《My Unconventional Delivery System! 》Chapter 26: Hug

At the MgRonald's staff room, Kyle was already done with his delivering shift, resting he was waiting for his shift hours to end so that he could check out for the day and go home.
If you're still wondering how in friggin hell he didn't get fired, long story short, it was Meru again, who started turning out to be the solution to most of Kyle's problems right now. She made a call to the MgRonald's company simultaneously as she made a delivery so that when Kyle arrived she could threaten him to play with her and he wouldn't suffer any repercussions for his shenanigans. She was rich but she wasn't tyrannical.
And as for wondering why would the company even follow her orders? It's because her family owned half of the shares of MgRonald's company, they were the main shareholders of the restaurant, which wasn't really that surprising compared to owning 10% stock of the Shinomiya Group. (MgRonald's is a Japanese only brand and isn't an international brand like the original McDonald's.)
While waiting, a bit bored with nothing to do, 2 people entered the staff room, they were none other than Chiho and Sadao, Kyle smiled at them and said. "Otsukare!"
"Yeah~" Sadao waved his hand tiredly, his tone was also reeking of a tired gesture.
"Otsukare Kobayashi-san" Unlike Sadao, Chiho answered in her ever present cheerful voice, then both of them sat down on the opposite chairs.
Kyle looked curiously at Maou, he wondered why the cheerful and energetic Maou was suddenly so tired, today wasn't a particularly busy day and business was as usual so there wasn't any reason for him to be tired due to overwork. His growing curiosity got the better of him so he asked nonetheless.
"Why are you looking exhausted Sadao, did you perhaps overwork?"
Instead of Sadao answering, it was Chiho who answered in his stead. "Maou-san has been like this ever since he started his shift today. I dunno why though, he doesn't answer even if I ask."
Kyle made an 'Is that so' expression, though they were working at the same place, their jobs were separated and could only see each other at the staff room or if he sometimes helped them in the restaurant.
Either way, he had some guesses as to the reason for Sadao's abrupt tiredness. 'It probably had to do with their magical research… it's definitely not possible for Sadao to have another job other than this one… I know how hard it is to get a decent part time job like this one.. though I don't actually need to work since I'm loaded with cash right now, but I insist! I don't particularly have anything to do if I leave my job and I refuse to enter the living hell of procrastination, I already did it in my previous life, I don't have any intentions of continuing it on this one.'

And his guess was right on the spot, Sadao or Demon King Satan and Alsiel were looking for the traces of that spatial magic that the system had made, during Kyle's dimensional traveling trips.
They had been looking for it since the last time Kyle teleported, they simply searched overnight with no result or progress in their investigation, it was both tiring and frustrating.
But of course Kyle didn't know about this, if he knew he would have probably laughed at their wasted efforts… or not.
He knew that even though it's a wasted effort it didn't mean that it was an action worthy of mocking, instead it was an action worthy of respect for the efforts they had put in a thankless task for their goals.
Kyle estimated that Sadao at this point had probably figured out how to recover their magic, however as for why he didn't take any action to recover it?
It's because it had to do with negative emotions, Kyle was unsure about the details of the plot in Devil is a Part-Timer, he was unsure about most of the things of his past life at this point. 10 years really was enough for anyone to forget most things of their life. He had recovered some memories of the anime/manga/novels he was mostly interactive with nowadays such as Dragons Rioting and Dragon Maid ones but he still wasn't sure of most things about everything else.
The point was though that Sadao was generally a good person, he wouldn't do something that harmed innocent people, at least it was like that currently after he became human and came to terms with understanding them, he had changed since his time in Ente Isla and even there he didn't wish to bring massacre and slaughter to that world but unfortunately it was impossible for him to understand the mindsets of the demons, he had reasons for invading Ente Isla and it wasn't what the residents and the hero thought to be the initial case.
Kyle was considering whether he should tell Sadao that he could use magic or not, but then immediately decided not to because it would destroy his ordinar- no let's admit it, his life was no longer ordinary, it had become fucked up the moment he got the system, but at the very least it was peaceful, for the most parts and he wanted to hold onto that peacefulness as long as it was possible. He knew the world will eventually fuck him over making it a constant chaos.

Time quickly passed, their shift ended and Kyle immediately went back to his new house/mansion.
After arriving he was immediately greeted by a loveable Kanna, tackling and hugging him tight as soon as she saw him enter. She was probably waiting for his arrival in front of the door.
She buried her face in his lower abs nudging her face as she welcomed him with a gleeful voice full of innocence. "Welcome Home."
Kyle didn't expect this sudden ambush of unadulterated cuteness! It was so effective that it's damage in the cuteness scale was simply immeasurable.
This time, he really couldn't help himself from answering the familial love Kanna conveyed to him, so he hugged the little dragoness of absolute cuteness back with a bright smile and the gaze of a doting sis-con elder brother. "Awh~ Kanna-chan, thank you and I'm back!"
He was really grateful for this moment, for having a cute dragon loli little sister. Kanna didn't mind his action, no that would be absolutely wrong to say, she was absolutely ecstatic about it. She was longing for some familial skinship with Kyle and his loving gaze backed up by his brotherly tone filled her heart with happiness for finally getting the familial love she longed for so long but never had the pleasure to receive.
However, this action of his was seen by Tohru who simply frozen on her spot, but on the next second her eyes became bloodshot her whole aura oozing jealousy and intense bloodlust, too lost in these emotions to even come to the logical conclusion that this was nothing more than little skinship between siblings, fortunately Kyle quickly noticed her and by extension the aura she was giving off and it absolutely terrified him to his core!
"O-oh! Tohru how long have you been there?" He smiled at her forcefully trying to find a way to mitigate the situation through talking.
Tohru gritted her teeth responding in an icy tone. "From the very beginning…"
Kyle couldn't handle her clearly jealous glare anymore, he knew that there was only one way to stop the upcoming mess.
Tohru was by creation a simpleton, he took a deep breath and said as calmly as possible. "Tohru... want a hug too?"
Almost immediately that bloodlust from before disappeared, and they were greeted with the sight of a madly flushed maid dragon looking at him as if all that intense bloodlust emitted seconds ago wasn't from her in the first place!
Tohru spoke in a stuttering voice. "C-c-can I?!"
Kyle could only smile thinly at Tohru's current expression, her expression was similar to that of a treasure hunter finally obtaining the greatest treasure of his life.
"Yes, you can." He nodded, after confirming his approval Tohru immediately appeared in front of him, in his perspective Tohru suddenly teleported.
Or like she stopped time using 'ZA WARUDO', okay that was stretching the bullshit too far.
Kyle spreads his arms horizontally, signaling Tohru to hug him, after seeing this action of his Tohru didn't resist her urge and hugged him tightly, completely forgetting that Kanna was being squeezed beneath her!
The sight of 2 dragons and 1 man hugging each other was truly a unique one. Kanna couldn't take it anymore and complained. "Tohru-sama... you're squeezing me…!"
However Tohru acted like she didn't hear her at all, continuing to hug Kyle with a blushing face and secretly sniffing him like a hardcore pervert!
But in reality her sniffing wasn't a secret at all, she was inhaling his scent greedily and audibly making Kyle feel embarrassed.
Few minutes went by, but Tohru didn't seem to have any intention of stopping. Kyle was about to tell her to stop when his aunt arrived and saw this strange sight with her dead fish like eyes.
"What the hell are you guys doing?" After finishing her nice bath in the artificial hot spring, she saw this sight.
"K-kobayashi... help.." Kanna was still stuck between Tohru and Kyle.
"Eh? Ah! Hey both of you stop hugging!"
..
..
..
After that hugging session, both Tohru and Kyle got scolded by Kobayashi San for squeezing Kanna.
And just like that the night quickly passed, with Tohru sleeping in a great mood with her face showing the signs of a degenerate.
