Kyle tried to decipher that it was extremely soon for them to get wedded, honesty he wasn't against marrying her, and to be honest, however, think again they hardly had any intercourse.

Yesterday Kyle told some about himself to her, and Esdeath also told him about herself, her adventures, her hobbies, her likes, and dislikes.

Since he couldn't stop it, he just let it be though Esdeath had a point, she had been waiting for this moment for 7 years, he could only imagine how bad she'd been waiting for the day they would get married.

After knowing that Kyle was Esdeath's husband to be his ranks in the Imperial army skyrocketed, although it was pretty useless for him in the first place, the reason why he joined them was to look for Esdeath without getting in trouble, but he didn't expect that before he could even start Esdeath found him instead.

Sometimes plans never happened, so anyway since the day of their reunion, Esdeath never left his side, as she was very afraid that he might leave her again.

Naturally, he accepted the emperor invitation, because he was interested of how the child emperor appearance, this was reality, not fictional like in his previous, for example, Esdeath the way the animators portrayed her is simply too lacking she was much more refined and beautiful the image of her in his past life had in his past life doesn't give her enough justice!

If her image from his was beautiful enough to make you feel dominated, but in this world she is beautiful enough to the degree that any man would dive right into her, if it weren't for her current prestige there is no doubt that many men would do so, but no one wished to lost their lives so they controlled urge of doing so.

After accepting the emperor's invitation, the Imperial guards guided him to the throne hall so that he could meet the emperor, although the guard's guidance was unnecessary since Esdeath knows the way after all she had been here numerous times already.

Entering the throne room, he was quite amazed at the details of the hall. It was brilliant, his sights slowly dropped into the small figure that was sitting on the throne. It was a child sitting in a cross-legged position.

He was flabbergasted of what he is witnessing right now, it wasn't because of the child on the throne sitting on a position that isn't meant for royalty, but because the emperor- is a she!

The emperor- no the empress instead! He thought. 'What the hell is happening? This isn't the Akame ga kill that I know of! How come the Emperor is a she? Instead of a ?'

Noticing his surprise Esdeath asked. "What's wrong?"

He glanced at Esdeath and whispered. "I thought the Emperor was a he! How come it's she instead?"

"Oh? You can tell that the Emperor is a she?" 

"How could I not?! Isn't that too obvious?"

"Most people couldn't tell, look she was disguised as a male from birth so that she could succeed the throne " She pointed at the Emperor.

"Is it because a female isn't allowed to become the Emperor?" He remembered those dramas that he usually sees on TV.

"That's right, you're pretty knowledgeable about this." 

"Haha, it's a common cliché on some kingdom drama."

"Cliché? Drama?"

"It's better if you don't know." While they were whispering with each other, the Emperor or the Empress was annoyed seeing them ignoring her presence, while the guards and officials could only smile wryly at their 'affectionate' conversation.

However, they, couldn't do anything, because it's Esdeath, over the years she gains a  reputation for killing officials if they piss her off, they couldn't do anything to Esdeath as long as she doesn't kill the emperor she could do anything, so that's why they are afraid of offending her.

The Empress couldn't stand it anymore, she coughs cutely. "Ahem-!"

With that she got the attention of Esdeath and Kyle, glaring at them for a moment before saying. "So are you guys done talking?"

Both of them almost forgot that they were in the presence of the Empress, they were too focused on their conversation.

Esdeath did a half-kneeling position and said. "Forgive us, emperor, you can punish me as you please but my beloved should be excluded from the punishment!"

"Stand up, it's fine I'm just a bit annoyed that you guys are ignoring me." She raised her hand, she wouldn't just punish anyone for that silly reason.

Esdeath stood up from the ground, she smiled at the Empress, she knew that the Empress wouldn't punish her, they were quite close, in private the Empress would call Esdeath, Onee-sama because she simply admired how strong and cool Esdeath is she wanted to be like her, a strong woman, however yesterday she heard a piece of shocking news that her Onee-sama had a spouse!

She couldn't believe that her Onee-sama had a man?! She had to see that man! She wanted to see the man that made her Onee-sama fall in love, she wanted to see what's so special about this man.

Her eyes were evaluating Kyle looking for something special about this person, but so far she couldn't see what's so good about this man, although she could be categorized as a bit handsome but that's it!

She couldn't really see how her Onee-sama fell for this guy, after a moment of evaluation she finally decided to say. "Esdeath's groom, I welcome you to my throne room, now let's talk about why I called you here."
