Even before it was dawn, Lin Xiao woke up. He thought that it would be a good night sleep but unfortunately, his senses were disturbed.

Slowly, Lin Xiao sat up and looked around him. He noticed that Princess Lan Yi Hua was also awake and her eyes were looking in the direction of the carriage. Unlike the three groups, the two girls were still staying in their carriage at night.

Was there something there?

Lin Xiao furrowed his eyebrows and shook Prince Lin San awake. The poor prince was startled but he didn't speak when he noticed that it was Lin Xiao. Seeing the dark area, he furrowed his brows.

'What is it?'

It was still night time.

Lin Xiao pointed at the carriage and Prince Lin San knew that Lin Xiao wanted him to use his Eyes of Truth. He directly activated it and nearly jumped to the back in fear. The baleful aura that he sensed from this morning was even more concentrated and stronger inside the carriage.

There were still traces of the two girls but right now, the baleful aura was so strong that it nearly suffocated him.

"What is it?" it was Lin Xiao's turn to ask.

"The aura around the girls are weird and it's… terrifying." Prince Lin San found it hard to speak as he felt that it was really unusual.

Prince Lin Yan also furrowed his brows. He had woken up due to these three actions that startled him. Not far from him, Xia Ye also had sat up and looked at his master as if asking for any direction.

"We should leave."

"Staying here any longer and we might be affected by that and…."

The terrifying aura suddenly spread and the other cultivators also woke up. They all turned to look at the carriage with stunned expression as one of them rushed forward bravely. His legs were trembling but he wanted to challenge whatever it was.

The man's scream spread far away. 

Everyone was stunned and noticed that the man was slowly disintegrating and black smoke permeate from the carriage.

Prince Lin Yan's eyes were sharp as he shouted, "RUN!"

Everyone swiftly moved from their position and took their temporary tent back to their Spatial Ring. No one dared to delay as they used their movement's technique to rush far away from the black smoke.

"AAAAAAAAAAaaaa!"

Screams came from their back. They knew that the smoke had already caught someone else and probably killed that person. Right now, they all didn't have the time to care about whoever it was.

Their priority was to run.

Run, far away.

No one dared to turn their back and it was only after they were already at a distance away did they stop. The sun was slowly rising from the distance and the terrifying pressure coming from behind them had disappeared.

"What's that?" Lin Xiao asked once more.

"Demonic Cultivator, most likely." Prince Lin Yan furrowed his brows. He turned to look at Princess Lan Yi Hua. "Do you know her?"

"Uh, yeah, she's one of the nobles." Princess Lan Yi Hua was already calming herself down. It seemed that whatever that baleful aura was, it would only make its attack when it was night time. When it was daytime, they were save.

Princess Lan Yi Hua furrowed her eyebrows. She never felt that way but then again she never met Mu Xiao Ya when it was night time.

"That girl might have touched something corrupted or forbidden." Prince Lin Yan shook his head. "Try not to stay close to her. Only those at Golden Core Stage 3 will have a chance to defeat that thing."

The others looked at each other and nodded. Lin Xiao furrowed his eyebrows. "There are demonic cultivator like that?"

"Yes. When you become more powerful naturally you'll be told about this. As of now… you're only Foundation Establishment and facing powerful demonic cultivator, Foundation Establishment is as good as cannon fodder."

Hearing that, Lin Xiao nearly cursed out loudly. For the nth time for the past few days, he was cursed for being weak. He had been improving rapidly under the harsh training of that life and death battle and yet, he was still very weak.
