It seemed that Lin Xiao might be stupid, but he had good eyes for people. His action and also his personality drew people, who were normally would be against each other, to be working together harmoniously.

Considering how Princess Lan Yi Hua and Prince Lin San personality were, they would never be in the same page. Xia Ye was also the same as he was a proud person.

But when they were facing Lin Xiao, they instinctively lowered their guard and accepted him inside.

'Is this because he's the future Emperor or it's because his nature is already so?'

Prince Lin Yan was not sure.

"Ouch! Warn me before you start giving out fire."

"It's not that hurt, right? You can heal yourself." Princess Lan Yi Hua's tone sounded surprised.

"It's not but you surprise me."

"Hey you two, stop flirting please."

"Hehehe, just say that you're jealous my twin brother."

"Damn you, Lin Xiao!"

Watching them already bantering with each other again, Prince Lin Yan shook his head once more. He was looking into a distance away as his eyes narrowed. He was also wondering what should he possibly do should the person who came bore ill intent.

His current cultivation was still at Golden Core Stage 2 and it would take some time for him to advance. 

Not that he could, but he didn't want to.

Time passed ever so slowly.

"Mhm…"

"Oh, you're awake." Lin Xiao noticed the young boy was awake and smiled faintly. "Are you hungry? We're currently roasting a boar."

Lin Xiao and the others were currently roasting boar meat. A poor boar crossed their resting area and naturally, Lin Xiao and the others would not let their meal go. Thus, they gained their meal.

The young boy looked stunned. In the next moment, his stomach grumbled, telling others how hungry he was.

Prince Lin San chuckled. "I'm Hu San, what's your name?"

"Ah, I'm Long Hao," The young boy paused for a moment. His eyes were scanning his surroundings as he was in a slight trance. Previously, wasn't he inside the village and that there was an attack?  Why did he end up in this open area?

Tilting his head to the side, the boy's eyes turned red. He could see the remains of the destruction and felt that everything was his fault. If only he didn't come here, their opponents wouldn't have chased him until here and now…

He had indirectly caused so many people to die.

"They…?"

"I don't know what had happened because when we come here everything has been destroyed." Lin Xiao passed a look at Long Hao. "In any case, do you want some meat? You won't be able to do anything if you don't recover."

Long Hao sat up. It was then he realized that there was no pain in his body at all. Looking at the four people before him, he instantly realized that they must have healed him when they found him. 

His heart was instantly filled with gratitude.

His wounds were quite harsh and normally one would have to expend a lot of medicines to cure him. It seemed that he had met with several good people.

"We're planning to head to the city after someone who might know you pick you up. Do you have method to contact them? Like using Communication Jade." Lin Xiao handed a piece of meat to Long Hao while asking.

Long Hao took out a jade from his pocket but then he realized that he had run out of Qi. He was about to keep it away when a Low Grade Spirit Stone was tossed in front of him.

"You can use it."

"Tsk, you're wasting it on him." Prince Lin San felt the heartache too. "You can just let him recover naturally."

"But I want to head over to the next city as quickly as possible. Do you want to spend another night in the wilderness?" Lin Xiao asked back.

Hearing the question, Prince Lin San was utterly speechless. What was wrong with spending another night outside, ah? They were not exactly in a hurry whatsoever. 

Princess Lan Yi Hua smiled lightly. "It's his money Hu Xiao is even more of a miser than you, you know."

"Tsk."

Prince Lin San naturally knew that Lin Xiao treated money more carefully than him, which was why he had been surprised when Lin Xiao gave that Low Grade Spirit Stone. He himself didn't have much for his allowance but it was still at generous amount, so he was not that as stingy as Lin Xiao.

But giving a Spirit Stone, albeit it being a low grade, to a stranger was still not something he was comfortable to do.

Lin Xiao merely smiled but didn't explain. The only reason why he chose to do this was because Lin Hu was assessing the young boy for some time and only came to a realization just now.

"Lin Xiao, that boy, Long Hao, is the descendant of the previous Dragon Emperor a few millennium years ago."

"How do you know that?"

"The ancient power in his blood was also quiet thick, similar to your Royal Family. However, it gives me a sense of familiarity, so I can guess that his ancestor used to be Dragon Emperor a few millennium years ago." 

Lin Xiao furrowed his brows. "How about Lin Family?"

"Yours?" Lin Hu blinked his eyes, looking a bit absent minded. "While it's true that you used to be the descendant of someone with Dragon Power… he's not the Dragon Emperor."

"Excuse me."

Looking at the Lin Hu, Lin Xiao's eyes turned strange. He had heard that Sun Kingdom flourish because of an Emperor who had Dragon Power in the past and acknowledged as the Dragon Emperor.

But now, this dragon was saying that it was not the truth?

"Are you pulling my leg?" Lin Xiao looked at Lin Hu with annoyance.

Lin Hu snorted. "As if. That person got part of Dragon power that's transferred to him."
