They only needed to build a small pond inside the residence and Lin Xiao could make it to a lake filled with Qi. That would be much better than them having to fight against the others so much.

Besides, those at Golden Core Stage only needed more Spirit Stone not for their own use but to exchange for classes. Lin Xiao had no intention of taking the paid classes and would just opt for the free one.

In addition, it would be the time for the Phoenix Inheritance battle soon.

The training ground would be a bit a waste though, but they all had just reached the Golden Core Stage 1 and needed to settle their cultivation first. Princess Lan Yi Hua and Lin Xiao might still be able to use the training ground more effectively but Lin Yun still needed to familiarize himself with his own skill, so having a residence was enough since there was also an ordinary training room inside.

Lu Jian would have only reached Golden Core Stage 1 and naturally would need to train himself first. A residence would be enough. Han Jiang… prefer real missions rather than those rooms since he liked to see blood. Xia Ye had too many secrets and couldn't train effectively under surveillances.

Fan Ling would return back to Fan Family after getting some Spirit Stones. She and Lu Jian would then take care of that pond.

"Damn, and here I thought that I can be a full fledge student again." Han Jiang sighed and felt that it was really too bad.

"Right, where's Xia Ye?" Fan Ling hadn't seen the young man again after returning back to Sun Dragon Academy. She thought that he was missing but the teacher told her that he had reported back from mission.

"He's outside now since he's already three years here." Lin Xiao chuckled.

"Why?"

"Why?" Lin Xiao tilted his head as his eyes gleamed. That was obviously because Xia Ye had to train in missions but his missions couldn't be the ordinary mission that he took from the academy. Instead, it was killing mission that was required for him to grow much stronger. 

"He needs a different method to grow stronger."

"Oh."

That answer was already more than enough for them. Lin Xiao stretched his hand then walked to the stage. "I'm going to fight first."

"Who are you going to challenge?"

"Hmm, whoever deem me worthwhile their time."

The others were speechless by Lin Xiao's words. Why did it sound as if Lin Xiao didn't mind whoever he had to fight in the arena? Seriously?

But before Lin Xiao could step onto the arena, he heard his name called. 

"Lin Xiao!"

Lin Xiao heard the call and turned around. A smile formed on his lips when he saw Prince Lin San, who had finally returned. Looking at the aura around his body, it was clear that he had advanced to Golden Core Stage.

Golden Core Stage at mere 20/21 years old already made him one of the forefront genius.

Of course, Lin Xiao hadn't revealed that he was also at Golden Core Stage yet. Only some of them who had keen senses had realized that he was already at Golden Core Stage by this point.

"Third Brother, you're finally back."

Prince Lin San nodded. He was surprised at Lin Xiao's address to him but soon, he was happy. "First Brother had settled the matter?"

"Yep, don't you already know that when you welcome me back then?"

"I don't know. I'm a bit busy lately." Prince Lin San shrugged. 

Lin Xiao then recalled that Prince Lin San had to settle the matter of his followers. In addition, it seemed that Prince Lin San had quiet some gain from the Secret Region back then. 

It would be more than enough for the time being.

"I would like to catch up with you, but I want to stretch a bit in the arena."

"Oh?" Prince Lin San smiled faintly. "I would like to challenge you too but I guess you would not be interested in my low ranking."

"Do you participate in the ranking last month?"

"Yeah, just to keep the residence, though." Prince Lin San shrugged. He simply attended then left again, so his ranking was hovering in 900 something. He hadn't had the time to challenge those above him and now that he was already at Golden Core Stage 1, it was clear that he would want to start fighting.

"I'll start first, then."

Lin Xiao walked to the stage and looked at the other person in the arena. He didn't know who it was but he knew that the other party was a cultivator at Golden Core Stage 1.

"Who are you? Do you also want to challenge me?"

"I just want to get into the ranking and have good position." Lin Xiao smiled. "I'm a new student, my name is Lin Xiao."

Lin Xiao?

Most of them naturally knew this name. The name that had been discussed greatly for the past few weeks have been Lin Xiao and Lin Xiao alone. 

The student was stunned but he soon beamed. It seemed that his luck was really good to be able to meet with Lin Xiao in this battle. If he could defeat Lin Xiao, wouldn't it mean that his name would be discussed greatly as someone who defeated a prince?

That would be very good.

"In that case, I accept your challenge!"

"Alright."
