[Blood Core Rank: [Level V: Dragon Vampire (Middle Stage)] has increased to [Upper Stage]!]
[Dragon Heart Rank: [Level V: Developing Adult Blood Dragon (Middle Stage)] has increased to [Upper Stage]!]
[All your stats have increased!]
[You learned the following Skills]
[Sonar Wave]: Produce a sonar wave from the sound made by your cry to expand the range of your detection.
[Spectral Attack]: Transform a small part of your soul into a specter and use it to attack, can deal direct damage into a foe's soul.
Chaos had a feast, he had eaten over a dozen of corpses, so many that he lost count after 64. Alongside that, he had drunk a considerable amount of delicious blood, so he felt rather healthy and filled with vitality.
He had gained only two Skills from eating so many bats, but it seemed that that's all they could offer to him, maybe if he were to eat a variant of these bats, he could get something else, but that was that for the moment.
These two Skills were rather interesting, although Sonar Wave wouldn't offer much as he had Auto Mapping and a greater natural perception that sonar could offer him, the Spectral Attack was interesting.
He tried using Sonar Wave, nonetheless, throwing a cry to the wall, and generating a tremendous shockwave that shook the wall that it hit, leaving several cracks over the robust and hard walls of the dungeon… it seemed that Chaos was so strong that he transformed a mere Sonar Wave into a powerful Sound-based weapon.
"Could it be? Does chaos have the same amazing voice as me? maybe we could sign together!" said Abyss with a dreamy and happy smile.

Chaos didn't know how to sing, so he felt embarrassed about trying it out, although his face was expressionless and stiff, even more like a vampire dragon form.
"Well… Maybe," he said, as he quickly tried out his other new Skill, Spectral Attack.
Suddenly, Chaos felt how his enormous and chaotic soul began to flow out of his claws, resembling a shadow and dark specter filled with chaos and miasma, and leaking it everywhere…
This was surely way more than a simple spectral attack… it seemed that any little skill would become a deadly weapon on Chaos' hands. He wondered if he could one day fuse them together…
CLASH!
He used his Spectral Attack to release a claw-shaped long-ranged spectral attack to the walls, leaving a tremendous wound over the wall, and piercing through the rock through several dozens of meters…
"L-Lord Chaos, that's amazing… But be aware that the dungeon may fall over us if you keep attacking the walls, they are the pillars that keep it up," said Belphegor, being as gentle as possible.
Chaos glanced at his claws overflowing with chaotic spectral soul, and quickly deactivate the Skill.
"Sorry about that," he said, as he quickly decided to save the rest of the corpses inside his Inventory, after letting Abyss have her fill too. She had gained a lot of mass, but her size remained the same, as she was able to compress this mass for later usage in battle.
Of course, Chaos could easily eat the rest without a problem, but he wanted to save this meat for the Orcs or the other members of the castle, and well, also to use as materials for summons, more than anything… Well, he still thought about the Orcs and the young Orc children and babies, so he wanted to give them a share too. Chaos didn't consider himself a good person, but he was considerate towards those that served him. He didn't know if the other non-flesh servants needed to eat to sustain themselves though, as he had seen how they only needed his mana to maintain themselves.

After everything was saved up, Chaos began to walk slowly through the dark caves, walking to the cave that they had reached, whose ceiling was around 40 meters above the floor, it was certainly an immense underground structure.
The rock that made most of the cave was black and gray, just like the one on the surface, and there were glowing blue crystals above the ceiling, named Magic Crystals, low-grade magic materials.
Chaos, of course, was a gluttonous being, so he quickly flew upwards and used his claws to destroy the ceiling a bit, making a rain of crystals fall over the floor.
"Oh my lord seems interested in everything, that's good! B-But be more careful!" said Belphegor, evading the boulders falling from above.
Abyss simply let the boulders fall over her as she devoured them, she didn't seem to mind getting splattered and even found it fun.
"Sorry about that, just thought that all of this could be a good material too," said Chaos, as in the next 10 minutes he spent cleaning the entire ceiling of glowing crystals, leaving boulders everywhere and then saving the piles of crystals one by one.
He decided to devour a few hundred until he got something.
Ding!
[You learned the following Skill]
[Magic Crystal Coverture]: Coat yourself in magic crystals to enhance your defense and magic damage, which will dissipate into mana after they fall apart.
…
"Interesting…"
Chaos quickly covered himself with this Skill, resembling a crimson-red crystal dragon.
He was shining so brightly he illuminated the entire cave…
"It is a bit stiff to walk with crystals covering every inch…" said Chaos, as he quickly shook his body, making all the red crystals fall apart and dissipate into magic dust.
"My lord can get just any skill from anything it eats… even low grade magic crystals work… I am sure that Master Ainz would be fascinated with doing research about such powers…" said Belphegor with admiration.
"I would like to help father with his research…" said Chaos, as the trio finally reached a part of the dungeon that were not just dark caves, which ended splitting in three directions!
The straight direction led to a volcanic cave filled with pools of lava and fire.
The right direction led to a humid cave filled with mushrooms.
And the left direction led to an underground jungle!
"Which direction?" wondered Chaos.

The Power of Ten: Book One: Sama Rantha, and Book Two: The Far Future
(Author's Note: If you're wondering about the views, it's +1.8 million more on Webnovel, its original home. Updated daily starting Dec. 26, 2018, and continued with Book Three.) Some time ago, a planes-traveling archmage made up a video game to train some people on the planet Earth for the catastrophe he knew was coming. That game was the Power of Ten. The gods seized this opportunity to take the templates of some of those characters, and even their souls, for use in other worlds, and other realms. Sama Rantha is one of those characters, and is going to find out that being a Hagchild and having to survive after your Hag Curse fails to murder you at birth is much, much less fun than setting it as your Race at level One on a gamescreen. Join Sama Rantha on her Road to Ten, and letting her Hagmother know exactly what she thinks of her... ------ Warning: This book starts with a HARD OPEN! It was written as an extension of other stories that have not made it onto the Internet yet for National Novel Writing Month in Nov/2018. Book One/Sama Rantha: A traditionalist LitRPG in the fantasy world vein. The beginning chapters will be heavy with gaming terms and the supporting math as Sama exploits the rules as much as possible, minmaxing her heart out to get one up on the world trying to kill her. The math and rules lawyering tapers off, but are never eliminated, as Sama is going to do everything she can to exploit the rules of reality here and not die, while making sure those responsible for this get exactly what is coming to them... ------ Book Two, The Far Future (starting Ch. 286): The Warp, the final frontier; in the grim darkness of a galaxy far far away, there came a hagchild...QX! Sci-fi/Fantasy/psionics mashup, grimbright clashing with grimdark! Sama is sent into a setting she'd rather not be in, but the heart of a powergamer never says no, even in the crapsack galaxy of the Tellurian Empire. BOOK TWO IS COMPLETE WITH 357 CHAPTERS AS OF 9/2020. ----------- Book Three (updating daily): The Human Race (next Book!) - Urban Fantasy world. Three Power of Ten gamers come together in a world under the Shroud of the Cancer of Death. Whatever might happen when they do, and what might they find there? Book Three is complete with 500 chapters: right here. Book Four: Power of Ten is dumped into the Marvel Universe. Surely there'll be no changes to canon when that happens? A Fanfiction variant, with teeth! Dynamo The Original Sama Stories: Being posted at: over in this location. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Discord link: in zis location is always up if I'm online. Contact First
2039 - Earth A narrow beam energy signal appeared aimed squarely at earth from the TRAPPIST system. The communication consisted of a layered set of repeating data over several thousand wavelengths. Over the next few months scientists discovered that the lower wavelengths carried an encoded numerical language which could then be used to interpret the more complicated messages carried on the higher wavelengths. After half a year of painstaking work the signal was fully decoded. It described a small satellite launched along a precise trajectory towards the fourth planet of our solar system. Included was a package of advanced research that humanity would need to have ready in order to receive the satellite and decelerate it safely. The alien data provided the kick that humanity needed to turn from petty squabbling and unite to explore the final frontier. Major government and corporate leaders worked together to create the framework for the United Federation of Sol. UFS spaceports went from scaffolding to daily launches in every major city around the globe. Ships floated like dandelion seeds, spreading on solar wind to grow into colonies. 2397 - Mars orbit, Egeria Station The command center was a hive of activity as checks were conducted and systems initialized. Scientists flitted by like mayflies as communicators beeped and holoscreens spat out green tinted readouts. Nervous energy was thick in the air as everyone anticipated the culmination of over three hundred years of work. Massive fusion reactors under the planet's surface thrummed with barely restrained power as energy fed into a gleaming metallic maze criss crossing the planet. Metal fingers reached up, overshadowing the mighty olympus mons and trying to grab the stars. All over the solar system, people quickly turned to look as gigantic energy lances shot from the dusty fourth planet. Two years later. The same people that clapped loudly at the successful activation of project Hermes now wait with baited breath. A silver capsule trailing bright photonic sails is captured by a net of grav beams and guided with care bordering on reverence into the station. Holoscreens across the headquarters project an image of the sleek craft settling in the bay. Data connections are established and the holoscreens blink to white. Slowly an image forms on the screen. Across the headquarters people stare in wonder as a wholly alien face stares back. "Contact established. Welcome to the universe."

Kingdom of Ice
"170 years ago, in a world where humans have evolved such that they could live on the ocean floor, and form cities there, Commandant Franklin led a hunting party on a reconaissance expedition north, traveling from the outer edge of the Indian Ocean, all the way to the High Arctic. His goal: to find the fabled Northwest Passages for the Vicegerent of Tridention, and establish business with underwater arctic cities there. But the expedition went awry, and they never returned. Everyone in the party was presumed dead. Until now. When two of the hunters from that same expedition find their way back to Tridention after all these years, Watson, a retired commandant for one of Tridention's thirty-five hunting parties, agrees to help those hunters form a ragtag party of their own, against their leadership's wishes, and travel all the way back to the same Northwest Passages to recover the rest of the hunting expedition. The hope is that their commandant, and other hunters, are somehow still alive and can be brought back home safely. "
