《Disciple, Don't Cause Trouble, Master Won't Leave the Mountain!》Chapter 105: The Yue Maiden Sword

Qin Mingzhu's eyes were dim, and there was a hint of sadness in her expression. Qin Xiaoxi quickly grabbed her hand.
"If you ask me, there is nothing good in the He Family. If you go there, you will only suffer a lot of grievances. I don't want to see you being bullied." Qin Xiaoxi shook her sister's hand.
For some reason, she actually began to envy her younger sister.
Qin Mingzhu didn't say anything. She just tried to force a smile and shook her head.
"Ah... Sister..."hearing this, Qin Xiaoxi shook Qin Mingzhu's hand.
"Don't be unhappy... I'm is still counting on you to become an unparalleled heroine to protect me." Qin Mingzhu gently touched the back of her sister's hand and said in a gentle voice.
"When I become an unparalleled heroine, I'll bring you away from the He Family!"
"Silly." Qin Mingzhu laughed softly."... Okay... Then I'll wait for you to return with fruitful results."
Qin Mingzhu looked around and found that the rouge on the dressing table had been cleaned up.
"Little sister, is everything ready?"
Qin Xiaoxi nodded when she heard this.
"When are you going to leave?" Qin Mingzhu looked at her.
"Right now."
Hearing this, Qin Mingzhu quickly handed a package to Qin Xiaoxi. The exterior of the package was ornate, and there was a lace at the opening. Qin Xiaoxi took the package. She didn't expect the small package to be so heavy.
"Isn't this... a storage bag?" Qin Xiaoxi exclaimed in surprise, she knew a thing or two about storage bags. Many cultivators wore a storage bag. A storage bag might look small, but because of the unique cultivation technique cast on it, many things could be kept in the space inside.
"Open it and take a look, little sister." Qin Mingzhu's lips curled into a caring smile. She untied the rope on the bag for Qin Xiaoxi.

The first thing she took out was a bag of money that jingled.
"Thinking of how far you must travel along the way, with all these travelling expenses on you, it will naturally be enough for you to eat and drink to your heart's content."
Qin Xiaoxi opened the money bag, which was filled with gold and silver coins. This money... They could even allow her to live comfortably outside for half a year!
She placed the money bag to the side and continued to stretch out her hand to grab.
With this grab, she managed to grab a few bottles of Dan panacea. The Marching Pills and hemostatic medicine were all things that she naturally understood. But the last one, she couldn't have imagined in her wildest dreams that her sister had even prepared Concealing Fog Bullets for her.
"These Concealing Fog Bullets should only be used in critical moments, they can help little sister escape a calamity."
"Thank you... Sister... Where did you get so many good things?"
"When I thought of you leaving, this was the last thing we could do to protect you. So, the things that we could prepare properly, we naturally prepared everything for you." Qin Mingzhu's expression was a little absent-minded, to be honest, she was a little reluctant to part with her little sister, Qin Xiaoxi. Qin Xiaoxi had a lively personality and had added a lot of joy and laughter to the family.
"We... ?" Qin Xiaoxi asked curiously when she heard this word.
"Take a look again. What else is there?" Qin Mingzhu covered her mouth and smiled.
"There's actually more." Qin Xiaoxi was a little shocked. She had never expected her sister to prepare so many things for him. She reached into the exquisite storage bag again.
This time, she felt something metallic, like a handle. There seemed to be many patterns on the handle.

Qin Xiaoxi was excited again.
What was it?
She slowly took out a long sword from her storage bag. The scabbard and even the handle of the sword were carved with exquisite patterns. It felt very nice to touch. In the middle of the sword, there was a phoenix-shaped jade embedded in it.
"This is..." Qin Xiaoxi was shocked. The appearance of the sword was very familiar. She seemed to have seen it somewhere before!
"Grandma's sword..." Qin Mingzhu replied.
"But sister... How did you..."
Qin Xiaoxi slowly pulled the scabbard open. As the blade of the sword slowly revealed itself, a cold light flashed across Qin Xiaoxi and Qin Mingzhu's eyes.
This sword was called the Yue Maiden Sword.
Qin Xiaoxi still remembered that this was the sword that her grandmother had once carried.
This sword had been jointly forged by the Qin Family's many craftsmen. Not only was the selection of materials extremely strict, but the craftsmanship was also extremely precise. The body of the sword was extremely tough, and its sharpness was not inferior to those famous swords. It could be said that it was strong in the face of strength, and could cut iron like mud.
What was even more shocking was that this sword could adapt to most cultivation techniques. This was also something that many weapons could not do.
"So take a guess again..." This time, Qin Mingzhu's face was full of a mysterious smile.
"Dad? He prepared it with you."
Qin Xiaoxi was completely stunned.
"Yes, Dad was worried that you would be bullied if you were alone outside, but you insisted on being a cultivator, so he specially asked me to give this to you in case you needed it." Qin Mingzhu nodded, she gently stroked Qin Xiaoxi's face.
Qin Xiaoxi never thought that her father, who had always opposed to her becoming a cultivator, would take care of these things for her. Thinking of the tone she had used to speak to him, Qin Xiaoxi couldn't help but feel a lump in her throat, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Qin Mingzhu wiped her little sister's tears with an embroidered handkerchief and said, "Father also said that he has already prepared a carriage and will send you to the ferry. That way, you will be able to travel less."
Qin Xiaoxi couldn't hold it in any longer.
Her tears started to fall.
At this moment, she only had one thought in her mind -- to find her father and apologize to him.
She put away her sword and put them all in her storage bag.
Then, she ran out of the door with Qin Mingzhu.
A familiar figure stood at the door. Qin Haisheng had his hands behind his back. The cold wind made his beard flutter. He seemed to be waiting for something.
"Father."
Qin Xiaoxi called out to him.
Qin Haisheng turned around, and their eyes met.
Qin Xiaoxi wiped away her tears and went up to hug her father.
"Father... I shouldn't have been so fierce to you."
Qin Haisheng didn't say anything. He just patted Qin Xiaoxi's back. When Qin Xiaoxi's sobs gradually died down, he began to speak, "When you arrive at the Sakura Valley, you must ask Sect Master Lin for advice. Don't mess around."
"Sect Master Lin... Do you know her?"
"No, but I know she's your Grandma's junior sister. So, you have to learn from her properly. When you see her, you can hold this sword and she will know who you are. "As he said that, Qin Haisheng turned his gaze to the cloth bag in Qin Xiaoxi's hand.

8 116Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com! My name is Xelean, since I can remember I always saw strange shapes floating in my field of vision. When I asked my parents about it, they looked at me concerned, perhaps thinking that I had a vision problem. Seeing his reaction I quickly said that it was all a joke. However, when I learned to read, I understood a little better what those images with letters were thanks to the following message:'Congratulations soul of the multiversal soul flow!!! You are the soul number 1 Billion that will be born in the world to which you were destined, in consideration and because the current situation of the world, certain benefits will be granted:[User interface][Inspection][Accelerated balanced growth] Sincerely, The Hive.' ---------------------------------------------------- Author Note/Warning:English is not my first language. In this work there may be similar things/references to different novels (from webnovel and outside of it), role-playing campaigns, movies, anime and manga; since they shaped the idea that I have of the stories and I think that, in part, many of the ideas that I have in mind are consciously or unconsciously inspired by them.
