"Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle!!!"
In the villa.
Butterfly pushed the Electric Bear away with its Psychic power.
"Roar?"
"Gurgle!"
It pointed at the sweeping robot that was smoking in the living room, and then at the thunder arcs that emerged from the Electric Bear's body from time to time. It decisively stopped the Electric Bear from approaching any and all electronic devices in the house.
The Electric Bear squatted there, with a pitiful expression that didn't match its size.
But Butterfly was unmoved.
It couldn't let Stupid Bear enter the room either.
It only had one computer and one cell phone!
It couldn't even bear to change the screen when it cracked the last time!
Flaming Cloud Crow looked at the dancing thunder arcs around the Electric Bear's body and was a little curious.
It approached and carefully extended its wings to probe.
Halfway through, it retracted, then stretched out again…
Suddenly…
An arc of thunder emerged and sizzled along its wings, flowing all over its body. Its black and red feathers were electrocuted.
The Flaming Cloud Crow shuddered violently and let out a sound that fluctuated between high and low.
"Squawk ~ ~ ~"
At this moment.
Su Hao pushed the door open and entered. When he smelled the burnt smell in the dormitory, he understood what had happened.
"Didn't I tell you to stay outside the house?"
"Sob, sob, sob ~"
"Alright."
He remembered that the Electric Bear had just arrived in the human world after all, and was similar to the Water Spirit Foal back then… It was just that its destructive power was much stronger.
He didn't blame it.
But he couldn't let it stay any longer.
If the Electric Bear trembled and released countless thunderbolts, the whole villa would probably explode.
He was poor recently.
He couldn't afford it!
"Let's go, I'll bring you to familiarize yourself with your power."
He added, "When you can control your power perfectly, then you can come into contact with computers and games."
It was rare for Butterfly to stand on the same side as him, but it nodded.
"Wah? Howl howl ~!"
...
In the training building not far from the dormitory, Su Hao brought the Electric Bear here.

He stopped for a moment in the front hall and looked at the introduction of the training facilities.
"Gravity Machine, adaptive space, dreamy shooting range, impact collision house…"
"Forget it, let's test the attack power of the Electric Bear first."
He came to the testing area and took out his student card to scan with a "beep".
This place was further divided into several halls.
It tested the power of unique skills, speed, reflex, and also defense.
Power Testing Hall.
Su Hao looked around. More than twenty unique skill power testing machines were lined up in a row. He called the Electric Bear to walk towards one of the machines.
Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice.
"Huh!"
"Ha!"
He looked over. In front of the testing machine at the end of the hall, a boy with a pot lid hairstyle stood in a bow-like posture. He twisted his waist backwards, raised his arm, and then punched out forcefully.
The fist hit the target testing the power of the unique skill.
Bang~!
There was a slight tremble.
The strength value appeared: 155!
"What the f*ck!?"
"It's equivalent to an all-out attack from an entry-level sprite!"
"Little Li, are you a human or a sprite?!"
Li Songting, who heard the sound, turned around and noticed the Electric Bear behind Su Hao.
"Your new sprite? I just contracted one too. My teacher gave it to me."
It was only then that Su Hao noticed a stupid and cute sprite beside Li Songting's feet.
It was similar to the Electric Bear before its evolution.
It was a Panda Baby.
The corners of his mouth twitched. "Don't tell me your teacher got it from a friend?"
"How did you know?" Li Songting looked surprised.
Su Hao was rendered speechless.
Because he had just returned from Bear King Mountain!
At this time, it was another Panda Baby with great potential…
He could only sigh. Heavenly King Bu and Heavenly King Xiong were similar in size, so it was reasonable for them to be on good terms.
...
In front of a Power Testing Machine, Su Hao maintained a distance of two meters from the Electric Bear.

"Use your best unique skill to attack… Wait, use a small area of your unique skill to attack that target."
The Electric Bear scratched its head.
It said that it was very good at all unique skills.
Su Hao was rendered speechless.
He opened the interface of the Electric Bear.
After the contract, the data displayed on the interface was even more detailed.
[Electric Bear (advanced entry-level)]
[Characteristics: Thunder Net < click to view >]
[Unique Skills: Charging, Shock, Roaring, Meat Bomb Charging, Energy Storing Fist, Gravity, Lightning Electric Palm, Thunder Charging, Thunder Fall, Lightning Ball, Berserk Thunder, Electromagnetic Bind, Thunder Prison]
He picked.
Thunder Prison… was comprehended by evolution not long ago.
Top-level thunder-element unique skill.
Even elite-level sprites would find it very difficult to utilise, much less an entry-level bear like the Electric Bear.
"But it has the ability to control thunder. At the right time, for example, on days with thunderstorms, it can use the unique skill Thunder Prison."
Thunder Charging, Lightning Ball, and so on were also advanced unique skills.
The commotion was relatively huge.
But a little power might not necessarily be the strongest… There was no need to use it for testing.
"Use Lightning Electric Palm."
"Howl ~"
It nodded.
It stretched out its bear paw. Threads of thunder arcs jumped and slowly shrouded the whole bear paw.
Then, it approached carefully.
"Use more energy, use your full strength!"
"Roar?"
"Howl!"
It seemed to understand that the machines here were resistant to attacks.
Lightning erupted from the bear's paw as it slapped forward.
Bang!!!
The bear's power erupted at the same time as the destructive power of thunder.
The target in front of it trembled continuously, the dancing thunder arcs around were gradually absorbed, and finally…
Ding!
"2020!"
Liu Ren, who had just rushed over and wanted to issue a challenge to Su Hao's new sprite, swallowed back the words he was about to say and switched to "What the f*ck".
"Your bear is elite-level? No, definitely not."
"It's just advanced entry-level."
Su Hao said.
2000 damage was the standard for elite-levels.
However, the Electric Bear's spiritual force was only slightly above 600. Its entry-level limit was estimated to be slightly higher than even Butterfly's back then.
It was still in the mid-stage of puberty.
"As expected of a Level 2 Thunder Control…"
At this moment…
The Electric Bear looked at its bear paw and then at the unique skill power testing machine which didn't seem to be smoking.
Its interest was piqued for a moment.
It raised its arm and smacked down a few times.
Thud!
Thud!
"Knock, knock, knock…"
The target kept shaking, making cracking sounds.
A series of numbers appeared, and Su Hao hurriedly called for the stupid bear to stop.
...
A few minutes later, in the advanced training room.
The Electric Bear wrapped its arms around itself. In the middle was a huge thunder ball. Countless bolts of lightning jumped and were pushed out by it.
Boom~!
The whole training room was interweaved by thunder arcs. Some even reached Su Hao, causing a protective screen to appear around him.
"Keep away all the thunder."
"Howl ~"
With a wave of its raging electric palm, the thunder arcs that were originally jumping around were gathered by it in a flash, swimming around its furry body like thunder snakes.
This was elemental control!
After the sprite's unique skill was utilised, it could only barely control it with that slight connection.
For example, the Spinning Energy Balls of Reverie Butterfly.
But the Electric Bear…
"If it's a battle with a thunder-element sprite, I'm afraid it can control the other party's unique skill before returning it."
"When the Electric Bear reaches the extraordinary level, the range of elemental control will definitely be wider than ordinary extraordinary levels."
He followed the interface prompt (strikethrough).
With his rich experience and vision, he guided the Electric Bear.
It made it easier to utilise its abilities.
Two hours later.
The Electric Bear could control the electricity more and more freely.
The thunder turned into a thunder whip and a thunder net, waving around casually like its arms.
Suddenly…
A thunder whip lashed out, wrapping around a charred dummy.
The Electric Bear pulled hard, and the fixed dummy was pulled apart. Its upper body was pulled over, and wood chips flew everywhere. The Electric Bear struck out with its palm.
Boom!
The whole dummy broke into pieces.
Su Hao touched his chin.
"I already have an idea of the development direction of the Lightning Bear."

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

Authors notes: Hey guys! This is the rewrite of A.C! If you are an original reader, I've tried to keep some of the things that made A.C unique.
