Bang!

In the palace, Prince Lin Bo Wang was looking at the destruction in one area of the palace. He was sure that someone had destroyed the study where the Emperor usually stayed, which made it impossible for the Emperor to survive.

He walked into the room where the Sun Kingdom Emperor was located and could see the wound on the man's body. It was so horrible that it looked as if his entire skin was corroded, leaving none of his original appearance intact.

"What happened?" Prince Lin Bo Wang asked in low tone.

"There's an assassin who come after His Majesty. Based on the way it looked like, he destroyed himself because he failed to kill His Majesty thus resulting in this fashion."

However, destroying himself proved to be an even worse condition.

Looking at how badly Sun Kingdom Emperor looked like, Prince Lin Bo Wang could certainly guess that the assassin must be someone with shadow element. The element was so rare that if they managed to grow powerful, they would be valuable assets to the kingdom.

Unfortunately, the assassin had died.

And they didn't even know who the perpetrator was.

No… he knew but there was no prove.

Prince Lin Bo Wang could clearly remember how calm Lin Xiao looked at. The faint smile on that annoying new prince's face was even more deeply attached into his mind as he thought about that incident. No matter what happened, he didn't want to tell the others about his speculation yet because he knew that it would only make things worse without any prove whatsoever.

"Where's Prince Lin Hong?"

"His Highness Prince Lin Hong is in the main hall. He's saying that he will be the new Emperor should His Majesty passed away…" the guard said in trembling tone.

"Oh? My little brother is going ahead on his own." Prince Lin Bo Wang smiled sinisterly and looked at the guard with chilling expression. After he had killed Prince Lin Fei, his aura looked even more threatening than before and didn't seem as if he was someone who was about to kill everyone around him.

The guards were all trembling in fear. They didn't dare to cross this prince before them in fear that they would be thrown outside the residence without any intact corpse. Many of them felt that the most dangerous thing in the entire world was the anger of these moody princes.

No one could know what they were thinking.

Prince Lin Bo Wang snorted and walked away from the place towards the hall. He could see that the Emperor's life force was thinning away as they spoke, so there was no need for him to stay here any longer. Sun Kingdom Emperor will die and the new emperor had to be chosen fast.

He glanced at his men and counted internally. Thanks to Prince Lin Fei creating trouble this morning, he had already calculated that around half of them were no longer in good condition to fight. 

Not to mention…

"The entire summer palaces are destroyed?" Prince Lin Bo Wang asked in cold tone. He had gotten the news afterwards that the entire Summer Palaces were destroyed. The palace was located far from the main palace where the Emperor stayed but it was where most of other princes stayed, including his men.

There were also other princes staying there in several different areas.

"Yes, Your Highness."

"Casualties?"

The guard was trembling under Prince Lin Bo Wang's gaze as he stuttered in his report. "There.. are no survivors, Your Highness. Those who stay home all died."

"All died?"

Prince Lin Bo Wang's eyes turned icy as he stretched his hand. A scroll was given to him as he quickly browsed it with his eyes. Just a glance was more than enough to let him know that those who stayed behind in the Summer Palaces were those from his side, Prince Lin Fei's side, and Prince Lin Hong's side. 

Those who were neutral or didn't seem to have any opinion yet, 'coincidentally' were out during the time the sudden massacre started.

"How funny. To think that they all conspired against me."

There was anger and rage deeply embroiled within Prince Lin Bo Wang's eyes. He had never expected that the young new prince would be so ruthless as to destroy the entire Summer Palace and involved those from all three factions.

Was he not afraid that he would retaliate?

Oh, that ignorant brat didn't even flinch when Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor, who was at Golden Core Stage 3, attacked him. How could he be afraid of a mere prince who was at Golden Core Stage 2.

"Well, well, since it's already up to this point, let's sweep the rest."

"Yes, Your Highness."

The guards retreated while Prince Lin Bo Wang entered the main hall. He noticed that Prince Lin Hong was already standing at one side, looking back at him warily. Seeing that figure was acting so cautious, Prince Lin Bo Wang wanted to laugh.

You're acting so cautious when you see me but you're declaring yourself as the next emperor?

It wouldn't be that easy.

"So, I heard that you want to proclaim yourself as the next Emperor, my little brother?" Prince Lin Bo Wang asked.

Prince Lin Hong furrowed his brows when he heard how Prince Lin Bo Wang spoke. There was no malicious intent or anything like that that could be heard. However, he still felt faint chills on his back.

"Yes! I'm more suitable to become the Emperor than you." Prince Lin Hong retreated back behind an official at Golden Core Stage 3, who was also supporting him. The official let out a sigh because he didn't expect this brat to move back but considering that Prince Lin Hong had only managed to breakthrough to Golden Core Stage after stuffing himself with a lot of Qi, it was clear that his cultivation hadn't caught up with Prince Lin Bo Wang yet.

Prince Lin Bo Wang chuckled. "Well, since you also want to become the Emperor, let's fight."
