'So this is his bloodline transformation? Hmmm…,' analyzed Jake.

He had heard rumors of the Loft family possessing a unique bloodline in their bodies.

However, very few of them could actually awaken the power. 

It seemed like Kieran was part of these very few people.

"Is that the [White River Ant] bloodline?" asked Jake.

"Yes," a soft, but thick voice came out of the transformed Kieran.

As Kieran spoke, a blob of water from the lake gathered on his hand.

'What a sad life?' sighed Jake.

*Shui!* *Shui!*

Immediately, Jake and Kaleyx dashed at Kieran.

Jake activated his [Lightning Charge], while Kaleyx simply imposed her dark-silver energy on her body, augmenting her body attributes.

Within a second, Jake got to Kieran and slashed his sword, '[Lightning + Ice Blade].' 

His sword crackled in the air as it was blocked by Kieran's plated arm.

*Ding!*

However, Jake had already expected it.

He distanced himself from Kieran and allowed Kaleyx to fling one of her daggers at Kieran.

Of course, the dagger was blocked also, but, in the next moment, a crack appeared on where the dagger hit.

It turned out that it was the exact spot where Jake slashed his sword.

This interesting turn of events led to Kieran jumping away from his location as he examined his arm.

He found it hard to understand that a crack had appeared on his natural body armor.

Analyzing his mistake, Kieran spoke out in his usual cold tone, "Your eye, isn't it? It pinpointed my weak spots."

He had already noticed the unusual appearance of Jake's right eye and was quite sure that the crack was caused by one of the abilities of Jake's eye.

Listening to Kieran, Jake wasn't surprised that Kieran figured it out.

He materialized a [Sky Step] in front of him and used it to propel himself to Kieran's position, but Kieran was already expecting that.

"[Nero Bullet]," announced Kieran.

The large of water on his hand had concentrated to the maximum. So, he shot out tiny parts of it at his enemies.

His [Nero Bullets] were calculated as they tried to stop Jake in his path, but Kaleyx was there to cover him.

Using one of her skills, [Deflect], Kaleyx bravely touched the bullets and sent them away with just her index finger.

This allowed Jake to blitz past the bullets and invade Kieran's circle.

His eyes met Kieran's eyes but he was not disturbed.

Fluidly, he materialized another [Sky Step] beside Kieran.

Using it to twirl around him and landed a side slash with his sword which was already fully encased with the destructive energy of his dual-element, '[Revised Limitless Slash]'

His attack vaporized all the surrounding water as it met with Kieran's hard shell-like skin.

*Clang!*

The sound that was heard next was proof that Jake didn't pierce Kieran's skin.

However, Kieran could not victoriously smile as he saw Jake's expectant eyes.

That was when it kicked in.....

*Boom!*

An unknown force exploded in Kieran's insides and catapulted him away from Jake.

Finally, Jake smiled, "Perfection!"

Kaleyx appeared beside him, "It feels better when you are not the one receiving the attack."

Kaleyx had an understanding of Jake's technique, and vice-versa.

The attack he dished at Kieran was an application of his [Revised Limitless Slash].

It subtly transfers all the gathered force of the attack into the target's body.

It was nothing to scoff at. She, herself, had received one of those attacks.

"It's not over. It's just getting started," warned Jake, despite knowing that Kaleyx knew that.

"How many more minutes can you last?" asked Kaleyx.

"Half an hour, max. What of you?" responded Jake.

"I can do forty minutes. Well, we will manage…...somehow," sighed Kaleyx.

She watched as Kieran stood up from his previous downfall. Blood profusely flowed out of a hole on the left side of his chest.

Yet, his cool eyes made them understand that he still had many more tricks.

Immediately, water began forming around him like he was their god.

The lake water moved away from its water bed and surrounded him.

'The [Water Spirit Phsyique]...,' analyzed Jake.

Jake barely knew few people with a special physique. In Aztec, he knew only Sierra Aztec and Isabella Hayden.

None of them had grasped the power of their physiques like the man in front of him, right now.

Being an avid reader, Jake knew what a [Water Spirit Physique] was.

It was a physique that blessed the owner with an extremely high affinity with [Water Element]. Any water-aligned attack they have would have its damage and effect increased by at least 300%

This could be further understood from the way that the [Water Element] were crazily gathering around him like he was their child.

Rapidly, Kieran pointed his hand in the air, and a great ball of water formed above.

It grew to a large size and when Kieran pointed it at the duo, it burst into a massive amount of water bullets, '[Nero Shower].'

The rain of sharp water bullets prompted Jake to move in front of Kaleyx and erect his technique, '[Giant Sky Steps].'

His huge shield made of thick [Sky Steps] protected them from Kieran's attack, but based on the cracking sound on it, he reckoned not for long.

Nodding at Kaleyx, he allowed her to place her hand on the [Giant Sky].

Her dark silver energy flowed from her hand and went into the [Giant Sky Steps].

It made the originally blue shield glow darker and shinner. Subsequently, her water bullet that met the shield instantly lost momentum and fell to the ground.

It was a fusion technique that Jake and Kaleyx had theorized and could only be possible due to the duo's exquisite control of their energy.

Also, Jake's understanding of Kaleyx's element helped to create this beautiful variation of the [Giant Sky Steps], which Jake dubbed, [Steps of Regression].

After days of being with her, Jake found out that Kaleyx's element was an extraordinarily rare one. It was the theorized [Negative Element].

An element that many cultivators have only guessed existed. Jake could bet that Kaleyx was possibly the only user of the element on the entire planet!
