《Rise of the Great Emperor 》Chapter 82: Rain Stop

Bai Xin was looking at Luo Lan with incredulous expression. Didn't he introduce himself as that woman's student back then?
"What… what are you saying?"
Luo Lan looked at Bai Xin lazily. "It's just as I said. She's not my master and only my senior sister. We're only acting as master and disciple due to stupid request from the sect."
At that answer, Bai Xin found herself unable to say anything more. Wang Luo Sect and Yun Liu Sect were not close to each other. In fact, there were already a lot of veiled attack in the past because the two sects couldn't get into an agreement.
"You…"
"What?"
"You're not worried about your senior sister?"
Luo Lan yawned and lied down. He looked at the sky that was still pouring hard with indifferent expression. "The first rule in Wang Luo Sect is to abandon any feelings whatsoever. You're not allowed to have feelings because feeling is the root of your weakness."
For a moment, Bai Xin couldn't answer anything. Every sect has their own foundation and teaching. What she had learned in Yun Liu Sect was certainly different from Wang Luo Sect. Besides, she had heard that Wang Luo Sect was known to have a lot of ruthless disciples.
After all, their teaching told them to not have unnecessary feelings.
"Oh."
"But we're still allowed to play around. For example, peeping…"
Bang!
"Bastard!"
Soon, fight ensued between the two of them. Liu Gang merely watched from a distance and snorted, unwilling to get involved in these two troublemaker's problem.
…
It took a long time for the rain to stop. And by that time, the lake's size had expanded greatly. However, even though the rain had stopped, the water didn't show any sign of going down.

Just from looking at their surroundings, one would certainly think that they were inside a small island in the middle of the sea rather than a lake.
"It's so vast," Lin Yun murmured.
Wenren Yu was sitting near the entrance and looked out too. He could see the surroundings and sighed internally. The water eventually didn't reach the cave, but it was not far below them. He was pretty sure that these two sibling's old home was already submerged into the water by now.
"Do you want to get out?"
"We need to search for food, don't we?" Lin Yun asked awkwardly. He hadn't eaten anything since yesterday afternoon after Lin Xiao returned back because the meat was limited.
"Lin Xiao."
"What is it?"
"Is there any food in your spatial ring?"
Spatial Ring?
Lin Yun's eyes widened in surprise. But after thinking for a bit, he recalled that there was indeed Spatial Ring that Lin Xiao got from the woman after their fight. Lin Xiao had also told them about that without any intention to hide the treasure.
Opening his eyes, Lin Xiao began to check the Spatial Ring. He nodded. "There's some food. I'll take it out."
Almost instantly, he took out a roasted turkey. Looking at the big turkey meat in front of them, both Wenren Yu and Lin Yun salivated. How long has it been since the last time they had proper and satisfying meal?
The meat in front of them whetted their appetites greatly.
"Are we going to eat it all?"
"Just split it into two. There's not much food inside the Spatial Ring," Lin Xiao replied. He checked the pile of books from the woman's storage. Because he had never been to a sect before, he didn't know much about their rules and regulation. However, he knew that these must be some secret book that the woman brought out.

He only knew Mountain Punch and Moon Evasion so far.
If he could learn other skills, wouldn't it be great?
Taking out the books, he read the name out loud. "Tiger Punch, Cloud Gathering, Yin Cultivation Method, and….Rock Shield?"
"What are those?" Lin Yun asked while chewing on the meat. He could definitely tell that whoever cooked the meat was really good.
On the other hand, Wenren Yu's eyes lit up when he heard what Lin Xiao said. "Those are some basic skills from Yun Liu Sect. Yun Liu is known for their two profound skill called Cloud Gathering and Yin Cultivation Method."
Lin Xiao raised his head. "The two books are here."
"It might be only the first volume, but if you can learn it, it'll be great."
"True."
With that in mind, Lin Xiao opened the Yin Cultivation Method book and read the first sentence. However, he was stumped when he stumbled across the words there.
"Wenren Yu."
"Yes."
"You can't learn this skill."
"Why?"
Lin Xiao smiled bitterly and read out loud. "To learn Yin Cultivation Method, one had to be a woman or if you're a man, you need to become a eunuch…."
