As the group except for Qin Hua stared outside gawking at the green-skinned thin and short creature, the creature suddenly turned and looked right at them with its big beady little eyes.

"FUCK!" Lu Chen shouted and both Alex and Xu Meilin screamed. "That's a goblin." Su Yan tried to remain calm and understand the situation but even he trembled when the goblin who had stepped out started running towards their building in their direction.

As if that was not enough, more and more goblins started pouring out of the black hole on the street. Luckily for them, the creatures scattered in all directions running helter-skelter in the abandoned street.

Only that one goblin was rushing towards their direction. There was a good distance between their building and the hole on the street but still, the creature seemed to be very fast.

"Get away from the windows, NOW!" Su Yan shouted and quickly prepared to run outside, but even that felt like a death sentence as weird roars resounded from all parts of the apartment complex.

There was danger outside and there was danger inside and no one had any clue as to what they were supposed to do and how they were supposed to survive.

Only one thing was abundantly clear to them! They had to fight in order to survive in this weird delusional world. They had to FIGHT!

Su Yan was faster to adapt to the situation compared to the others and Lu Chen also wasn't that far behind him. The two girls were taking it the worst.

Woof! Woof! Qin Hua on the other hand was barking loudly, trying to get their attention to the shit storm that was outside. However, her barks were drowned in the loud roars and banging noises.

"Listen up. Take these and stick close to us." Su Yan quickly opened a kitchen drawer and threw a knife at both Alex and Xu Meilin.

He was then about to say something to Lu Chen when a loud banging noise sounded on their door. "Save me. Save me. Save me. Please. I am begging you."

The next second, the door fell down completely unhinged and a beefy tall man with eyes bright and hollow stared at the human beings inside.

"Ahhh…" The fat man who had been crying for help earlier fell down on the ground, whimpering, and tried to crawl away from the zombie as fast as he could.

The zombie's eyes were no longer fixated on the fat man and it instead started dashing towards the four human beings standing in front of it.

Everyone knew the gravity of the situation but fear held them frozen. Both Su Yan and Qin Hua were the first to react and Su Yan immediately recollected the feeling which he had memorized several times yesterday night.

His arms and fists were instantly covered by a layer of thick metallic scales and almost at the same time, he landed a punch on the mana zombie that had barged into the house.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The zombie fell back stumbling and fumbling, its body almost smashed completely.

Qin Hua stared dumbly with her jaw dropped. She had only gotten a single leech bite in but the fight was already over!

[What the hell kind of power difference is this??? Woof!] She couldn't help but grumble when a crisp notification chimed in.

Her eyes went wide at the pathetic experience points gained. [Oh? Is this because I didn't land the last hit and also didn't contribute much to the fight??]

But she didn't have the time to remain salty over this small issue. Just as they had taken care of this single zombie, two more came running towards them at full speed from either side of the corridor.

Weirdly, these zombies seemed to be ignoring the fat guy on the floor and Qin Hua and coming straight at Su Yan as if they could only sense and see him and no one else.

Su Yan was not in the least perturbed as he quickly heaved a big breath in and prepared to take care of both the incoming turned humans.

He twisted his body to punch one and then used his other hand to punch the next one when an ice spear landed on the zombie's neck and took it down, blood splattering everywhere.

"I got you, bro." Lu Chen shouted from behind.

Qin Hua as well bit into everything in sight like a rabid dog and with Su Yan's pummeling, the two new zombies were quickly brought down within seconds.

The fat man dumbly stared at this scene as if he couldn't believe his eyes. "Just… Just what the hell are you guys???" He screamed in a weird squeaky voice as his throat had dried out from shouting for help.
