Lin Xiao nodded. The four of them separated in front of their rooms. Upon returning back, Lin Xiao's eyes lit up. Time to practice.

Sitting cross legged on his bed, Lin Xiao had been very curious about his own progress. It was known that he didn't have much knowledge regarding the dragon power inside his body, so he wanted to start learning it.

Dragon has always been said to be a very mysterious and mythical creature. They harnessed a different type of power that was comparable to the Qi in the world. While it was also called as Qi there was something that was innately different from it when they studied it.

Dragon power's source came from the world, the Qi, but they would be transformed upon contact. That way, no other creature aside from dragon who would be able to use the power.

At least, from theory. However, eight humans managed to use the power of dragon by being acknowledged by them. This was how the first eight Emperor was born in the first place and how the Dragon Abode which was also known as Dragon Pavilion Hall was built.

It was for future generations who would be acknowledged by the dragons again.

Lin Xiao felt comfortable. He could sense the power that was flowing into his body was different. By tapping onto his soul, he could arouse the Dragon power inside him and used it to circulate along with the normal Qi.

With the two of them, his progress would soar.

Not only that, Lin Xiao made sure that he paid more attention to his legs and absorbed more of the dragon power into his legs. He wanted to be stronger and faster so that he would be able to survive.

There was saying that in front of absolute power, any tricks were useless.

However, Lin Xiao knew that he had to try to strengthen his power. At the very least, against someone who was only a tad stronger than him, he would be able to run when the situation was less favorable to him.

Lin Hu watched from the side with no interest. Other descendant would have their Dragon power limited ever since from birth. The amount of the dragon power would also represent whether they would be able to become the Emperor or not. After all, the increase of power that they could get with the dragon power was limited.

But it was different ever since the Emperor's Inheritance.

The amount of Dragon power that Lin Xiao could use would become unlimited. The maximum limit of human's body would be able to be surpassed by him as long as he continued to work hard.

Dragon didn't become the mythical legend for nothing.

Hours passed and Lin Xiao was still immersed in his training. There was nothing that could seem to disturb him from his concentration in making sure that he could use the dragon power inside his body effectively. But no matter how much time passed, the dragon power inside Lin Xiao's body seemed to be inexhaustible.

Lin Hu also didn't disturb Lin Xiao. When it was small matter, he would gladly tease Lin Xiao and made the young man angry. But when it was serious matter like this, he would wait from the side and not disturb the young man because he understood that it was important for his growth.

Time passed like water.

Lin Xiao didn't know when he had finished his training. But when he opened his eyes, he felt that he was looking at the world with different perspective.

'Lin Hu, how long am I training for?'

'Three days.'

His eyes widened.

'Wait, I can already see the path of the Qi?'

Lin Xiao felt that it was a bit inconceivable. After all, he was only at Body Training Stage, which naturally meant that his senses regarding the Qi of the world wouldn't be that sharp.

The door was opened and Sui Wenyan walked out. She grinned. "You're finally out, Master."

"I was training." Lin Xiao smiled helplessly. For higher cultivators, it was not strange for them to train for days. But right now, Lin Xiao was still at Body Training Stage, so training for three entire days was quite unusual.

Sui Wenyan nodded. Everyone had their own secret and since she was serving Lin Xiao, there was no way she wanted to try prying into his secret. She proceeded to bang the door to wake Lin Yun and Wenren Yu up. 

The two of them came out not long afterwards.

Lin Yun's eyes landed on Lin Xiao. He felt that there was something strange, something that was different from how his brother usually be. However, he couldn't pinpoint what it was.

"Let's go and look around the academy. We also need to know the schedule of our activities for the next months."

"Ah, I have already asked a bit about our schedule." Wenren Yu smiled. He didn't spend the past three days doing nothing. "How about we explore while I explain?"

"Sounds good."
