《Rise of the Great Emperor 》Chapter 216: Conflict with Sects?

The temperature in the area dropped to several degrees. The disciples who were intending to deal with Luo Lan now shifted their attention to look at Lin Xiao. Their eyes narrowed in clear annoyance.
"What did you say?"
Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows. "Didn't you already hear it? Ever since you destroy Taiyi Sect along with the other three organizations, I don't have any interest to let you off. Of course, I can't kill you with my own hand, but I'm sure that there's someone else who will do my dirty work."
"What are you…"
ROAR!
The sudden pressure on their body made the three young man changed their expression. From the back, a large beast was making his way to them. Earth quake at every steps of the beast as it rushed over in their direction.
Swish!
Lin Xiao moved and patted the three young men's shoulder. Of course, what he did was to put the herbs that he had taken out without them knowing on his hand on their shoulder. When he was inspecting the area, he had noticed that there was a large Stone Armadillo, a beast rank 4, waiting from a distance.
Stone Armadillo might be carnivore, but they also liked certain herbs that only grew in the rocky areas because it smelled similar to their home. There were plenty of such herbs in Lin Xiao's storage, so he just took them out and waited for the Stone Armadillo to react before placing it on the three young men's shoulder.
"What are you doing?"
Swish!
Lin Xiao grabbed Luo Lan's hand and moved away from that position. His brows creased when he sensed that he had used up around half of his Qi reserve.
'Moon Evasion is truly Qi consuming skill.'
Luo Lan was stunned but by now, Stone Armadillo had already arrived by them. Looking at the three people who gave off faint smile, he directly attacked.

"RUN!"
Rip!
The two disciples were instantly ripped to pieces. The third one tried to activate his token, but he died right after the token was destroyed.
"Let's go."
Lin Xiao swiftly led the others to leave. The other three still looked back from time to time with complicated expression. They have already realized that Lin Xiao must have used some kind of method to attract the Stone Armadillo to them.
"You're very cunning," Luo Lan murmured.
Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows. "If I'm not cunning, I wouldn't be able to survive by myself. Now, shall we have another battle, Luo Lan?"
"You're taking me just because you want to fight me?"
"Well, you're taking care of me two years ago. So, shouldn't I return the favor?" Lin Xiao asked with a smile.
"You.."
Punch!
Lin Xiao punched Luo Lan's face then nodded in satisfaction. The current Luo Lan was really not his opponent anymore. However, he still felt this young man annoying, so a punch should do.
Luo Lan wiped the blood in his face then looked at Lin Xiao, who was smiling. He shook his head and sighed, feeling that the bratty brat he saw back then had truly changed. His face turned grim at the thought that Lin Xiao was already capable enough to kill him.
"Will you kill me?"
"You? Not now," Lin Xiao said with a shrug. "My goal is to chase after Wang Luo Sect because of what they did to Taiyi Sect. However, I doubt that you know anything. I'm only helping you out because it's quite beneficial to eliminate Wang Luo Sect from their geniuses."
The three disciples who ambushed Luo Lan were Body Training Stage Rank 10 and also Foundation Establishment.

Lin Xiao only wanted to create small disturbance for the time being before he truly made his move against Wang Luo Sect. But of course, he would need more time to be able to realize that because the leader of Wang Luo Sect was still at half Golden Core Stage.
A puny Body Training Rank 10 cultivator like him wouldn't be able to do anything.
On the back, Sui Wenyan's eyes watered because she understood the reason why Lin Xiao set his eyes on Wang Luo Sect. The destruction of Taiyi Sect back then was done by three small sects and someone else who was controlling at the back. They still didn't know the mastermind, so Lin Xiao could only make his move slowly by interrogating those from the three small sects.
However, it was hard to contend against them by himself.
"Are you ok?" Princess Lan Yi Hua asked.
Sui Wenyan nodded. She looked at Lin Xiao. "Yes. I'm just… touched. He's not enemies of the three sects whatsoever, but because of us… he will make them his enemies."
Princess Lan Yi Hua blinked her eyes at their words. It was clear that she was surprised that Lin Xiao was actually willing to take revenge on behalf of his followers. However, she still didn't know the full story, yet she felt that Lin Xiao was not someone who would do anything recklessly.
"Master."
Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows at the way Sui Wenyan called him. When they're in public, he had told them to not call him that way because it would make him a bit conspicuous. "What it is, Wenyan."
"Thank you."
"Well, I have to face them eventually, didn't I? But of course, I'll let you four be the one to deal the finishing strike and only try to get information from them for now," Lin Xiao said with a smile.
Sui Wenyan nodded. Thinking about Wenren Yu and the other two survivors from Taiyi Sect, she felt happier.
Luo Lan was listening with dumbfounded expression. He looked at Lin Xiao and felt that he had just heard a very heavy information…this… would he be able to stay alive after knowing something like that?
Lin Xiao turned his head to look at Luo Lan. "Do you want to enter the core of the sect?"
"What are you…?"
"Do you want to help me destroy Wang Luo sect?" Lin Xiao asked with a smile.
