《Disciple, Don't Cause Trouble, Master Won't Leave the Mountain!》Chapter 14: What Is the Demeanor of a Strong Person

Yu Sisi by the side was instantly stunned by Jiang Yun's words.
A senior was indeed a senior. He really had a personality!
Cursing a grade six magical beast so casually as if it were a normal greeting.
Could this be the demeanor of a strong person?
She didn't dare to make a sound.
When the middle-aged man formed by the black bear heard Jiang Yun's words, he was so angry that his eyes turned red and the hair on his body stood up straight. The temperature in the surrounding also seemed to have dropped by a few degrees.
He hadn't been humiliated in such manner for thousands of years.
Now, he was actually humiliated this way by an ordinary human without any spiritual energy.
"Kid, do you know who I am?" The black bear said in a cold tone.
Jiang Yun took a bite of the roasted meat and glanced at the man outside the door. He tore off a small piece of meat and fed it to the leopard cat. He couldn't be bothered with the guy outside at all.
Who were you?
Even if you were the king of the world, you had to behave in my area.
What's the point of talking nonstop?
Jiang Yun couldn't be bothered to explain to this guy.
Yu Sisi saw the two big shots confronting each other.
For a moment she didn't dare to utter a sound, and she stood rooted to the ground, somewhat feeling lost.
She suddenly remembered that she still had a rabbit leg in her hand. Should she eat a piece of meat to ease the awkwardness?
Or should she wait for a while?
When black bear saw that Jiang Yun completely ignored him, he was so angry that his eyes were about to burst into flames.
"Very good. I'll remember you. I'll stay here and guard you. You're just a mortal. I'll see how long you and that woman can live without eating or drinking. I only need to take a nap and it will be more than ten years. I'll see how you guys can waste your time with me!" Black bear suddenly seemed to have thought of something. He sat cross-legged at the door, and propped up his chin with one hand.

When Jiang Yun heard black bear's words, he immediately became angry.
You still wanted to get into it with me, right?!
Jiang Yun looked at Yu Sisi beside him and said indifferently, "You want to acknowledge me as your master, right?"
"Ah?"
For a moment, Yu Sisi was stunned on the spot, as if she had heard something unbelievable.
"Aren't you going to acknowledge me as your master?" Jiang Yun looked at her and asked again.
This time, Yu Sisi finally reacted and jumped up excitedly. Then, her face instantly turned red and she hurriedly knelt on the ground. "As long as Senior is willing to accept me as your disciple, I will do everything that Senior orders without any hesitation!"
Jiang Yun nodded slightly and said, "Alright, I will accept you as my disciple. Kowtow and call me Master!"
Yu Sisi hurriedly kowtowed three times and respectfully called out to Jiang Yun, "Master!"
"Ding! Mission completed. You have successfully accepted Yu Sisi as your disciple. Obtained 30 halo points and 100 experience points!"
The system's voice instantly appeared in Jiang Yun's mind.
A strange smile appeared on Jiang Yun's face as he slowly said, "Stand up!"
After saying that, he turned around and stared at the humanoid magical beast sitting at the door.
Black bear also noticed Jiang Yun's abnormality and felt a little strange.
What was this guy doing this time?
Suddenly, black bear felt an inexplicable panic in his heart. This kind of emotion had never appeared in his heart since he became an adult.
In the next moment, the black bear's muscles began to expand, and his hair flew in the air as he entered into battle mode.
He had lived for so many years, and being cautious had always been his strength. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to grow from a bear to a grade six magical beast.
Seeing the black bear's cautious look, Jiang Yun also smiled.
You liked to waste time, right?
He got ten aura points after he took Yu Sisi, plus the twelve points from the men in black.
That was a total of 22 points.
This fellow was guarding the entrance. It's only less than a meter long. I just needed to use all of the 22 aura points that I had accumulated, and the range of the aura would instantly increase, directly enveloping you.

You would soon know how to write the word 'death'.
Jiang Yun narrowed his eyes and shouted in his heart, "Synchronize the aura points!'
"Synchronizing has been completed."
"Damn it!"
The humanoid magical beast's expression changed drastically, and then it left a faint black shadow on the spot. Its original body had already disappeared.
When Jiang Yun saw this scene, he could not help cursing, "Shit!"
Yu Sisi: ???
The little leopard cat: ???
Meanwhile, the jade butterfly on Jiang Yun's shoulder and the date tree behind him were also instantly stunned.
Jiang Yun looked at the sky and felt as if a row of crows had appeared above his head, continuously quacking.
The halo space had just expanded.
He hadn't had the time to completely expand it.
This guy had actually run away. He had been careless. It seemed that he was still too naive.
A grade six magical beast which could even transform into a human form, it must have lived for thousands of years and had rich experience.
At the same time, he was also somewhat regretful.
This was a huge amount of experience points and halo points.
If he expanded it unpreparedly, it might not have a chance to escape.
This lesson made Jiang Yun understand.
If he wanted to act cool, he'd better make a rigorous plan.
If he wanted to expand 100 feet, he had to set up a barrier at 90 feet in advance so that the other party wouldn't be able to escape.
In other words, he was a newcomer. It was only right that he had to learn more and revise more.
It was a pity for Jiang Yun.
Yu Sisi didn't know how to describe her feelings at that moment.
She had thought that she would be able to witness a world-shaking battle, but when it was about to start, the other party actually fled.
You're a grade six humanoid magical beast after all.
Why you so shameless?
Are you a coward?
At the same time, Yu Sisi had a clearer understanding of Jiang Yun's strength.
Her admiration for Jiang Yun grew even stronger.
After all, seeing was believing. She had seen with her own eyes that Jiang Yun had scared away a grade six magical beast that was comparable to a human's Psychic Realm.
Such an expert had actually been scared away with just a glance.
Meanwhile, the little leopard cat was rolling on the ground happily.
The jade butterfly had also begun to dance.
The leaves and branches of the date tree were rustling as well.
Seeing that Jiang Yun had scared away a powerful enemy and made a show of himself, it was as if they had done it themselves.
The magical beasts were quite proud.
It was not easy to get the experience points. How could he be careless? It was indeed a huge mistake.
The reason why he did not convert the experience points into halo points was because he was waiting for the third halo to be upgraded.
Only with more abilities and being stronger would their lives become more stable in this world.
Halo's range increase was not the primary goal.
The main reason was that he had learned through the inquiry system that the next phase of the halo was called "The Dead Reborn".
Controlling life and death sounded like an incredible ability.
What a pity...
"Master, did you really want to kill it just now?"
Seeing her master's depressed expression, Yu Sisi asked curiously.
After all, in her opinion, with her master's strength, there shouldn't be any creature in this world that could be compared to him.
"Alas, I made a mistake. If I had been half a second quicker, we would eat bear meat tonight!" Jiang Yun said regretfully.
Yu Sisi's hand, which was holding the rabbit's leg, instantly broke out in a lot of sweat. She almost couldn't hold it anymore and slipped out.
He could kill that bear in half a second?
What exactly was Master's realm of strength?
This was too overbearing!
It would be great if only I had one-thousandth, no, even one-ten-thousandth of Master's strength.
She looked at Jiang Yun with admiration once again.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

Economicalopoly
Humanity had gotten this far. How far, might you be wondering? Quite far indeed. The world had effectively become an ecumenopolis, almost; not in real life at least, in Economicalopoly of course! More on that later, in our story the main character is Charlie. Charlie was an exceptionally talented young man, the key word being 'was'. He was an incredibly unmotivated individual who generally steered clear from other 'Homo sapiens' as he put it. This was all because of an accident he had early on in life, when he was but 15 years old.
