Esdeath was expectantly waiting for his response, a minute later there was only silence no one answered her call at all!

At this moment, Esdeath's emotions were very chaotic, she couldn't even control her ice ability anymore, the temperature was crazily dropping, the people inside the building are now shivering due to Esdeath's ability.

Esdeath didn't immediately turn her head toward the voice location, she was afraid that it was just her hallucinations, but after for a moment she finally turned around and then she saw the person that she has always been wanting to meet for the last 7 years, the only man that she admired, the only man that she respected and above all he's the only man that she loved, the man that she vowed to marry no matter what it takes.

At this moment, the cold beautiful general cried, no one in the entire empire would expect that this cold-blooded woman is capable of crying.

The Imperial police inside the HQ were shocked to see this unbelievable scene that is currently happening at this moment, heck even a man getting pregnant is not as shocking as Esdeath crying!

She stared at the only man she loved with a teary expression, if you expect that she would jump right into him to hug him or some similar cliché actions that you would often see in some drama after meeting a person you love... then you're wrong because…! She is Esdeath!

"You can't run from me this time! I will lock you up in my room so that you wouldn't leave me like you did last time!"

A while ago, Kyle was talking with Seryu about what she usually does, and of course, he didn't forget to ask for information about the empire, mainly about Esdeath.

Seryu didn't suspect him to have a malicious intention because it was quite a common topic amongst the imperial police to talk about their general and what is happening around the empire, no one wanted to be left out after all.

"Kyle! Please show yourself if you are here!"

Seryu glanced at him and said. "She's calling for you since I don't think that there is another person who is named Kyle in the Imperial police unit other than you."

"You don't need to remind me! I'm not deaf... but still this voice is somewhat familiar…" 

"From what I could tell, the woman voice was desperate while calling you, perhaps it's a person that you had a one night stand with and you accidentally got her pregnant and that's why she's here so that you could take responsibil-"

"Stop, stop! Your imagination is running wild! None of it is true! Anyway, I'll go downstairs to check out." He immediately went downstairs.

After arriving downstairs, he saw Esdeath although he somewhat expected this, he was surprised to see her, he thought. 'I was supposed to be the one that should have been looking for her, however, she did it instead. I mean how did she even find me? Wait is it because of that Imperial guard? If so then should I be thankful? Since It made my job easier.'

"Esdeath?"

After saying that Esdeath's body seemed to stop moving, and it took her a while to look at him.

Seeing her front appearance, he was blown away by how beautiful she became! Though he already imagined what she would have looked like after she became an adult, the image of the adult Esdeath inside his mind before is an insult compared to reality.

Although he rarely compares others' appearance, her beauty is definitely on par with Tohru and Quetzalcoatl!

While he was thinking about her changes, unexpectedly Esdeath cried, like she was literally tearing up!

This was something close to impossible, but the impossible somehow happened! Aside from that, seeing her like this is painful to see, though he doesn't have the right to think about this but, he doesn't want to see her like this, though it's his fault that she cried anyway.

Right now, he wanted to hug her tightly and ask her to stop crying, as he was about to do so, however her next action made him almost trip.

She created a bunch of ice chains, using her ability to make ice and then saying. "You can't run from me this time! I will lock you up in my room so that you wouldn't leave me like you did last time!" 

Hearing this he couldn't help but smile forcefully, he thought. 'Even though I somewhat interfered with her character development, I guess Esdeath is still Esdeath.'

Instead of saying something unnecessary, he approached her even though it's a bit cold to get near her, but not really a normal person would have turned into an ice sculpture by now, but it wasn't the same case for him.

He suddenly started to pat Esdeath's head, he smiled at her and said. "Don't worry, it wouldn't be the same as the last time I won't go anyway."

Unlike when he patted Tuka, it wasn't awkward patting Esdeath at all, she's just a bit older than him, unlike Tohru who is a few times older than him.

He thought. 'Now I think about it... isn't Kanna older than Tuka?'

Surprised by the unexpected action of Kyle, however, it wasn't bad she liked feeling his warm hand, she didn't stop him from patting her, however, she didn't dare to close her eyes because she was afraid if she blinked even for a moment, he would again disappear.

For the first time, he was pretty accurate in reading someone's expression as he could tell what Esdeath was thinking, he said.

"No, need to worry I won't disappear, so you don't have to make a tense expression, and also take this." He took the ring from his space inventory and gave it to her.

After getting that engagement ring from Kyle, Esdeath couldn't control her emotions anymore, but the happiness she felt was immeasurable as she looked at this engagement ring that her beloved gave her, she couldn't describe how happy she is at the moment.

Esdeath suddenly kissed him on the lips, this is the only thing that she could do to express her feelings.

First, their general was looking for someone named Kyle.

Second, they got to know that the person named Kyle and their general are probably a couple!

Third, their general lover proposed to her, and their general kissed this Kyle person, which proves that they are lovers!
