《Rise of the Great Emperor 》Chapter 417: Returning to the Capital City

After coming into terms with Prince Fu Liang, Lin Xiao also gained some information regarding the restriction. After all, Prince Fu Liang couldn't just provoke Lin Xiao without giving anything in return.
The information would be soon given to the Emperor and the other princes to, so it was not really a top secret.
But other than them, it would not be made known to the public.
In short, the restriction was a type of formation that was using the ancient power to keep it in place. It was not known who placed it but from some people who came to visit the place and from the transcription that was left behind, Jade Snow Kingdom managed to infer some things.
First, it was a form of protection because once the formation fell, they would have to face other kingdoms outside this region. They would attack recklessly and made sure that there was nothing that they could do.
Why?
Of course, that was in order to be able to gather more people to work for them. In other words, they were gathering slaves in order to do their dirty work.
Second, the restriction was made to be lifted only if there was someone who could understand the words and had sufficient power to bring the entire land up. If they were not powerful enough, how could they expect to be able to survive in this cruel world?
Third, the restriction was placed in 4 areas, north, south, east, and west. Sun Kingdom was in direct access to the south restriction pole, which meant that they could easily destroy it if they want. Jade Snow Kingdom was nearest to the North while Hua Lan Kingdom was nearest to the East one. Bing Yue Kingdom was place for the West one.
In other words, they needed the cooperation of the entire land.

Or just simply dominate the entire land.
"I see." Listening to Prince Fu Liang telling the story, Lin Xiao nodded. It seemed that he would either need cooperation or simply forced them all to be under him.
Under him…
That was quite the goal but Lin Xiao felt that it was not that bad for a goal. Lin Xiao didn't know how long it would take him to be able to finish his goal, though.
"Is that all?" Princess Lan Yi Hua asked in low tone.
Prince Fu Liang glanced at the young princess and nodded. "Yes. the detail of the collaboration is not something that I plan to divulge to you first. However, I can tell you that the time limit is quite short."
"Don't worry." Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows. "I won't take long."
Prince Fu Liang nodded and took the cup before him. After hearing what Lin Xiao said and how he showed his card, Prince Fu Liang knew that there must be still many others that Lin Xiao kept to himself. The tea tasted very bitter and he was not really in the mood to taste it anymore.
If Lin Xiao was really as powerful as he claimed himself to be and able to gain control of the entire Sun Kingdom…
He heh, Jade Snow Kingdom might not be able to be their match.
"Let's go out. I still have to waste a lot of time to talk with the others."
"Alright."
Lin Xiao stood up with ease. After talking with Prince Fu Liang for a while, his energy had returned. Right now, he shouldn't have any problem even if he had to create another formation.
Though, it would be best if he didn't have to form another formation right now.

He really didn't want it.
Silently, Lin Xiao practiced Nourishing Lake Technique inside his body. He might not use his Qi but it was clear that this technique was also useful to calm his mind. Since he was quite tired mentally, it would help him to be able to stay calm and refreshed. That way, his fatigue would not be seen.
"Your Highness, you're done?" Prince Lin San asked. He was guarding the door the entire time but he didn't look like he was wronged at all.
Lin Xiao nodded. "Yes, let's return back."
"Alright."
As they walked to the teleportation array, Prince Fu Liang sent a voice transmission to Elder Kang Huang who came with him.
"Prince Lin Xiao is more interesting than what the information had gathered. Just watch, it'll be very interesting in the future."
Kang Huang didn't have any change in his expression but his eyes flickered.
The group didn't really have any trouble in the city at all. Besides, they didn't stay there for a long time before they headed to the teleportation array and sent back to the Capital City.
Swish!
Lin Xiao noticed the huge number of people outside. His lips curled up to form a smirk. "Your Highness, my task here is done."
"Done?" Prince Fu Liang was surprised. He glanced at the door before nodding. It seemed that the battle for the throne in Sun Kingdom was quite intense. There were a lot of people who were qualified to earn the position as the Crown Prince among the younger generation.
And they were all fighting quite openly.
"Yes."
"In that case, thank you for your hospitality. I hope we'll meet again in the future."
Lin Xiao nodded then he left directly. When he walked out, he could see that Prince Lin Bo Wang had brought large procession with him. It was clear that this prince wanted to impress Prince Fu Liang.
Prince Lin Bo Wang glanced at Lin Xiao but didn't even bother to greet him. With the battle grew fiercer, he had slowly started to reveal more and more of his true nature.
Of course, Lin Xiao didn't mind at all.
In fact, he felt that it was more interesting this way.
Prince Lin San and Prince Lin Xian were following behind Lin Xiao. From their stance, it was not difficult to guess that they were following Lin Xiao and had chosen to be in his side.
