《My Unconventional Delivery System! 》Chapter 176: Fujiwara Chika

Rin PoV-
When I first stepped inside my new school, my first thoughts were: "It's lively."
I have never seen many humans close to my age. I was nervous yet excited at the same time, while others think of this as a common scene. To me, who was alone for the last 10 years, this scene was precious to me.
It took me a few minutes to stop looking at the crowd of students. "Ah, what am I doing! I have to go look for the teachers' office!"
Immediately, I started looking for the teachers' office and it didn't take me long to find it, since there was a map inside the school building after I found the school office, I went inside but of course, I didn't forget to say knock before coming in.
Now that I was inside the room, one of the teachers asked what am I doing in here, so I gave him the form that I'm supposed to give.
"Ah, you're that transfer student that the principal was talking about...still you're pretty amazing to pass the transfer examination in our school! I heard it was almost impossible to pass it, since you passed it you must be really smart!" The teacher was genuinely praising her because the examination for transferring to this school was extremely hard, even someone with a college degree would have a hard time passing the examination.
I smiled at the teacher's praise and replied. "Well, the exam was quite hard but it wasn't that difficult, I think anyone could pass it."
Hearing her answer, the teacher couldn't help but smile wryly, from her tone, he couldn't sense any sarcasm in it, and that makes it really difficult for him to say something bad toward her, after all, her tone sounds genuine!
Then the teacher wondered if the examination for transferring isn't as hard as he thought, however, that was impossible because there are hundreds of attempts of a student transferring in their school, but no more than 1% passed!

And 0.80% of that 1% used their connection to pass the examination, so basically, only 0.20% amongst that hundreds of students that took the exam could truly pass, and the teacher know that Rin was part of that 0.20% because there is a different stamp of those who used their connection and who truly passed the examination.
The teacher gave a fake cough to avoid awkwardness. "Cough* Anyway, I'll assign you, 2-B Class, follow me and I'll guide you there."
Hearing that, I bowed with a smile and replied, "Thank you!"
"H-hey you don't need to thank me, it's my job." The teacher coughed embarrassedly, this was the first time a student thanked him for guiding them since most of the students don't really thank him, since most of the students in this school are people with a rich background and their pride not small, so thanking him who is a commoner without any background was something that they refused to do.
"Even so, I have to thank sensei for this."
"Sheesh, do whatever you want."
It wasn't noticeable, but I definitely saw the teacher smiling a little, then I thought. 'Did my words make him happy perhaps?'
It also made me happy.
---
I finally arrived at class 2-B along with the teacher that guided me, then we went inside the classroom and suddenly everyone stopped whatever they were doing and stood up, then they greeted the teacher that guided me here.
"Good morning sensei!" Said everyone in the class.
"Good morning too class, okay now you can all sit down."
I was surprised by this, I thought the teacher was just my guide but, it seems that he would be my adviser for this year, then he looked at me with a smile and said, "Surprised?"

I nodded, then after that, he started introducing me to them.
"Everyone, may I have your attention?" As the teacher said that, everyone's attention was now on him, after he had gotten their attention, he continued.
"Today, we're going to have a new student joining us, she's a transferee, so be nice to her, now please introduce yourself." He said.
Now everyone's attention was on me, and honestly to say it was nerve-wracking, but more than that my desire to be known by them won, so the nervousness from before is nothing more than a joke, then she said.
"Hello, everyone I'm Kobayashi Rin, I don't know anyone here yet, but hopefully you guys can be my friends, please take care of me thank you!" I bowed, then they started clapping for a reason, but regardless I'm happy because their reaction wasn't anything negative.
My new homeroom teacher guided me to my table, which I would probably use for the rest of the school year. I went to my table to take a seat, and after I did the class started immediately.
"Alright, class let's continue, let's continue the topic yesterday, take your books out." Then their adviser started explaining the topic. I was at a loss, although I know the subject is history, I just don't know which page is it!
Meanwhile, the student right next time noticed that I was at a loss, then that student pokes my shoulders, and showed me which page of the book they are currently, knowing that she was helping me, I became grateful and said.
"Thank you..!"
After I thanked her, she gave me a big smile and replied. "You're welcome!"
I was glad that my deskmate is a good person.
Time passed, it was break time, finally, I had time to thank her, then I stood up from my table and bowed slightly at her.
"Thank you for that!"
She shifted her attention toward me, and she replied cheerfully. "It was nothing!"
"Alright, umm...I'm K-kobayashi Rin, do you want to be friends?" I asked her nervously.
"I'm Fujiwara Chika! Sure! Let's be friends!"
I was very happy to hear her reply. She became my first friend in school and that was the start of our wonderful friendship with Fujiwara-san.

At Kyle's school,
He was currently observing Rin from his classroom, he definitely wasn't stalking her, he was just worried about her safety, after all, it's the first time that she went alone outside his house, as a person he sees as a family, there is no way that he would allow anyone to hurt her.
After checking that she was fine, he finally could rest in peace, right now he was listening to his teacher's lecture, though it was kind of pointless to him honestly, aside from that what bothers him the most right now, is the fact that Kyōka is avoiding him.
Lately, he became conscious of her, either way, he knows the reason why she was avoiding him, it's because of what happened at the school festival.
"She's feeling mad because I refused to be her fiance…"
He knew that he had to do something about this, he didn't want their relationship to be so awkward because of that, however, he didn't know that she was avoiding him for another reason other than refusing to be her fiance.
It was because she lost some of her confidence when Chō almost defeated Kyle in the sports festival.

Eulisses Malinor is a prodigious and somewhat reclusive wizard with an unconventional outlook on life itself. The latter may or may not be related to him shedding the burdens of mortality some time ago. He claims that every wizard that takes pride in themself needs to reside in a tower in the middle of nowhere. It definitely has nothing to do with the Addia fanatics that continue to seek him out. Successfuly, much to his discontent. Ever out to ‘cleanse’ him, or bloody murder him if you'd ask the lich himself. But soon, that will no longer be a problem, as Eulisses has finally gathered every reagent - magical or otherwise he needs. He will tear open and stabilize a miniature Rift, essentially creating his very-own pocket realm in which even Addia’s gaze will no longer be able to reach him. Everything has been carefully planned out in advance, so there is no possibility of failure. You can maybe then imagine his bafflement, when instead of the nothingness of his successfully created pocket realm, Eulisses finds himself in a quite holy looking hall, amidst quite too-baffled looking fellows, in the centre of a gigantic summoning circle - allegedly, he cannot read the runes that make it up - and facing a young and quite fair maiden that stares at him quite wide-eyed.
