"What kind of mission is that?" Lin Xiao took the initiative to ask when Prince Lin Yan had finished the registering.

"It's an escorting mission for an important person." Prince Lin Yan paused for a moment. "Your little brother is an alchemist, right?"

The ranking for alchemist was simple as it was just number from 1 to 10. However, each categorize of the number would earn them different title. He had only heard that Lin Yun was now categorized as Alchemist Disciple.

Prince Lin Yan nodded. "The person we're going to escort is someone who's at rank 4. He's already Alchemist Master."

While Lin Xiao only felt that it was nothing more than a title, Prince Lin San was already so shocked that he nearly pissed his pants. What the hell, they were now escorting an alchemist master?

"Bro….Brother, are you sure about that?" Prince Lin San asked.

"Yes."

Prince Lin San's face turned dark. He noticed that the others were looking at him but he refused to say anything until they reached the inn for them to stay for the night. After all, the mission would only start tomorrow.

"Why are you so prickly?" Lin Xiao didn't know what words that could suit Prince Lin San's current condition, so he ended up saying whatever was in his mind.

Princess Lan Yi Hua laughed when she heard what Lin Xiao said and even Xia Ye showed a rare smile.

Prince Lin San rolled his eyes. "I'm saying this for your own good! Even occupations have the minimum cultivation level if they want to reach the ranking. Do you know that to become Alchemist Master, you need to be at least Golden Core Stage 2?"

"Golden Core Stage 2?"

"Why did he even need weak escort then?"

The other three were stunned. Princess Lan Yi Hua had heard that the occupation cultivation master would need some certain rank in their cultivation to even be eligible to take the test…

They have different fighting skill and the current Lin Xiao would have to hone his instinct and skill to the fullest. 

Lin Xiao sighed then beckoned for Xia Ye to come closer. "Come here, I need to help you with your Qi gathering, right?"

Xia Ye felt that the Qi in the world was coming towards him much faster than before. It was as if there was a suction on his back that allowed the Qi to move in accordance.

Rank 7- 9: Grandmaster

Rank 10: Saint

This occupation ranking is used for many different type of occupation. For example, an alchemist at rank 2 will be called as Alchemist Disciple for his formal title. The same will be for other occupations that will be introduced in the future.
