"You mean the volcanic minion will explode if we release its skill that is being executed as of right now?" The officer in charge was furious as he talked to the control officer. But he can't do anything because what the Control officer said was true. It's either they need to lose an arm or the entire thing will explode because of the explosion it will generate. 

[On the ground]

The volcanic minion changes its target, As it now aimed at the other Squad leaders that are far from Jin. Jin smirked as they also know that if they target him they too will explode.

So Jin aimed his dual pistols at the underarm of the volcanic minion. And as he pulled the trigger of his two pistols both of the guns fired simultaneously the loud bang can be heard and the bullets pierce through the rocky thick skin of the Volcanic minion.

And the blazing bullets exploded and the Ice cold bullets freeze its magma flow that is generating the volcanic minion power. Followed with that explosion it also added some part of the left body of the volcanic minion to combust and explode. With that explosion, Jin backs off far from the debris that was now flying everywhere. 

"Now you see how you don't want to mess with someone who already knows how to beat normal monsters. And how you don't want to test me this much heh," Jin grinned and looked at the double mirror that is located above the dome. Jin waved at the camera as and try to provoke the officer in charge. 

[Control Panel]

"Look at that man's face he is disgusting us officers look at him he must die in that dome what do you think instructor?" the officer in charge look at Tan Shan and was trying to convince Tan Shan to ordered a full test on the candidates inside the dome. And Tan Shan looked at the officer who is clasping his hands and trying to gain his favor.

"You call yourself an officer with that kind of mindset? Who do you think we are fighting with our own?" Tan Shan looked at the officer in Charge disgusted and turns around and said

"Call off the Dome there is no need to test some of them they already felt the pain that was needed for them to know that monsters and front line battles are not something they could play and have fun with. And because of you, you only made that man confident that any simulation we will do will be easy for him" 

Tan Shan walked towards the sliding metal door. As it pumps gas when it opens, Tan Shan entered the dome and he smells the smoke and burns off the whole place.

The simulation has been turned off and all the monsters were disappearing one by one even the volcanic minion that was in front of Jin. 

[On the ground]

"All of you did great!" Tan Shan confidently said with his tone of voice like provoking someone. As the sliding metal door opened. Tan Shan also ordered the entrance of the medical staff that needs to attend to the wounded on the ground. Jin walked towards Tan Shan with an angry face,

``this stupid guy he wants me to be injured here so that the commanding officer will stop favoring me, what a pathetic loser``

And when Jin stood in front of Tan Shan. 

Tan Shan looked at him like he is a higher person than him. Tan Shan looked at Jin that was standing in front of him.

"Yes, candidate Ru Jin how can I help you?" Jin replied quickly as he back off a bit, "Sir, my weapon as specified at the weapon racks my blood was not available to any guns that were on the weapon racks, Sir. That is why I only used a pistol that I bought" 

"Well, Candidate soldier are you telling me that I did not order for the scientific division to make you a weapon because you failed to submit a blood sample of yours?"

Tan Shan looked at him grinning, ``What is this guy ulterior motives for sabotaging me in this training he was supposed to help me``

Jin looked down and said "Sir permission to head to the science lab to be able to have my weapon Sir" 

Tan Shan looked at him as if he was still intimidating Jin and then Tan Shan whispered to Jin closely "how does it feel my friend being 2nd to my authority" Tan Shan then walked through Jin bumping his shoulder. "Proceed with your weapon to the Scientific Division." 

Jin was gritting his teeth and his anger was about to burst but he did not let it win as he did want to make another problem that is he is currently facing now. For now, he wants to focus on the weapon that he needs to create and needs to equip.``I rather use the weapon that the throne has given me rather than going to the Scientific Division.``

Jin then walked towards the metal sliding door. And heads out towards the scientific division but he just wants to fool the others that he did go to the Scientific division, not for the weapon but just to think of a further assessment on the creation of equipment he wants to see. An arm-like band that generates a shield that he may carry if there is a close combat attack or fight that might happen to him.

Jin walked up to the glass door of the scientific division. And when he entered the Scientific division everyone looks at him and it feels like he was the only one that is not around inside the office. Jin looks at himself when he saw a mirror. And He saw how dirty and haggard he look. So he walked up to one of the scientists.

"Excuse me?" Jin said with a humble tone of voice. The scientist was doing something, his hair was a bit messy but it is still in a ponytail. He then turned around and looked at Jin. And when Jin was not that stunned by her messy look because of the haggard-looking scientist in front of him. The Scientist replied "Yes? Look I am bust so speak up I don't have full-day"

Jin then stuttered at first and the scientist giggle as she watches Jin stutter for a moment, but Jin was able to construct his sentence "Where is the bathroom located here?" the Scientist replied "It is over there" She pointed. Jin turns around and left. Heading towards the bathroom, and as he was walking down the hall every time he passes by a group of scientists all of them were looking at him. As if they have only seen one person in that kind of condition.

"Why is everyone looking at me as if I am an alien or some sort" he whispered and sigh, After a few walks he reached the bathroom. And entered the male room. After 30 minutes he walks out of the bathroom and heads out to the offices of the Scientific division. The building of the Scientific division was as simple as it could get. There are no other designs except for flora that is put in every office room. 

The whole room can be see-through but he also notices some room that is supposed to see through but it is quite blurry. ``So this room can turn the clear glass to blurry how effective could this place be.``

Jin was quite lost and he also did not know where is the weapon section for the science is located. So he walked up to a Scientist once again that was carrying some box. "Excuse me-" But Jin was quickly ignored and the scientist walk past him, Jin walked up to the next scientist that was just standing and was about to drink his water.

"Excuse me," Jin said as humble as he could. And the scientist turns around the scientist really looks pale as if the scientist did not sleep well last night. The eyes were quite reddish and his face was tired as if he was anemic, Like a battered student in a thesis paper overnight.

"Sir may I know where is the weapon department of this place?"  the scientist pointed in the direction where there is a metal sliding door. 

Jin nodded and said "Thanks Sir" and when Jin was a few steps away the pale scientist, raised his arm and whispered "this is centurion 1 the HVT is walking towards the weapon department over"

Jin continued to walk towards the metal sliding door and there is a scanner for personnel that is only allowed to enter. Jin puts his hand and the Artificial intelligence after scanning Jin credentials, it then said quickly [Access Granted]the metal sliding door opened and there Jin saw monsters, and weapons mixed together. 

There are monsters roaring from the other side, and weapons being fired at the firing range. The weapon department office was quite huge compared to the departments he saw earlier. Jin walked in and as he walked in there was a gas that was pumped, and the metal sliding door closes.  And he was able to walk inside.

Jin slowly looked at the different weapons that were slowly being materialized from the blood samples and he also saw the weapon that he wants to look the armband shield, which is a generated electromagnetic compromised power that can generate a forcefield like a shield to be able to bounce back certain force that can be applied to it. Jin was amazed at what he sees and he wants to look for more weapons. 

So he walked and see how there are a lot of weapons that are being invented, he also saw jet-pack-type systems and helmet armors that can be suited for support units so that when they enter the frontlines they are able to fight enemies that are much high power than them. But Jin also notices that all of the created weapons here are all prototypes and still not yet be able to reproduce for mass production and most of the prototypes are still in phase 1 of the trials.

But if the said prototypes are able to mass-produce then it will be possible for humankind to enter the rifts. And be able to destroy those rifts and be able to put humankind on the brink of supremacy once again.
