《Rise of the Great Emperor 》Chapter 394: Decision

Not interested?
Almost instantly, everyone was looking at Fan Pan. He was still standing in the middle of the arena with placid and cool expression. It was clear that he was also being serious.
But…
What was he talking about?
Did he mean that he didn't want to kick Fan Ling out?
Fan Pei's face turned dark. "But Brother, she'll try to take your position as the Fan Family successor once more if you let her stay here! Besides, she's the one who use the resources of Fan Family the most."
Old Master Fan's face turned a shade darker as he shot a glare at Fan Pei's father. The man was flustered as he stepped forward to stop Fan Pei from spouting more nonsense. If this continues, the drama would never end.
"I use the most resources? Fan Pei, are you not talking about yourself?" Fan Ling jeered. "I'm not even staying at home for the past three years and do you really think that Sun Dragon Academy will let me use my family's resources?"
"What the hell, do they not allow you to return back?"
"I can only return back for 7 days per year damn you! I don't even care about the resources here anymore since I already have much more of others that I can use!"
"What the hell are you talking about, you…"
Bletak!
In the end, Fan Pei's father slammed his own son's head to stop him from talking. He looked at Fan Ling. "He's just spouting nonsense. Don't mind him that much. That said, Fan Pan, now that you're Fan Family successor, you should return back home more often. You're already Golden Core Stage 2 and it's only natural that you can graduate."
From the attack between Lin Xiao and Fan Pan just now, the others could already see that Fan Pan must be Golden Core Stage 2 at the very least since he didn't have any difficulties fending off the attacks at all.

When a student reached Golden Core Stage 2, they could choose to graduate and that was why Fan Family wanted Fan Pan to graduate.
Fan Pan looked at his father. "I'm not interested."
"You…"
"Fan Ling can become the family successor."
What?
It was like a bomb dropped from the sky as everyone looked at the indifferent Fan Pan with their mouth opened wide. If not from hearing it themselves, they would have never thought that Fan Pan would just give up his position as the successor like that.
"Brother, what are you talking about?" Fan Pei struggled to stand up as he looked at his brother in disbelief.
Why?
Why would Fan Pan give up this honorable position just like that?
Fan Ling was also looking at her cousin with frown on her forehead. She felt as if she was also dreaming.
"I'm not interested in the position," Fan Pan reiterated. He furrowed his brows and then looked at Lin Xiao for a moment before turning his body around. "I'm leaving now."
"Wait there, Fan Pan! What do you mean that you're not interested? You're the genius of Fan Family and it's your responsibility to work for the family and become the family head!" Fan Pan and Fan Pei's father roared in anger. He dreamed to become the father of the family head ever since a long time ago and now his own son was actually saying that he didn't want it?
How did he even give birth to this ungrateful son?
However, Fan Pan didn't answer his father and continued to walk away, his steps were firm as if he was saying that there was nothing that they could do to shake his thoughts.
"Fan Pan! Stop right there! If you dare to step even another step, you're no longer part of Fan Family!" Fan Pan's father continued to roar even louder. From his flushed expression, it was clear that he was extremely angry.

Fan Pan stopped then turned his head around. "You can erase me from the family register if that's what you wish."
"You ungrateful brat! Do you really think that you can leave just like that?" Fan Pan's father suddenly moved. In his anger, he sprinted right towards Fan Pan in an attempt to immobilize the young man.
Even though he was not that talented compared to his son, he had lived longer and naturally his cultivation was also more stable. He had reached Golden Core Stage 2 many years ago, so it could be said that their cultivation rank was the same.
Swish! Bang!
Punching forward, Fan Pan received his father's blow with cold expression.
And the one who was pushed back…
Was his father.
Thud!
Tumbling to the back, Fan Pan's father was looking at his son in disbelief. He had long known that his son was a genius, which was why Fan Pan could enter Sun Dragon Academy since young age.
But this… was clearly out of his expectation.
He couldn't even withstand one blow from Fan Pan?
"This…" Old Master Fan also furrowed his brows. He also didn't like Fan Pan's attitude but he would not act rashly. "Fan Pan, do you plan to return back to Fan Family in the future?"
Fan Pan paused for a moment before he let out a faint laugh. "My dream is in the vast sea. This place… is too small."
After saying the sentence, Fan Pan turned and continued to walk with light steps. Before long, he had disappeared from everyone's gaze and blended into the crowd unnoticed. His naturally weak presence aided him in disappearing into the crowd.
Old Master Fan looked at the gate and finally sighed.
Indeed.
Sun Kingdom was small. The four kingdoms are smalls.
If one really wanted to mark their names in history and achieve greatness, their goal was always to go beyond the mountain and sea. If they stayed here, the most they could achieve was only Golden Core Stage 3.
Only when they go outside would they reach further and become a real expert feared by the world.

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
