《Secrets of the Universe 》Chapter 184: The Mindscape(1) - His Reappearance

Jake had no idea where he was.
He could only see himself floating in a completely black space. It was not what he expected. It was not the starry sky he wanted to see.
He could hear the almost inaudible voice of Kaley sounding everywhere.
'Limbo,' thought Jake.
If Kalyex's words were right, then he was in the Limbo state. That would explain the dark appearance of the state.
Jake sat on the cold floor of the black space. He was waiting for further instructions from Kaleyx.
As he listens to Kaleyx's warnings, he found himself more submerged into the black space.
The blackness was calling him to sleep, to cross over to the other side.
However, it didn't last long.
He found himself involuntarily drawn out of the black space. He was back in the sea of stars he was at before. Even having a feeling of wakefulness.
Kaleyx's voice got to him again, "Seems like you are finding it hard to retain in the state. Try to recite the most soothing words you have ever heard, thereby, calming your mind directly."
'Most soothing words, huh,' murmured Jake.
He understood what she meant by that. Jake had to meditate, calming his mind and body from fighting back.
Luckily, he had a superb meditation technique.
Surrendering himself to the spatial winds, Jake began, "
One begets two.
Primordial chaos is the source of all life.
Without Order, its perpetual twin, Chaos cannot bloom.
Two begets three.
Chaos and Order are a cycle, a duality destined to eternally chasing one another, not understanding that there is always a part of themselves in the other.
Three begets four.
Chaos flows in a rhythm beyond comprehension.
But hidden deep in it is a beauty that transcends all.
Four begets five.
Primal, Origin, Chaos, Order, and You."

The moment he said those words, they began ringing in the background. It possessed a melody that far surpassed any he had heard before.
It was the same mantra he always recited. Yet, he couldn't get over it.
Quickly, Jake found himself back in the fully black space.
With the chant ringing in his ear, he felt more comfortable than before.
He listened to Kaleyx's voice, "It worked. Okay, I'm going to release the Dream Bloom. It releases a unique fragrance that can only be sensed by one's sixth sense, contrary to people's beliefs. The sixth sense ability comes from the mind. Hence, since you are in your body, you should be able to see the sense in action."
Jake was about to turn around when he heard Kaleyx's last words, "It should be in form of a trail, follow the trail and it will lead you to where you want."
Immediately, Jake focused on his surrounding.
Everywhere was black, drowning any visual observation.
'Hmm…,' Jake saw something.
At first, he thought it was a blinking light, but later, he realized that was not the case.
It was a tiny pink dot that expanded into a thread that danced around.
No time to waste, Jake quickly followed the wispy thread
He had no idea of how much time he spent chasing the pink thread, but he saw hope eventually.
The hope was in the form of a bright light, a light that seemed to be positioned at the end of their path.
Running towards it, Jake got blinded by it, and his senses got temporarily impaired.
When he regained his senses back, Jake was no longer in the black space.
He looked to be in a starry field, different from the one he was at before.
Jake recognized this field. The floating broken rocks, and the numerous asteroids crashing on them!

He had been here before.
Following his memory, Jake floated for a while before he found what he was looking for.
Yes, it was an eye, floating in the starry field.
The appearance famous eye confirmed his previous guess.
The eye was made with multi-colored starry dusts. The iris of the eye contained an even more concentrated amount of starry dusts, of different colors like the shades of lilac, bright whites, and pink. Its pupil was black, the glossy kind of black.
It was the [Akashic Eye]. The real appearance of the eye, not the outward appearance on his right eyeball.
'I'm back,' smiled Jake.
He zoomed closer to the eye and touched its body. His hand surfing through the starry dusts. It was a pleasurable feeling, different from what he felt when he saw the [Eye of Providence].
Getting a hang of his mind, Jake flew to the pupil of the [Akashic Eye] and entered it.
He had a feeling his mindscape was inside the eye.
The moment he entered the eye, he was greeted with a new sight.
It was almost identical to the starry field outside the eye, but it was slightly different.
The floating rocks seemed to have been from the remnants of a planet or star.
They were in constant motion, always clashing against each other.
When Jake went to one of the large rocks, he felt himself being pulled by gravity and lost his ability to levitate.
'Hmmm..'
Jake spotted a door on the rock. He went around it and found nothing on the other side.
'What is this?' Jake thought.
He wondered if he should open the door or not. Ultimately, he opened it.
The view inside was different from what was meant to be on the other side.
It was a small room filled with books upon books.
Closing the door, Jake had a clue on what he saw.
He was analyzing more when he heard a shocking voice, "Took you so long."
The voice came from somewhere behind him, but Jake didn't need to turn back to know who was its owner.
There was only one person with the same voice as him.
"Khaos," softly sighed Jake.
"Ehh, could it be you are not surprised?" asked the voice again.
"Yes," sighed Jake.
The voice questioned, "even after you attempted to kill me?"
"Yes."
"Hahahahaha, boring as always," laughed Khaos.
His voice became louder as he flew to Jake!
