime boss. Those closest to him, know him as the General. This story was originally posted on the Humanity Fuck Yeah subreddit, where it evolved from a simple play on a historical figure in a science fiction setting into a full blown space opera. I kind of took it as an opportunity to explore a setting I've had rolling around in my head for years. I also decided that it would be nice to have it in a place where I could more easily come back and edit it later, so I'm reposting it here. Here's a link to the original posting if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/HFY/comments/e9cwpl/post_war_rules/ If my genre and tagging is subpar, let me know. I'm still new to Royal Road and I'm open to help. Feel free to comment and make suggestions, or discuss. I love comments, and so long as we keep things civil I also love criticism.
