Kyle, still spellbound, kept staring at Quetzalcoatl's eyes, fascinated by their heterochromatic lustre; thus, not being able to hear the words spoken to him.

"Kyle? Hey? Are you listening!?" Inquired Hina, noticing that her nephew wasn't paying attention, her words were the anchor, which brought Kyle back to the realm of reality, breaking his fascination induced trance.

"Ah, sorry I dozed off for a moment, so what's up?" 

"Ara~? Did you perhaps fall in love with me?" Quetzalcoatl teased, gazing at Kyle with unobstructed amusement and interest, meanwhile Tohru, hearing her words, feeling a bit peeved, looked at Kyle with a 'Is it true?!' expression.

Her teasing caught Kyle off guard, he never thought of this possibility, of her teasing him so bluntly in front of everyone. If he were to deny her claim now, this issue would be over, or maybe not, since he could sense the intent of mischief permeating from Lucoa's expressions. Hence, not willing to let this issue be directed by doubts and destiny, he tried something new, effectively directing this situation to a path of his own choosing. 

Kyle's body language changed in an instant, his expression turning frisky, as he winked at Lucoa and directed a knowing smile at her while flirting openly. "Yeah? So what if I am, Lucoa-san?"

"Kyle?! What are you saying?!" Hina shouted, disbelief apparent in her expression, Kyle flirting with someone, that too a stranger no less, was not something she ever imagined to be possible.

Kyle, not paying attention to his aunt's words, for the time being, approached Lucoa, staring intently at her half lidded eyes, as if he could gaze into them unobstructed by her eyelids, his expression was still flirtatious as he gazed at Lucoa. Quatzecoatl herself never expected for Kyle to counter her teasing, at least by the description Tohru gave her, he shouldn't be like this. If only she knew that Kyle was simply acting, she wouldn't have gotten surprised. Still, she couldn't help but smile, her interest in Kyle increasing with every passing moment. "Ara~ Ara~ what should I do?~"

"Haha, okay okay I give up you win." Kyle surrendered, chuckling, as he knew he just couldn't win against her, a seasoned veteran in the teasing department. He understood that he wasn't built for teasing like her, at least he couldn't tease and flirt with strangers like Lucoa could, even if most of the time she did for amusement, rather than interest and intimate intentions. 

Besides, Kyle remembered that Tohru was here. He was afraid that she would again react violently like she did with Mehru, hence he hurriedly looked towards her direction to clarify his actions. What greeted his sight however, was something he never imagined even in his wildest dreams. She was smiling at him… it wasn't the same soul shivering, scary smile he was used to in this situation, but one of encouragement.. as if motivating him to keep on flirting with Lucoa.

This was, truly, an unexpected twist, Tohru, somehow changed. If it were before, she would've been extremely jealous if a woman other than Kanna and Hina, would get closer to him, he didn't even want to know what would've happened if it were the other way around, most probably another extinction episode like Meru's, now however, she didn't seem to mind?

The change was so sudden and so huge that he was having trouble believing it, then it clicked. 'Was it because of what happened in Meru's apartment?'

That seemed to be the most obvious and believable pretext for this outcome, it was obvious how afraid Tohru was of being hated by him, it was the scariest thing for her; her reaction during that little episode was proof enough. To Tohru, being hated by the one person she loved most in the world was… mortifying, not unlike, her world crumbling in front of her, of losing her will to live on. Kyle was her everything and without him, dying appeared to be a better prospect.

"Too bad then, we were just having fun, but you gave up, anyway let me introduce myself again, I am Quetzalcoatl, but you can call me Lucoa." She spoke, closing her eyes completely as she did so, it was a habit of hers, of her eyes being closed rather than remaining opened like it usually was for most beings, she didn't need them to see anyways, so there was no problem for her even if she never opened them.

"Then nice to meet you Lucoa, my name is Kobayashi Kyle, sorry but I'd like to ask you something, it's a bit of a.. personal question of sorts, if you don't want to answer it then I'll understand."

"I'll think about it, it depends on your question, so ask away." 

"Then, are you a goddess?"

"Ara~? So you really did fall in love with me?" She teased again, but this time the intensity wasn't the same as before, being far weaker.

"No, I didn't mean it in terms of aesthetics, what I meant is, you being a real goddess." The question was a dumb thing to ask, he knew it too, he could pretty much feel her aura of 'Divinity' radiating from miles away, if he concentrated, being close to her, he was practically being washed in her aura. But, there was a slight problem in her aura, something he couldn't pinpoint accurately, like her aura wasn't pure? Regardless, he still wanted to confirm it by her own words, rather than speculating it by himself.

(A/N : Lucoa was an Ex goddess in the original series, but even so it was just a position and it didn't change the fact that she's an existence with 'Divinity'. Though how she lost her position was just hilarious to say the least.)

Both of her eyes opened abruptly, as they gazed on Kyle's own red eyes intently, seconds trickled by before she responded, her tone mocking, as if he was asking the obvious. "Can't you see it already? Why are you asking such pointless question?"

Kyle didn't mind her words, ultimately she was right, and he didn't mind her slightly mocking tone because he knew she didn't mean to ridicule him, so he replied to her, telling her his logic behind asking such a rhetorical question. "I just wanted to confirm because you're the first God that I've encountered, I just wanted to make sure that I'm not imagining things."

Closing her eyes again, she tilted her head, responding in a slightly amused tone. "Your words make sense and don't at the same time, you know you're pretty weird."

"What? How come?" He was surprised, pondering why she thought as such. 'Which part of me is weird? Oh wait is it my damn eyes, again?'

Quetzalcoatl continued, answering his questions. "I didn't mean your appearance or anything like that, what's weird is that even though you're a God you're pretty reasonable and kind of polite."

Confused by her words, he insisted her to elaborate. "Isn't that normal? What's weird with that?"

"That's exactly the reason why you're weird, well you see ever since I have arrived in this world I have met several gods and each one of them is like you a minor God." Seeing that Kyle was about to say something, she stopped him and continued.

"Now I'll tell you why I called you weird, you see the majority of the gods I've seen in this world are males, and each everyone of them are arrogant, so much so that they thought that they could do anything and obtain everything they wished for, to tell you the truth the first God I met was a male and I thought as a goddess of another world, I'd like to ask some questions about this world, learning more about it, but that God kept looking at my body with lust, finally that fool said 'You have a very beautiful face and body, now be my wife!' I was of course surprised and I knew he wasn't joking so I naturally refused in a polite way, you see, I don't like conflicts."

"However, that fool got angry and said 'How dare you refuse me?! It was already a blessing for you to become my wife?! Yet you rejected me? Do you have any idea how many women wanted this Divine body of mine?! How dare you embarrass me! You're courting death!' I was dumbfounded to say the least, I even thought that this person has a few loose screws in his head, I mean how can anyone be so unreasonable? Again I didn't like conflicts and troublesome things so I decided to leave quietly, but then the fool shouted 'You dare to run away?!' and started attacking me with cringy technique names like Heaven Shattering Dragon Fist! Or something like that, I don't even know why he was blurting out his techniques in the open, isn't that stupid? Anyone would be able to counterattack if he declared before attacking, but since he attacked first.."

"Naturally I had to fight back, and guess what? Even though his techniques were flashy and sounded powerful, it was actually ridiculously weak, I only needed a single finger to counter it, then I attacked him with a magic missile and again guess what? His body was so weak! So much so that my meager magic attack made a hole in his stomach almost killing him, after knowing that I'm powerful the buffoon begged me to let him live saying 'Forgive me! I had eyes but failed to see Mount Tai... or some crap! Please let me live!''

"So I decided to give him a chance, but then after a few days I saw that useless god again with a group of idiots coming along with him, he proudly said 'A few days ago you humiliated me! Now I've come to take my revenge!' I was so pissed at that time and ended up killing the fool and the idiots along with him, after that similar things continued happening and I just killed them without hesitation, I figured that talking with such people was a waste of time, so why not just obliterate them, before they could annoy me further. These were just some examples of the gods of your world."

Hearing her story, for the third time today, Kyle became speechless, no words left his lips as he kept staring at Lucoa. Inwardly he pondered. 'Why does it sound like those brainless young masters from Xianxia?' 

He needed to clarify his doubts so he asked. "Were you perhaps in China at that time?"

"That's right, how did you know?"

"...I just know." Kyle responded tiredly. 

Both were talking about sensitive and secretive information about Gods and such, totally forgetting that they weren't alone, Hina had heard everything they were talking about from start to finish; she became frozen from the shock she felt when she heard that her nephew was actually a God, processing those words and digesting them, she slowly returned to the realm of reality and as soon as she did, she shouted loudly.  "WAIT WAIT! LUCOA-SAN WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT MY KYLE IS A GOD?!"
