《Rise of the Great Emperor 》Chapter 299: The Little Boy

Lin Hu glanced over to look at Lin Xiao. The brat's personality was infuriating but at the very least, Lin Xiao was someone who was willing to learn. He was also constantly improving himself.
His current personality and capability was still far from someone called an 'Emperor' though…
For his Dragon Power that was lurking his body?
The Dragon power and any other ancient power that was lurking within a person's blood would be predetermined from birth and it couldn't be changed. It was also the Heaven's gift for personal people.
Lin Hu naturally had noticed that Lin Xiao had quite a lot of Dragon Power because the brat kept on using it to strengthen his body. However, the amount was not that many compared to many other Emperor's in the past.
Thus, he couldn't understand.
'I shouldn't question the Heaven's decision and should just do my work well.'
Lin Hu sighed and silently stayed in Lin Xiao's consciousness. No matter how curious he was, he knew that the answer would not be answered anytime soon because of Lin Xiao's progress.
To be able to leave this place alone required him to be at least strong enough to do so.
Swish!
"This…"
The village that they saw from a distance was not a whole village. Prince Lin San now understood why he felt that the village looked strange in his Eyes of Truth. It was because the village was burning thorough the night.
He gritted his teeth.
Damn it! if only he had interpreted correctly based on what he had seen last night, the village might not end up in this state.
"There's someone who's still alive." Lin Xiao noticed that there was breathing sounds. His senses were pretty keen and naturally, he was good at identifying dead people and not.

Prince Lin San activated his Eyes of Truth and noticed that Lin Xiao was correct. By now they had already arrived by the small boy. The boy was around 12 years old and looked quite small for his age. His head was wounded and he lost his consciousness. However, there was faint aura of a living person around him.
Lin Xiao didn't hesitate and stretched his hand as stream of Qi went out of his body towards the boy's body.
'This is…?'
Upon sensing the Qi inside the boy's body, Lin Xiao was shocked senseless. The boy, who was still at the tender age of 12 years old, was actually Foundation Establishment Cultivator?
This… how in the world did this brat train?
Lin Xiao himself knew that when he was 12 years old, he had only started on the path of cultivation because the children were all forced to strengthen their body first. To become the first stage of Body Training required strong body and it took them a long time before they were qualified.
It was only after they were strong enough did they could train more and more.
But this little boy… was already a Foundation Establishment Cultivator?
Pushing his surprise deep into his heart, Lin Xiao focused on the treatment. He could sense that the young boy was injured in the head and had his Qi depleted. It was only after a few hours had passed that some returned but it was still very weak.
The boy wouldn't be able to survive if Lin Xiao didn't come here today.
"Hmm, done." Lin Xiao retracted his hand and took out a Spirit Stone to replenish his loss of Qi.
Prince Lin Yan then looked at the young boy before looking at the village. "There will be people coming to get the boy. With his current cultivation, I can guess that he must be someone with powerful identity. What do you want to do?"

What do you want to do?
Lin Xiao was startled when he heard Prince Lin Yan asked him the question. So far, all the decision had been falling in Prince Lin Yan's hand to the point that Lin Xiao felt that he himself was nothing more than a supporting character.
But hearing his older brother handed the decision to him, he was at loss.
"I'm only taking over when it comes to training but when it's other matter, you have to decide for ourselves. Remember, you're the one who will lead countless people in the future," Prince Lin Yan warned.
Lin Xiao nodded. He knew. Being the Emperor meant that he would have to lead a lot of people at the forefront. His every decision would affect the lives of so many people who relied on him.
Just one mistake would be more than enough to create disaster.
"We'll wait and see. Right now, we don't know his identity and finding him here is a coincidence. Besides, it's rare to see anyone stronger than Golden Core Stage 3. Even if we face one, we'll use the teleportation array and return back to Brother Hu's residence." Lin Xiao mapped their plans.
Prince Lin San furrowed his eyebrows. "What if he comes from higher ranked kingdom?"
"Higher ranked kingdom?"
The others all turned their head to look at him. This was both Lin Xiao and Xia Ye's first time hearing that kingdoms were ranked.
"Yes. The person whom you meet before, Ye Jian, also come from higher ranked kingdoms. They're all kingdoms that are far more powerful than our current kingdom. If this boy also come from there, we might even make enemies out of some high ranking kingdom."
"That's true…" Lin Xiao also felt troubled.
"In that case, we'll use your Eyes of Truth to discern whether the other party had malicious thoughts to us or not when they saw us with the boy. We'll agree with some motion so that you don't need to send sound transmission." Princess Lan Yi Hua added.
"That's a good idea." Prince Lin San's eyes shone.
Lin Xiao also nodded. That way, if the other party had malicious intention, they could run away.
"In that case, let's make the preparation." Prince Lin Yan pointed to the nearby empty area and the four of them immediately moved. Watching them cooperating together, Prince Lin Yan nodded his head.
