《My Unconventional Delivery System! 》Chapter 27: 3rd Delivery~
Advertisement
Kyle was currently at his classroom, listening to his teacher's lessons. It's been a whole week since his last delivery, if he had to be honest, he was kind of expectant for the next delivery. A new change this week probably was Kyōka's somewhat changed attitude whenever she was interacting with him.
He wouldn't really call it a bad progress, but it was still a bit surprising that she wasn't acting as aggressive as before, this was unlike her original character, she was comparably gentler with him. He didn't know about the others but she was getting really close to him.
Not like he minded it though, whatever happened happened, so the last subject ended, it was time for his shift as a delivery guy in MgRonald's.
In the middle of delivering an order his system finally made a sound after being silent for a whole week.
[ Ding! Ding! Another takeaway order request has arrived from the World of Demon Slayer! Will you accept the takeaway order? ]
He immediately stopped his motorcycle, yes motorcycle, you didn't read it wrong. Just a day ago, he bought the latest motorcycle of the Yamaha brand.
It definitely wasn't cheap, but it was totally worth it because it saved him a lot more time than before.
Seeing the floating screen in front of him, he thought. 'Demon Slayer? If I remember correctly it was that Anime series that was equally dangerous as Akame Ga Kill... though mostly what I remember about is the toxic fandom of that anime.. anyway another dangerous world huh... whatever, I feel quite lucky already that this wasn't a very dangerous world like HS DxD or Death Note..'
He suddenly thought of something and couldn't help but ask the system. "Hey, system speaking of Death Note am I going to die if my name is written on the Death Note? Or am I excluded because I'm not originally from that world."
[ Yes, Host you'll die if your name is written on that Notebook. ]
Kyle smiled bitterly as he had already expected this but he asked again to make preparations if he ever had to go to that world. "Is there a way to counter it? Like not dying even if your name is written."
[ There are plenty of ways, but the most simple one is gaining a divinity as it could repel the death energy coming from the Death Note. ]
"I see, then how do I gain divinity?"
The system answered without hesitation. [ Through delivering. ]

"No, no the other way."
[ Taking takeaway orde- ]
"Okay forget it! I'll deliver this order from MgRonald's before accepting the takeaway then." He immediately started his motorcycle, twisting the handle and drove towards the location of the person who ordered it at a fast speed.
..
..
..
After finishing his job, Kyle accepted the system delivery order.
[ You have accepted the takeaway order! ]
[ Requirements - first aid kit, 2 cups of ramen. ]
He touched his chin and pondered, this was the first delivery order that needed him to deliver something other than food, what more it was a first aid kit, he made a guess that the person who ordered this time was either injured or...
Kyle shook his head and immediately headed to the nearest pharmacy shop, after arriving he asked for an employee where the first aid section was located.
Then the employee of the pharmacy asked what type of first aid kit he needed, that question made him a bit taken aback, for someone who had almost zero medical knowledge, he had no idea that there were different kinds of first aid kit.
He thought. 'Screw it!'
He bought all kinds of first aid kits available in the shop and secretly put them inside his space inventory after exiting the shop and hiding in an inconspicuous alleyway, afterwards he went to the nearest 7/11 to buy 2 cups of ramen, he figured that person might also need some drinks, even if they didn't it'd surely come in handy in his future deliveries. He needed to be prepared.
Hence, he bought all kinds of drinks, each a pair, and naturally that included beer and liquor in the shop.
If it was a week ago he wouldn't have fulfilled these requirements because the first aid kit was pretty expensive.
Though it depended on the type and size, after everything was complete, he could finally start. "System, I'm ready."
[ Drive your motorcycle straight at full speed, after traveling exactly 50 meters you'll be teleported to your destination! ]
Brroooomm~!
Kyle drove straight without waiting for anyone, at exactly 100 meters in front of him there was a Phantom Rolls-Royce, a pretty common car for someone influential and rich to have, it was moving with a moderate speed towards him.
However he didn't stop driving because it would cancel the teleportation, he didn't want to discover what would happen after it was cancelled!
Kyle drove his motorcycle at full speed, the motorcycle making roaring sounds, if someone were to do exactly the same as him, they would be called suicidal since he was going straight for the car, but it wasn't the same for Kyle, after all he didn't do this without reason!

Both the Phantom Rolls-Royce and his motorcycle were getting closer by the second, the driver of the Phantom Rolls-Royce noticed that Kyle had no intention to stop and the driver immediately pushed the brakes!
( Car Brakes Forcefully Stopping Sound )
Kyle's motorcycle was about to hit the Phantom Rolls-Royce, but he had already fulfilled the 50 meter condition and got instantly sucked into the teleportation hole.
Leaving the driver of the Phantom Rolls-Royce and 2 other people who were inside the car in stupor.
A female teenager with blonde hair wearing a French maid outfit was in a panic. "K-kaguya-sama! Was that a g-ghost?! Eh-?! Kaguya-sama fainted!!!"
..
..
..
Inside the MgRonald's Kitchen :-
Maou again felt the familiar spatial magic made by the system, he stopped his work for a bit and murmured. "This is the third time already…"
He continued frying fries, while seriously considering investigating it again or not…. After all he didn't want his time to be wasted for nothing again.
..
..
..
Kyle appeared in a forest just near a city, he could see that the houses nearby were using lanterns or candles rather than electricity.
He felt like he travelled through time and went back into the past, that was the vibe the current world he travelled to was giving him, though he didn't know that he had really time travelled.
Kyle looked downwards at the system map and found out that the person who ordered was just a few hundred meters away.
He didn't waste any time, he knew that anything could happen within the short moment he went into a temporary daze, he didn't want to take the risk of failing, the person who ordered this time might need the items to be delivered immediately, at least that's what he felt from the requirements of this delivery!
He started his motorcycle once again and immediately went towards the direction where the person who ordered the delivery was currently located.
..
..
..
A girl wearing a Demon Slayer uniform was crying, she was holding the hands of another girl who was lying on the ground heavily wounded and bleeding.
The girl was of a slender build. She had long, straight hair of a very dark gray color that reached just below her waist, worn down with two shorter clumps over her shoulders, and arched, ear-length bangs on either side of her face. Her eyes were a pale violet and slanted towards the sides of her face.
She wore a purple-tinted version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, as well as a piece of butterfly patterned fabric around her calves and zōri with pale straps. She also sported a pair of green and pink butterfly hairpins that she wore adorned on either side of her head.
"Onee-san…! Please don't die on me! You can still be saved... if..if.. I only have the proper items to treat your wounds, I can save you!"
She cried at her elder sister, who was heavily injured by a demon, her wound was terrible however it wasn't so much so that it was hopeless, it could still be treated and that was only 'if' she had the proper equipment and medicine to do so!
"Cough- Cough- ! Shinobu… you don't have to worry about me anymore... it's hopeless now…"
"Onee-san! Please don't say something like that! I don't want to give up! If someone could only give me some medical equipment and medicine!" Shinobu bit her lips so hard that they started bleeding. Shinobu was an atheist, she didn't believe in God but currently she was praying to said God with all her heart, she was helpless, it was the only path left in front of her. She wished that there would be someone to deliver her some medical equipment and medicines!
Her despairing thoughts were stopped by the abrupt arrival of strange noises… like that from an engine! She was quite familiar with the train engine, so she could identify an engine's sound, but this engine made noises like of which she had never heard of in her life.
The noise was getting closer and closer, her doubts turning into facts. Now Shinobu was sure that this noise was coming towards their location, she couldn't help but become cautious.
A few moments later, she could finally identify what it was, it was a strange looking horse? That was made entirely of unknown and colorful metal, she couldn't recognize what this was at all!
But more importantly there was a person riding the metal horse, it was a lanky youth wearing a strange looking red outfit, but above anything his gaze gave her the chills, his eyes were really scary.
The strange person suddenly spoke. "Your delivery order has arrived! I apologise if you had to wait too long!"
"Huh?"

# The Gemstone of Ominium 2 - Pain
Her unfazed expression didn’t even waver when the blade of her thin sword pierced one of the men all the way through armor, flesh and bone, a gurgling sound bubbling from his throat. With a kick she mercilessly pushed him back, freeing her blade, and glanced down at his dead body sprawled at her feet, confirming that death had indeed taken him. Stepping over the dead man’s body as if it were a mere pebble on her path, she raised her head just in time to see her second attacker lunge at her and, nimbly turning on her heels, she slit his throat. A spray of hot, sticky blood hit her left cheek and slid down her neck, but she didn’t even blink. The scent of the fresh blood filled her nostrils and her brain like an inebriating drug and she stepped forward once again, lightly turning to one side to avoid being decapitated and quickly returning the favor. One by one the men kept falling as she advanced, victims of her lethal, almost mechanical movements, as if she’d been born with a sword in hand and ready to kill …* This is a direct continuation of Book 1 - Denial.
