《Disciple, Don't Cause Trouble, Master Won't Leave the Mountain!》Chapter 115: Tearing the Storm Apart!

As they got closer to the sea area, the dark clouds in the sky gradually became frighteningly dark. The sound of thunder and lightning reverberated in their ears like the roar of the Thunder God. The moment the blinding lightning lit up, it also illuminated every corner of the deck.
At this moment, the entire boat began to tremble violently.
It seemed... They had already entered the Storm Enchantment. When they raised their heads, all they could see dark clouds. The clear sky behind them was like a scene from another world. It was getting smaller and smaller...
Not good!
Jiang Yun actually forgot that he had yet to retract his sail.
Jiang Yun hurriedly flicked out two fingers. A surge of spiritual power burst out from his fingertips and firmly controlled the rudder. Following that, Jiang Yun abruptly ran to the back deck of the boat and pressed down on the pull rod. The sail of the boat gradually began to shrink. Jiang Yun could be considered to have breathed a sigh of relief. If he had been a step later, they would have been in big trouble.
At this time, Qin Xiaoxi, who was inspecting the cabin, also felt a strange movement. The boat, which had been sailing smoothly, suddenly began to shake violently.
Qin Xiaoxi moved away the pile of straw and licorice, wanting to confirm again if there were any loopholes or cracks. Although the boat looked old and had not been used for a long time, the interior of the cabin was still very strong.
After confirming that there were no problems, Qin Xiaoxi prepared to climb up the straight ladder to the deck.
Because the body of the boat was shaking violently, she could only climb up slowly and carefully.
Just as she climbed out of the cabin at the bottom, a strong gust of air current blew into her face. It was unknown when, but a fierce wind had already started blowing outside the window.

On the deck, Jiang Yun was using his spiritual power to try to control the direction of the boat. It was no wonder the broken boat only shook violently occasionally in such a fierce storm.
Qin Xiaoxi looked around and found that the surrounding sea surface had turned completely dark and was affected by the strong wind.
The violent waves were already slamming in bouts on the boat they were on.
Seeing this, Qin Xiaoxi began to worry whether the broken boat could withstand the slaps of the crazy waves.
"How is it... Is there a problem?" Jiang Yun noticed that Qin Xiaoxi had returned to the deck and hurriedly asked.
"I didn't find any problems." Qin Xiaoxi hurriedly shook her head and then came to Jiang Yun's side.
At this time, a huge wave pounced again. This time, it was not an exaggeration to say that the wave was two to three meters high! It was like an army of water ghosts, roaring as it pounced toward Jiang Yun and Qin Xiaoxi.
"Quick, you observe the compass and stabilize the direction." Seeing that the big wave came with such bravado, Jiang Yun hurriedly shouted. Then, he stood to the side, and the spiritual power gushing out of his body strengthened once again. This time, it actually wrapped around both sides of the boat.
The huge wave came crashing over.
He had thought that it would cause a huge shake, but he had not expected that the moment the wave hit the boat, it would be instantly scattered to both sides of the boat by Jiang Yun's spiritual power. Only a small amount of seawater splashed onto the deck.
Just as Jiang Yun was about to heave a sigh of relief, he did not expect the sky to suddenly become violent again. Violent winds surged, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled. The surrounding air seemed like it was going to be torn apart. Countless bean-sized raindrops fell like a dense net.

This time, Jiang Yun and Qin Xiaoxi were directly drenched.
"I'm still stable for the time being. Why don't you go to the cabin to take shelter from the rain first?" The voice of the storm was so fierce that Jiang Yun could only shout at the top of his voice to be heard.
"I'm fine! I can continue on the deck."
Qin Xiaoxi's face, clothes, and hair were all wet. The makeup on her face had also faded a lot due to the impact of the rain. The color of her lip gloss had already lost its color.
"It's okay, the rain is too heavy now!"
"I don't want to!"
Jiang Yun didn't say anything else.
He tried his best not to let the rain affect him. He only relied on his own spiritual power to forcefully support themselves. If it weren't for him, the boat would have already been swept away by the storm. What's more, it would have been smashed into pieces by the waves! ! !
Everything around them fell into chaos. Jiang Yun and Qin Xiaoxi seemed to be in the midst of a terrifying roar. The sound of the wind... The storm...The huge waves.. ... The lightning and thunder... Everything seemed to have lost its balance. They were all attacking Qin Xiaoxi and Jiang Yun's boat as if they were going crazy, as if hey swore to tear their boat into pieces.
In the gloom, at the moment the lightning lit up in the sky! Jiang Yun saw clearly that there was a huge wave that was hundreds of feet tall, sweeping over with a terrifying roar.
This scene directly stunned the two of them on the spot.
It seemed that... Today was definitely not going to be an easy day.
Jiang Yun and Qin Xiaoxi clearly felt that the hull of the boat had already begun to slowly rise. From this, it could be seen how great the power of this tsunami was. Jiang Yun held his breath at that moment.
After the huge tsunami rose up, it was like a huge demon claw from the abyss. If they did not take any measures, it would probably smash Jiang Yun and Qin Xiaoxi's boat into pieces and drag them into eternal damnation! Their small boat was as small and weak as an ant in front of the incoming huge wave! ! !
Quicker than words, Jiang Yun instantly spread his hands and released his powerful spiritual power. The whole deck instantly burst out with a strong light.
"Xiaoxi! Hold on! Close your eyes! !"
Everything around them became chaotic.
Qin Xiaoxi could barely hear Jiang Yun's roar.
In that instant, the light burst out instantly!
Jiang Yun's spiritual power was like a pair of huge sharp swords, cleaving through the aggressive ferocious wave! !
"Ahhh!" Jiang Yun let out an angry roar, the veins on his forehead bulging. He used all his strength to stretch out his hands, and the powerful spiritual power actually forcefully opened up a passage which allowed them to pass within the huge wave that was hundreds of feet! !

Life of a Core
After a disembodied voice had told him he was what amounted to an exceptionally talented rock, it had been hard to not let it go to his non-existent head. Until, random chance had decided to give him a square kick in the minerals. Which had in turn forced him to fend for himself in an unknown land, all while he attempted to make sense of his place in the world. Truthfully though, all he had really wanted to do from the start had been to bury himself a hundred feet below the ground and be left to his own devices. Yet, for one reason or another, nobody ever seemed willing to leave the dungeon-building core alone long enough to actually make one. Each chapter will average around two to three thousand words, the release schedule is still a WIP but you should expect the first six chapters to be released over the next six days. This is planned out as a dungeon building fiction, but don't expect it right off the bat! The story is a depiction of the everyday adventures (alongside an overarching plot) of what I imagine a dungeon core would experience when thrust into a random environment where everything and everyone tried to covet or eat him. I also really enjoy reading the comments and reviews people leave and would love to get some reader involvement with the story itself, likely through polls at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy my story! (If you feel like some of the characters seem familiar, you may have read some older work I wrote a while back under a different account. If you happen to be one of my old readers and recognize the similarities, I'm happy to have you back!)

Summoned
“Per aspera ad astra." Death. Mercilessly, it comes for all. But when a young man is given a second chance – a second life – to experience what he never has, what will he do? Leave the burdens of his past behind, improving upon his faults? Or will he collapse back into old sins, wasting the opportunity given to him? Perhaps even he himself does not know. * Join Andre on his journey as he explores a new world – one ripped straight from the pages of a D&D campaign he's never played. He will face monsters. He will face men. And above all, he will face himself. The story’s genre is your standard progression fantasy, isekai: magic, a system, and a level of technology suspiciously underdeveloped. I’ve borrowed tropes from various books I’ve read like “The Second Coming of Gluttony”. The similarities are there (particularly in the beginning), but I assure you the story is my own. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story! P.S. This is my first fiction so make sure to point out mistakes wherever you see them. I’m doing this, partly, to increase my skill as a writer. However, be kind! I’m fragile, you know? Warning: ***This is far from your happy-go-lucky, feel-good adventure story. There will be content that some of you might not be comfortable with. And if you're already feeling skeptical reading this, click away and don't come back. If you're still here, what are you waiting for?***
