《Disciple, Don't Cause Trouble, Master Won't Leave the Mountain!》Chapter 103: Beef Noodles

At this moment, Qin Xiaoxi and Jiang Yun were already on their way to the Northern Region.
"Are we going to walk there just like this?" Qin Xiaoxi asked as she looked at the gradually thinning crowd around her. She quickly caught up with Jiang Yun.
"So you don't even know how to get there, and you were still thinking of going to the Northern Region on your own?" Jiang Yun couldn't help but find it funny. He turned to look at Qin Xiaoxi and teased her.
"I'm just asking you."
Qin Xiaoxi was a little unhappy when she heard this.
Seeing Qin Xiaoxi's expression was somewhat not right, Jiang Yun nodded as if he had thought of something. Then he said, "I'm a little hungry. I want to eat a bowl of noodles before I go."
At this point, Jiang Yun turned his gaze to the beef noodle stall that was steaming.
"But we still have to hurry. Besides, didn't you have your fill at dinner just now?" Qin Xiaoxi was speechless when she heard this.
"Then are you full?"
This was not untrue. Jiang Yun only had one bite of meat this whole night. He didn't even have a bite of the dish Phoenix's Arrival before that damned He Zhao came killing.
When Qin Xiaoxi heard this, she seemed to feel her stomach growling too.
Just as she was about to say something else, Jiang Yun was already sitting on the chair of the beef noodle stall.
"Eh... But we still have to hurry. We still have to find the Holy Saint Snow Ganoderma to save my sister!"
Qin Xiaoxi was both annoyed and amused as she quickly sat to the side.
"Yes, but I'm very hungry, so I don't have the strength to hurry!" Jiang Yun waved his hand.

The owner of the noodle stall was a simple and honest uncle dressed in cotton clothes. White steam was rising from his stove, and the moment the pot was opened, the alluring aroma of beef noodles gradually entered their noses.
It smelled so good... Even Qin Xiaoxi couldn't help it...
"Boss!"
"Coming."
"Help me get a bowl of beef noodles. More beef, no spring onions," Jiang Yun turned to the owner who came to his side and said.
"Okay, then... what about the lady?" The owner looked at Qin Xiaoxi in surprise.
Qin Xiaoxi pressed her lips together, her eyes a little absent-minded. She could feel her two hands constantly moving under the table.
Jiang Yun couldn't help but smile when he saw this.
"Give her a bowl too."
"I don't want it!" Qin Xiaoxi quickly refused.
"This..."
"Don't worry, just make it. Serve two bowls." Jiang Yun shook his head and said firmly.
"Okay, sir. Please sit for a while. The noodles will be ready soon!"
Jiang Yun nodded while Qin Xiaoxi shifted her gaze to the side.
It was getting late, and it was probably almost midnight.
"So, are you really not going to eat it?" Jiang Yun looked at Qin Xiaoxi with a half-smile.
Before she could answer, the boss's noodles were already on the table.
"The noodles are here! More beef and no spring onions!" The boss placed a full bowl of beef noodles in front of Jiang Yun and another bowl of beef noodles in front of Qin Xiaoxi.
"It smells so good..."
The soup of the beef noodles actually had a hint of golden. On the rice-white noodles, there were a few pieces of tempting beef lying quietly. With the sprinkling of spring onions, Qin Xiaoxi couldn't hold back anymore.

"How can someone not eat for an entire night?" As he spoke, Jiang Yun had already picked up the chopsticks and spoon on the table.
Damn this Jiang Yun. He's actually forcing me to eat.
I have no choice.
Qin Xiaoxi was indeed very hungry.
She couldn't hold it back any longer and picked up the chopsticks at the side.
The corners of Jiang Yun's mouth curled up slightly as he looked at Qin Xiaoxi, who was looking at the beef noodles with her head lowered.
"Eat more," he didn't forget to remind her.
Qin Xiaoxi ignored him. She just silently picked up the scallions in her bowl and picked them up one by one.
Jiang Yun was a little stunned.
He didn't expect Qin Xiaoxi to not like eating spring onions either?
The appearance of Qin Xiaoxi silently lowering her head and picking the spring onions out of the bowl one by one strangely gave Jiang Yun an indescribable feeling. For some reason, Jiang Yun felt that she didn't look like the daughter of the Qin Family at all.
"Stop picking."
Just as Qin Xiaoxi was secretly complaining about how there were so many spring onions.
A bowl of beef noodles without spring onions was pushed to the front of Qin Xiaoxi.
This stunned Qin Xiaoxi.
She looked up at Jiang Yun, who was looking at her with a smile.
"It's okay... I can do it myself."
"How long do you need to pick? I'm too tired from watching it." Jiang Yun shook his head and continued, "Eat my bowl."
"Thank you..." Qin Xiaoxi didn't know what to say. She only felt a burning sensation on her face, but she still accepted the bowl of beef noodles that didn't have scallions.
"Eh..."
Just as Qin Xiaoxi was about to say something else, Jiang Yun had already begun to eat his beef noodles in large mouthfuls. He looked like an evil ghost that hadn't eaten for hundreds of years.
Qin Xiaoxi had never expected that this handsome Sect Master of the Deity Sect would actually eat like a wolf.
Qin Xiaoxi almost couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Hearing this laughter, Jiang Yun also slowly raised his head and looked at Qin Xiaoxi with a strange expression.
"What? What are you laughing at? Is it funny without scallions? Hurry up and eat. We have to hurry after eating." Jiang Yun swallowed the beef in his mouth and continued.
"Nothing... I just think this bowl of noodles is interesting."
Qin Xiaoxi burst out laughing again. Then, she picked up her chopsticks, picked up a small piece of beef and stuffed it into her mouth.
"You are the second young miss of the Qin Family. You must eat your fill before you can travel. Otherwise, when I see your father, how can I explain to him that you were hungry and you secretly ran out of the Qin Family?"
Jiang Yun looked at Qin Xiaoxi in confusion.
"Eat your noodles! Stop talking!"
Qin Xiaoxi rolled her eyes at Jiang Yun before she started eating as well. Just like that, the two of them chatted and ate the beef noodles in their bowls.
In this moment, the moonlight gradually became brighter. They were like a gentle silver gauze that scattered on the ground.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
