"Y-you'll help me?"
"Yeah." He nodded.
"Truly?"
"Truly." Kyle stared at her with a serious expression, then unexpectedly Elma started to cry loudly.
"Uwaaa!!! Sniff* uwaaa!!"
"H-hey! Are you okay? Why did you suddenly cry?!" He thought. 'What the hell! Did I secretly become an expert at making somebody cry?'
"S-sorry sniff* it's just been so hard for me since I arrived at this world...I can't remember anything. I don't know anyone...I was always alone sniff* I was lucky to find this old apartment or else I would have been in the streets sleeping…" Tears keep pouring out of her eyes.
He frowned as he heard her, he couldn't help but say. "Wait a minute, aren't you supposed to be a strong supernatural being? Why can't you use something like magic to have a better life?"
"Umm...h-how am I supposed to do that? I forgot everything except how to disguise myself as a human…"
"Everything? Really? Sorry, I know this isn't the right moment to ask this but...what kind of being are you?" Of course, he knows that she's a dragon, but he asked so that she wouldn't get suspicious.
"A dragon…"
"A dragon? That's cool, but how did you remember that you are one?"
"My instincts told me that I am one." Elma honestly told him, she wasn't a bit suspicious of him, she never thought of that to her Kyle is a good person that promised to help her, she became naive as she lost her memory.
If it was another person who did the same thing as him, who knows what would happen to her because in her current situation she would easily trust anyone as long as they are nice to her. Kyle was aware of this, that's why he is more determined to help her, he couldn't just leave this naive dragon behind.

"Your instincts told you?"
Elma nodded.
"Then can you transform into your dragon form?"
"Yes, I can."
"So, why aren't you using it to threaten humans to give you anything you want?" He was just testing her, he wasn't really giving her an idea to do evil stuff, okay maybe he did.
"N-no! I won't do that!"
"Why?" He was honestly curious.
"B-because I like humans, I bear to do something like that to humans. I rather follow the rules and earn whatever I want legally." Unlike Tohru who had a deep hatred toward humans. Elma, on the other hand, was the opposite; she likes humans because back in her world humans worship her and treats her like a God.
He couldn't help but smile after hearing her sentence, he replied. "Alright, that's it you passed my little test so I'll help you for real."
"E-ehhhhh?! So you weren't going to help me before?!" Elma was shocked by his words.
"Pfft- haha of course I would, because I owe you one after all.. honestly if you agreed with my suggestion. I would still help you, however, just once because I wouldn't want to help a bad dragon that threatens my race no?"
"W-well if you put it that way...I guess you have a point.." Elma agreed because it was reasonable.
"Right? Anyway, so tell me honestly when did you last have your fill?"
"Ummm….a..a few days ago?" It was actually a week already, if she wasn't a dragon she would have died already.
Hearing that, he immediately stood up from the floor, without permission he held her hand dragging her along with him outside before Elma could say anything he said.
"That won't do! I'll bring you to a restaurant so that you can eat!"

"Wait! Wait! Ehhh!" Kyle failed to realize that Elma's face was blushing, it wasn't strange considering this is the first time someone's who is opposite of her sex held her hand, at least from what she could remember, since she couldn't remember anything this is considered as her first, anyway this is almost too much for her!
---
At the nearest restaurant,
Both Kyle and Elma were currently looking at an empty table, before going inside he reminded her to disguise herself so people wouldn't look at her strangely because they will think that she's wearing a tribal cosplay in the middle of the night, no one would think that she's a dragon because it's the modern era. People are getting smarter (that's a lie) they wouldn't just believe that her tail and horn are real.
He told her to disguise herself wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans along with black sneakers, of course at first doesn't know what those clothes were, but with the smartphone and google-san, everything went smoothly.
She used her scales to create the said outfit. This was just temporary since he would buy her clothes later.
As they got inside the restaurant, people were looking in their direction. Elma was sensitive to such thing, because of that she became nervous, she thought that they found out that she's a dragon and not a human, however, in reality, they were looking at her because of how beautiful she is, they were in awe many men were especially looking at her breast because they are huge, though they are nothing compared to Quetzalcoatl.
Due to this misunderstanding, she couldn't help but grabbed Kyle's clothes, knowing that she did, he couldn't help but look at her and asked. "What's wrong?"
"I-i think they know that I'm not a human!"
"Huh? Why would you think so?" He replied with a confused expression.
"B-because! They were all looking at me! They must know that I'm a dragon and not a human!" Elma said with an anxious expression.
Listening to that, he looked around them and immediately understood why, because of it he couldn't help but laugh. "Hahahahaha!"
"W-why are you laughing?! She glared at him with a teary expression.
"Hahaha, I'm sorry it's just so funny.."
"What's so funny about it?!" Elma felt betrayed.
"Haha, yeah don't worry about it they don't know that you're a dragon."
"Then why are they all looking at me like that?!" She exclaimed.
"Do you want to know?"
"Yes!"
"You're beautiful."
"Wha?! W-w-w-what are you saying?! You're changing the subject!" Elma's face was burning, she didn't expect him to say that she's beautiful, her heart thumped faster than usual.
"Hm? No, I'm not changing the subject you are beautiful that's why they are looking at you! Why do you think that I'm changing the subject?" He gave her a grin.
"Y-y-you! I hate you! Hmph! I'll ignore you!" She pouted at him with a teary expression.
Seeing this, he felt like a cupid hit his heart he shouted in his mind. 'CUTE! F*CKING SO CUTE! NOW I CAN'T RESIST TEASING HER!'
After that, he teased her a few times.

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.
