They took some time before they could reach their house. Along the way, Lin Xiao bear with the pain and didn't say anything about it. Even though it was clear that even walking was difficult, Lin Xiao didn't show any trace of that in his face.
He was still walking with a completely straight face.
"You two are back," Wenren Yu greeted and walked out of the house. Upon seeing Lin Xiao, his eyes narrowed. He could see that there was something wrong. "What happened?"
"Brother is injured. Those sect disciples are powerful," Lin Yun simplified the events. "Do we have some medicine for external and internal injury?"
"Yes."
Lin Xiao refused the help and entered his room. They already have a makeshift bed for Wenren Yu in the living room, so Lin Xiao had returned back to his own room. Sitting on the bed, Lin Xiao took off his robe and tossed it to the side.
There were bruises on his back and shoulder, right on the location where Bai Xin threw him back then.
Lin Yun exhaled sharply when he saw the wound on his brother's body. He couldn't believe that Lin Xiao was walking without showing any sign of pain even though the skin had completely changed color.
"There might be broken bones." Wenren Yu's face was grim. He took the medicine salve that they had prepared and helped Lin Xiao to apply it on his back. Even the slight touch was painful.
"That b*tch Bai Xin didn't hold back in the slightest bit," Lin Xiao said. "But don't worry, I'm going to be fine."
"Roll your pants."
"Ugh."
Lin Xiao's right leg reached the ground first when Bai Xin slammed her. As the result, it was completely bruised and there were even marks of discoloration. There might be cracks on his bone.

Wenren Yu furrowed his brows. "How did you walk with this condition?"
"I just walk."
"You need at least a month for full recovery." Calculating Lin Xiao's natural healing's speed that was fast, it was already a good estimation. In fact, Wenren Yu felt that it might be slower because they wouldn't have enough food after a while. The one who hunted all this time was mostly Lin Xiao.
"No need, it'll be faster."
"What are you….?"
Lin Xiao smiled and closed his eyes. He focused his attention to the Qi inside his sea of consciousness and diverted it to his bones and skin at the same time. Rank 6 was the strengthening of skin while rank 7 was the strengthening of bones.
The Qi that he had been accumulating with the help of Primordial Light Night Moss was already more than enough for him to advance to rank 6. All he needed was the trigger that would allow him to advance.
Now was the right time.
Crack!
Looking at Lin Xiao, who chose to advance at this point of time, Wenren Yu felt he was seeing a maniac. With Lin Xiao's current condition, it shouldn't have been possible for him to advance normally. He would need a long period of time to rest and recover before he could finally advance.
However, the reckless Lin Xiao chose to advance at this point of time.
The skin that was completely bruised was healing at naked eyes' speed. It seemed that Lin Xiao would surely heal in just a few more minutes.
"Lin Yun."
"Yes?"
"Your brother is crazy."
Lin Yun rolled his eyes and chose not to comment. When did his brother not crazy? From the very beginning, it was already an unconventional decision for him to not join the hunting squad despite the luxury and benefit that they could obtain.

Not to mention, his brother was still adamant to not join any other sect even though Taiyi Sect was no more.
The Qi in the air slowly moved towards Lin Xiao and entered his body. It was supporting him as he entered body training rank 6. At this point of time, not a single one of them noticed as they were focused completely on Lin Xiao, who recklessly advanced at this point of time.
Opening his eyes, Lin Xiao grinned. "I'm already feeling much better, so I…."
"REST!"
"I'm fine already!"
Lin Yun rolled his eyes. "It doesn't mean that your bones are fine. Have rest today, I'm the one who will cook."
"I'll take the water."
"Be careful and don't let anyone see you, Wenren Yu."
"I know."
Taking the buckets to pick water, Wenren Yu walked out of the house. Staying with Lin Xiao and Lin Yun all this time allowed him to relax and focused on his training. With the help of so many valuable herbs that Lin Xiao gathered over time, Wenren Yu knew that he would be able to advance faster again.
In the past, he would not care that much about the time he took to advance a rank. But after Taiyi Sect fell, he knew that he wanted to advance faster and find out what had exactly happened to the sect.
Without getting stronger, he wouldn't be able to fight against those who destroyed the sect.
Now that he saw that Lin Xiao was getting wounded due to other sects, somehow Wenren Yu felt that he needed to grow even faster. Time wait for no one. They had to move forward even faster.
'If only there are a lot of valuable herbs nearby….'
He knew many recipes to create miracle herbs that would help one to advance faster. Unfortunately, he didn't have any means to gather the materials needed and his own rank were not enough to allow him made them.
