《Tamer of Cosmic Beasts 》Chapter 81: Lv. 3 Headquarters

The one that came out first was none other than Daan Godlyn. He had recovered from his injuries and Hasnain Seth commented on it.
"This healing and reviving buff always come in handy."
Daan looked at him and corrected him.
"I wasn't healed by the System, the Tea family and many other beasts with the Life and Water Laws cured me."
Everyone looked at him curiously.
"Not healed by the System? Why didn't you use the System's power, Lord Daan?"
Haji Tea asked.
"Bec..."
Before Daan could reply, the System sent a message to every enforcer.
*beep*
[Injuries or casualties caused outside of the Training Grounds cannot be healed or revived.]
All the Earls turned quiet until eventually Earl Meer asked.
"It still isn't bad. The beasts in Carnage Prison have amazing healing powers. They returned Lord Daan to his best condition in a mere 11 days."
"It's 528 days, not 11. One day here is equal to 48 days there. Daan was continuously healed by them for 1 and a half year."
Akash Tagar explained. Then, Daan looked here and there before realizing that the headquarters seemed different, piquing his curiosity.
"Have the headquarters changed while I've been away?"
"Yeah, we levelled it up. It's now on the third level."
Baghi Tea explained, surprising Daan and the soldiers who returned with him, prompting them to look around the upgrade headquarters. The hall was much bigger than before, in addition to the increased quality and quantity of the furniture Along with that, there were also many smaller changes throughout the whole place that weren't too big but when adding it all up, the headquarters as a whole had received a significant glow up despite not diverging from its core design.
"How did this occur?"
Daan asked to which Akash answered.
"The headquarters can only be leveled up by the King, Lords or Earls as they are the ones that will receive the benefits mostly. The third level had a total of 3 requirements:
Pay 10 million coins which was up from the previous level's 1 million. From this, we can gather that each subsequent level will require a larger sum.
The King's land must encompass at least a total of 20,000 square feet. We already had 10,000 square feet of land before, so we just added another 10,000.
The King's force must include at least 1 Lord.
"Where is this new land located, My Liege?"

Daan asked after listening to Akash.
"Check outside, old Daan."
Sohrab Khan answered. Then, Daan looked at Akash, who nodded, before going outside. Sacra and Sohrab accompanied their former emperor.
As Daan stepped out, he was astonished to see a myriad of dragon statues outside. They looked so realistic, they almost seemed alive. Additionally, the walls were bigger than before with four horizonal lines of golden bricks, giving off a majestic feel.
Sacra spoke as he pointed towards the other side of the HQ.
"The 3rd level gave us three new features. The first one allowed Lords and Earls to read another person's profile."
Daan scrunched up his eyes and looked at Sacra in puzzlement.
"What profile are you talking about?"
Sohrab intervened.
"Old Daan, look at me and say 'open profile' in your mind."
Daan Godlyn did just that and his eyes widened at the knowledge he saw on the screen, murmuring while staring at it.
"So this is a profile. This will be an invaluable advantage for us. Even if someone tries hide their powers, we can easily see through them."
Sacra continued.
"The 2nd feature, given to us by the System, was the Cosmic Market."
Daan's feet halted when he saw a huge glass wall, on which 'Cosmic Market' was written in digital words. The whole area was as big as the whole headquarters.
Daan quickly understood where the other 10,000 square feet went. He quickly went there and opened the two-door gate of the market, wherein he looked upon a marvelous market, filled with many large screens on which a variety of items were displayed. Every category had numerous screens dedicated to it, like ones for the many varieties of swords available such as wooden or poisonous blades.
Daan slowly walked to see the end of the market but regardless of how long he walked, he just couldn't reach the end. Even when flying at top speed with his awakened equipment, he still couldn't do it until Sacra finally gave a loud cry.
"Lord Daan, it's useless! We tried that too, but it's an endless market!"
Hearing that, Daan let out a sigh and came back to the entrance. Before he was about to leave, he looked back once more at the items displayed on the screens. He focused his vision and noticed Haji Tea's name there, after which he looked at every other item and saw the names of his other colleagues as well.

"Why are the names of our enforcers on those items?"
Daan asked.
"Because they are the owners, remember the loot we got on V-Valley. These are the same ietms we got. You also plundered some, put them on sale as well."
The high orc guided the sabretooth. As the Lionking looked at his inventory, he got a notification from the System.
*beep*
[Is Lord Daan Godlyn willing to sell his items on the Cosmic Market?
YES/NO?]
Daan Godlyn clicked yes and his inventory was immediately emptied. He then looked at the slots on the screens. Each item was framed in a slot of its respective category.
*beep*
[The materials have been uploaded on the On-Sale screen, 20% of the income will be transferred to King Akash Tagar as tax.]
After Daan understood everything, he came out of the Cosmic Market. The trio then returned to the headquarters, appreciating the work of the System.
Soon after, the door of the HQ opened once again as 17 figures came in. The one at the front was Shehneel Shodo while behind him was the real 7th General of Death Gate along their other minions.
"My Liege, I've come back and brought all of my Death Gate members to join the Ancestor Law Enforcement."
Shehneel greeted Akash Tagar and the latter smiled in response.
"Welcome back, Vampire. I was waiting for you as well and now that you are here, we can finally proceed according to our plan.".
"Indeed, My Liege, but first, please accept my people as well. I would like to give you the assassins organization, Death Gate, as a gift. There were 105 members before, 15 assassins under 1 general, but now only these remain after our unforgivable folly."
"Alright, I accept."
Akash replied and opened the profile of the 7th general.
[Name: Lucy Tarakyn
Realm: 3rd Moon, Star Knight
Aptitude: Upper-High Grade
Learn Laws: Martial Law, Ice Law, Fire Law
Inborn Laws: None]
"Hmm, a good tamer."
He commented and looked at the followers behind them. Every one of them was eligible to become a soldier. One even stood out among them all, a young, green-haired man with no facial hair and a petite body.
[Name: Bim Zsabul
Realm: 2nd Moon, 9th Star
Aptitude: Medium-High Grade
Learnt Laws: Martial Law, Wind Law
Inborn Laws: Darkness Law (Awakened), Evil Law (Yet to Awaken) ]
Akash pointed towards him before speaking.
"Shehneel, make the young kid over there the 4th General of Death Gate."
Shehneel quickly looked back at Bim, who was scared. While they were moving here, Shehneel had told him about what he went through in Abran and how 5 of the Generals had died. Shehneel then gave his opinion.
"My Liege, this lowly subject is just giving his opinion, but this kid is not suitable for such a position."
"Check his profile, you will know what our king sees in him."
Baghi Tea told right after.
"What profile?"
Shehneel asked, he was not present when the headquarters was levelled up and with no notification, he was unaware. Then, a message from the System came in his mind with a screen. Immediately, shock appeared on his face and he jerked back to the kid again. To his surprise, this kid had even more talent than he did.
"Alright, you will be the 4th General."
Shehneel said before a sudden voice came from the crowd.
"He will be the 3rd, not the 4th, because I no longer want to be an assassin."
Zunair Kisko announced causing the masses to turn their heads to see him before he continued.
"I am a man of the sword. I only joined Death Gate so I could face powerful swordsmen. From now on though, I will stay with Earl Sacra Emilat."
"As you wish."
Akash gave his approval as he rose to his feet.
"All the soldiers who got their beasts, bring them out now."
The King ordered and they all obeyed.
The entire hall was then filled with many beasts. Akash looked at every one of them and was satisfied. The weakest one had the cultivation of the 3rd Moon of the 9th Star realm while the rest were of higher realms. There were even 3 beasts at the Star General realm.
This scene startled Shehneel and the other members of Death Gate that had just arrived. An egg of a beast with a confirmed bloodline of Star Captain nobility cost 50 million on the market. Yet they now had many beasts of similar or even stronger bloodlines as matured adults in their prime.
"Now all of you soldiers will stay behind, only Lords and Earls will follow me for training. If anything happens while we're away, quickly send a message via the System. With these beasts, you will be able to hold them off until we return. In the meantime, resume the construction process again at the same pace but with higher security."
Akash gave out an order.
"Your wish is our command!"
Everyone bowed and said at the same time.

Everyone is a Superhero! Apart from me
Welcome to Loktharma, where everybody is a superhero from birth. That makes Eugene De Lavet the most special of them all. At eighteen years old, he still has no clue what his superpower is. Loktharma has never been a fair world. There are Worldbreakers who were born to brandish the power of the universe, warp time-space, destroy lands and continents. There are Craftmasters who control the elements and terrorize countries with their might and wits. There are Commoners who are only gifted with power for the finer arts, architecture, military arts, or small-scale elemental manipulation. Even in an unjust world like Loktharma, there is always one constant: everyone is assigned a Flair since birth; the power to do something extraordinary. And then there's Eugene. He's been running around in a secluded forest since birth, training and sparring his ass off. While he can wield a blade better than most at his age, he certainly can't throw a giant boulder using the power of his mind, or turn his skin into diamonds. He has no Flair, no purpose for leveling up his stats, and no idea why General Rizeni Baggardo keeps him confined inside a forest for eighteen years. At least until Lord Pyro—the Craftmaster of Tailiah—unleashes his fury on the forest, searching for a treasure Eugene doesn't even know exists. On a frantic escape for his life, Eugene starts to realize he was a part of something he's been completely oblivious to until now. Along with his companions, Melodi and Azra, he travels the land and unveils the secrets of the world. [The story will be told primarily through the lenses of three main characters, with occasional side character POV chapters. It also draws inspiration from Japanese shounen. So only proceed if you're cool with these aspects.]

The Adventurer's Guild(master)
In a world of adventure, magic, and kingdoms, only one man can keep it all from falling apart. As much as he wished that wasn't the case. This is the story of the man who became the guild master of the most prestigious adventurer's guild in the kingdom, and then came to completely regret that decision, as he is forced to keep the peace, file paperwork, and babysit adventurers. The life of a guild master is not as great as it once seemed. Note: The prologue is an extended -probably should have not took it that far- joke and is completely skippable from the rest of the series. This is my first work on this website, or on any website to be honest, so criticism is more than welcome. Feel free to leave comments on any chapter, not just the latest one.

Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!
