Before disappearing, Prince Lin Bo Wang sneaked a glance towards Lin Xiao as he snorted. It seemed that the stupid new prince was now seeking his own death. It was not worth it to endure the wrath of a Golden Core Stage 3 Cultivator's wrath just for a woman.

As the Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor unleased his aura, the others were also getting ready. Their determined expression showed as if they were ready to a fight until their death with the Emperor.

Fluttering her fan, the fire spread towards Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor and seemed to trap him, which prevented him from getting even closer. Fiery bird images appeared from the fire element, making one wonder why she was not the one who got the Phoenix Inheritance.

Without the need of instruction, Lin Yun stepped forward and performed Mountain Sword technique to the highest degree that he had mastered. The sound of sword Qi flashed through the air filled the area.

Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor raised his own saber, which blocked the attack.

From behind, Prince Lin Yan had appeared. His face was stoic as he stretched out his hand and faint Qi spread like thread from him. Beside him, Prince Lin Xian had also come closer and punched forward.

Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor raised his hand, blocking their attack as the thread circled into his hand and sharp pain appeared on his hand. He furrowed his brows as he could sense that his Qi and life force was sucked out.

"Damn you! To think a prince from Sun Kingdom would learn a treacherous skill like Sucking life thread!"

Prince Lin Yan merely snorted. "To be able to survive, it didn't matter what kind of skill we should learn."

This time Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor punched forward, pushing the two princes back as they were incapable to withstand the full attack from Golden Core Stage 3.

With a roar, Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor brandished his saber and made large swing towards the group below him.

Lin Yun's eyes widened as he shot out his Qi, forming barrier. 'Qi barrier!'

Layer of Qi formed around them. This was a defense skill that he had painstakingly learned after he managed to enter that Book Pavilion. Beside him, Fan Ling also used her fan and pulled them away from that point.

The entire area was filled with devastating mark. Destruction seemed imminent just from the scale of the things.

Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor snorted and then moved away from his position as he dispelled the thread on his hand.

The sudden attack from Prince Lin Yan ended in failure. 

At this point, the chilling temperature had come once more. Both Prince Lin Yan and Prince Lin Xian performed their movement technique while the wind around them moved as Fan Ling created another prison, this time with her wind element.

Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor looked forward and saw Lin Xiao wielded his sword. There was something that spell danger from his eyes.

Chilling Lake Sword, Ninth Stance!

The ninth stance was the highest stance that someone at Golden Core Stage 1 could possibly learn. Lin Xiao had gathered all of his Qi into this one attack, making sure that it would freeze everything on its path.

The attack went straight towards Hua Lan Kingdom Emperor as the penetrating ice stabbed into his body. Blood spurted out, yet there were also faint chills on Hua Lan Emperor's face as he looked towards Lin Xiao. 

He hated this young man.

Beside them, Princess Lan Yi Hua was spreading her fire, trapping Princess Lan Xiao Yue in an endless sea of fire.

"You won't be able to get away, Xiao Yue," Princess Lan Yi Hua said in calm tone. Her eyes were staring at her younger sister, whom she would never want to acknowledge in her entire life ever again.

Princess Lan Xiao Yue was looking at Princess Lan Yi Hua with horror on her face. "You can't do this to me! You b*tch! You're supposed to be always under me! You're destined to just become my stepping stone and will never recover no matter how many times it takes!"

"Destiny?" Princess Lan Yi Hua snorted. The twin swords she wielded made crossing movement as fiery Qi shot out from her. "I'm writing my own destiny."

"AAAAAa!"

The fire hit Princess Lan Xiao Yue directly, pushing her back several meters away. Her clothes were burnt and some parts were visible, yet she didn't have the time to care as the fire around her was creeping closer and closer to her.

"No! Don't come close! Get away from me!"

Punching forward with whatever power she had left, Princess Lan Xiao Yue was using the Qi she had to finally fight back. Fear and discontent was still written on her beautiful face while those who were watching from the distance lamented that they couldn't see her figure close enough.

But they didn't dare to get close at all.

The right side was ice world while the left side was fiery flame. Usually, fire would be associated with yang while ice would be associated with yin, but this time it was turned around.

But despite that, no one dared to get closer at all.

They knew that the difference in temperature might even destroy their body if it was used together. Because even though the two sides looked as if they were the polar opposite, there was still sense of harmony between the two of them. It was as if it was already a given that the two sides had to exist together.
