"Are they seriously in their first year?" Prince Lin San muttered. They have only spent at most 10 months in the academy and yet, they were already capable to kill beast rank 4. He felt that the world was truly unfair.

Prince Lin Xian scoffed. "That's because you're the only one who didn't use your advantage fully. If you had chosen to use your power to strengthen your physical body, you wouldn't be left behind like this."

Prince Lin San merely passed a glance at his older brother then shook his head. While the Royal Family had advantage, they could only use it bit by bit to increase their strength. It took years before they could fully use the Dragon Power in their body.

After all, the Heaven is fair and they would not let them be the only one with advantage. Though, the disadvantage of their ability was their inability to perceive the normal runes that was normally used. Instead, they have to use the dragon language, which those with low power would also find it difficult to read.

It didn't take long for them to clean up the rest of the beast rank 3. For them, beast rank 3 was nothing because they could defeat it with just an attack.

"Did it hard for you?" Prince Lin San asked.

Lin Xiao shook his head. "We're good."

"Alright. Let's keep going like this. There are several more small groups like this ahead," Prince Lin Xian said with a smile.

"More? How did you find out so fast?"

"There's a scout ahead that already informed us about the position of beasts from time to time. When you form a group, you need to remember that there are also important positions that you need your members to fill," Prince Lin Xian explained kindly. 

Hearing how these two princes still treated him well, Lin Xiao was a bit perplexed. However, he nodded his head at their advice. Probably they were thinking of him as their junior, thus they chose to help out?

"Fan Ling, you guard first or are you tired?"

They took turns to defeat the beast rank 4 on their journey. While the result might not be that satisfying each time, they also familiarized themselves with the others and learned how to collaborate better after their strength had increased.

Prince Lin San motioned for Lin Xiao to come with him.

Lin Yun followed from behind as he couldn't possibly leave his brother alone. The others also looked in their direction and kept their vigilance. The two groups were only collaborating with each other and might not necessarily be that friendly.

Princess Lan Yi Hua was also looking over with a crease on her forehead. However, Lin Xiao signaled for her to wait because he didn't sense any hostile intention from the two princes. In fact, he had already guessed what they might want to ask him.

'Be careful,' Lin Hu warned.

'I know.'

With a wave of his hand, Prince Lin Xian had already sealed the area with his Qi. It would prevent their voices from leaking out more than the radius there.

"So, Prince Lin Xiao?" Prince Lin San called out.

Lin Xiao was stunned but he kept his expression still. He looked at Prince Lin San and sneered. "What are you talking about? I'm nothing more than a country bumpkin who…"

"No, I checked on you just now and feel that aura that should only belong to a prince or those of Royal Family members." Prince Lin San was calm. He knew that Lin Xiao would deny that, but he had used his ability to check on him and knew that Lin Xiao was surely a prince.

And not only that… the dragon power inside his body was stronger than the four princes who were supposed to be eligible for the throne.

It was then Prince Lin San felt that he realized why Lin Xiao was going against those four princes openly and didn't even mask his intention. As someone who also had the possibility of attaining the throne, Lin Xiao would surely go against them sooner or later.
