《Tamer of Cosmic Beasts 》Chapter 9: Lv 2 Headquarters

"Congratulations, from now on you are the first Earl of the Ancestor Law Enforcement."
As Akash Tagar congratulated Haji Tea, they both heard the System's voice.
*beep*
[ Haji Tea has been appointed as an Earl of the Ancestor Law Enforcement. Haji Tea can use all of the privileges of an Earl at the store besides some exceptions that are forbidden for Earl Haji Tea as he will otherwise be sent to the punishment grounds called 'Prison Feared by True Gods' as a warning.
If he still decides to repeat it, then after the punishment his life will be taken by the now signed Blood Subordinate Contract. ]
Both Akash Tagar and Haji Tea were looking at each other but their reactions were different. Akash was grinning while Haji Tea's face was full of shock.
"Whose voice was that?"
Haji Tea inquired.
"You will know in due time."
Akash answered vaguely.
"May I ask, what are those forbidden things which I must not do?"
Haji Tea looked questioned the screen he was looking at.
[ There are 3 things a subordinate cannot do, no matter what.
1. A subordinate must not disobey the King.
2. A subordinate must not betray the King.
3. A subordinate must not share the secrets of the Ancestor Law Enforcement to anyone, even their own blood kin.
If a subordinate violates any of these rules, the punishment will be inevitable. ]
"May I ask, who is the King?"
Haji Tea asked yet again.
*beep*
[ The name of the King is Akash Tagar. He is the only king of this force and all the subordinates must serve him and fight for him until they die. ]
Haji Tea looked at Akash with awe and as he was swimming in a whirlpool of emotions. The System continued.
[ The host has gathered his 1st subordinate. Upgrade the HQ to unlock the Store feature and collect your Mythical Grade King's Cloak. Earl Haji Tea can also collect his Mythical Grade Earl's Cloak. ]
Both Akash and Haji were looking at System's screen with their mouths agape.
"Did you just hear what I heard?"
Akash Tagar asked Haji Tea.
"Yes, My Liege... Huh? Why did I say that?"
*beep*
[ All the subordinates have a restriction on their language, they cannot utter the name of the King while in his presence. They can only call him My Liege. ]

Akash Tagar facepalmed.
"What kind of stupid logic is this? Nobody can force anyone to respect another."
Haji Tea sighed and looked at Akash.
"My... Liege."
"It's okay, don't call me that. You can just call me Mr. Akash."
"I'm trying to, but I can't."
Haji Tea let out another sigh.
"My Liege, let's leave that for another time and upgrade the HQ. I want to see the Mythical Grade Item this screen mentioned."
"To upgrade the HQ, I need money and land. I only have 100 Square Feet and zero money on my name now."
Haji Tea looked at him and questioned him.
"How much money and land is required?"
"10,000 square feet around the current HQ and 1 million coins."
*beep*
[ The host hasn't paid the 1,000,000 coins of the first level of the HQ, thus combined with the fee of the second level of the HQ, it would be 1.1 million. ]
Akash's eyes twitched as he thought the 1st level would be free just like his first panda beast.
"My Liege, I'll arrange all of them."
Haji Tea stated to Akash. He wasn't someone who would chagrin about formalities in exchange for a Mythical Grade item. Haji Tea was even more curious about the power of this HQ.
Akash didn't inquire further on this and replied.
"Alright then, I will accept your humble help Earl Haji but in return, all of your taxes will be spared."
Haji Tea felt a strange warmth resembling pride in his heart. He was shocked, why do I feel so happy when Akash appreciated my help? Is this because of the contract? He pondered.
"Do you happen to have a bank account, My Liege?"
"Not yet. Please make one for me if possible."
"Leave it to me!"
After arranging everything Akash called for the System.
"System, everything is ready. 10,000 square feet, 1.1 million cosmic coins and an Earl. Now please upgrade the HQ to Lv 2."
*beep*
[ It will be ready in 1 minute, until then everyone has to vacate the HQ. ]
Both Akash Tagar and Haji Tea came out of the HQ promptly and a square spatial barrier surrounded the designated 10,000 area of the HQ. Following this 1 minute, the barrier vanished.

Akash and Haji were looking at the HQ awestruck. The small walls had turned into big walls of a mansion.
They all looked so beautiful, and they seemed to be made of some type of rare stone that gave a pleasant whitish light.
The silver door changed into a big gate with some intricate and seemingly ancient patterns engraved on it.
In the middle of the gate was a golden image of a majestic and gigantic turtle. Above that picture, the words 'Ancestor Law Enforcement' was written.
The first one to broke the silence was Haji Tea.
"Ho… how is this... possible?"
Akash understood the sudden shock of Haji Tea's. He tapped his shoulder and said.
"Earl Haji, I assure you that you won't be disappointed by your decision to join us. There is no force such as our Ancestor Law Enforcement. Now, calm yourself and let's check the inside."
The inside was more of a surprise than the outside. There were beautiful statues of various unknown beasts.
One room could be found on each side of the big hall with names written on their respective doors.
The right room was the "Ancestor Training Grounds" while the left one was the "Ancestor Nest Well".
The hall itself was decorated with top-class sofas and chairs and at the end of it was another big door, on which the words "Ancestor Store" could be seen.
Once inside, stairs could be found on each side which leads to the 2nd floor. There, only one door remained on which "King's Chambers" was written.
"Amazing, absolutely marvellous."
Haji Tea clapped.
Akash Tagar was silently admiring the craftsmanship of the System.
"Well, the store's up ahead."
Akash pointed his finger towards the door of the store.
"Indeed, My Liege."
They both continued into the store and as they entered, they saw a huge screen, one that looked like the System's. It was square and each side displayed the same thing. There were many weapons on shown and all of them were of the lower High-Grade weapons.
Haji Tea looked at the screen silently. Akash looked at Haji and thought maybe he had finally adjusted to the otherworldly things here, but the truth was that Haji Tea was shocked into a stupor.
Akash called asked the System.
"System, where are our cloaks?"
Haji Tea came to his senses and looked at the screen as well.
*beep*
[ The Cloaks were already sent to your inventory as soon as the store was made, just think of the inventory in your mind and you will find it. ]
Akash did as instructed and another small screen appeared with box like slots and on the 1st slot was a cloak. Akash looked at the cloak and clicked on it.
The cloak was materialized on Akash in the blink of an eye. As if he had always worn it. The cloak was golden and made of top quality pure golden silk.
The top of the cloak was made of soft wool with red diamonds on it. At the end of the cloak, pearls were shining like the stars.
Haji Tea was looking at Akash Tagar. The scenery in front of him was just so extraordinary he forgot to equip his own cloak.
Akash Tagar was already handsome beyond belief and with this cloak, his charm reached new heights. Haji Tea kneeled in front of Akash instinctually as if he was the King of the world. Akash looked quizzingly at Haji Tea.
"Earl Haji, where is your cloak? Why haven't you worn it?"
"Oh! I'm sorry."
Haji Tea came back to his senses and wore his cloak as well. His Earl Cloak looked less majestic than Akash's King Cloak. It was made of pure silver silk and on the woollen top, there were 2 black diamonds.
As Haji Tea wore the cloak, the System suddenly stated.
*beep*
[ All necessary information will be sent to the Earl's mind via his cloak. ]
Haji Tea stood still as if someone has paused him. He has quickly understood all of his privileges and the duties required of an Earl. Soon, he woke up and kneeled yet again towards Akash Tagar.
"My Liege, thank you for choosing me for this force. I'd like to go and call all of my family to migrate back to Abran and have them support you alongside myself."
"Not now, I have another mission for you. You have to awaken your hidden attribute."
"I don't understand, My Liege."
"Follow me."
Akash beckoned Haji Tea as he left the store.

Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.
