《Start With Contracting Sprites》Chapter 26: Coach Xiong the Human-Form Sprite

The water stream sprayed forcefully, but Little Wind Horse wasn't nervous at all. It dodged the stream by just a slight step forward.
Su Hao's Silkworm Baby and Li Songting's Kungfu Pup approached together, one on each side.
"Neighhh!"
Little Spring made waves of ripples with its steps. They only saw a white shadow flash across, leaping over Silkworm Baby and Kungfu Pup in an instant, moving toward Little Spring.
"Stop him, Little Tortoise… Master."
Little Charcoal Tortoise was near Little Spring, to begin with.
It stepped forward and breathed out a burst of fire.
However, Little Wind Horse deftly dodged it, only leaving Little Charcoal Tortoise a handsome back figure.
Little Spring got nervous.
"Hum!"
Gu Lingyao commanded, "Slap over with a stream of water."
A strong and powerful stream of water was sprayed out forcefully, slapping out in a semicircle like a whip.
Little Wind Horse leaped up high.
"Right now, use Water Arrow!"
"Hum!"
Little Spring Sprite's hands pressed together. Then, tiny, but extremely fast and sharp water arrows shot out forcefully.
Coach Xiong's loud voice came from not far away. "Wind-Ride."
Little Wind Horse's gradually descending body suddenly ascended.
The water arrows passed through the air beneath Little Wind Horse and shot into the distance in a flash. They submerged into a thick tree trunk and re-emerged from the other side before the water arrows containing spiritual force exhausted its power and dissipated in the air.
The students watching took a cold breath. Even if they were some distance away, they couldn't help but back away a bit more.
They looked at their own sprites, which could only act cute, and then at those ones in the field. They couldn't help questioning if they were indeed batchmates with them…
Little Wind Horse came riding the wind. It was very fast, and in a blink, it descended behind Little Spring.
Strengthened with spiritual force, it stepped down with one hoof.
Bang!
Little Spring's face was stepped on hard. It swayed and fell down with a "hum".
After stepping on Little Spring Sprite, Little Wind Horse went up in the wind again, approached Little Charcoal Tortoise from the blindspot of its sight, and stepped down with a hoof again.
Bang!
Little Charcoal Tortoise retreated into its shell under pressure. Its shell kept shaking from the step's force.

Little Wind Horse kicked forcefully, and the tortoiseshell was thrown out far away. It rolled off to nobody knew where after falling.
Within the blink of an eye, two sprites had lost their battle ability.
It was so strong, both in the usage of force and the control of timing!
Silkworm Baby and Kungfu Pup were still moving, when the battle over there had already ended.
Little Wind Horse walked toward them with graceful steps.
Vine Snake, which was the closest in the distance, had already panicked. It flipped and slapped its tail randomly.
Its Sprite Trainer also didn't know what to do. She opened her mouth but didn't know what kind of order to give.
In less than two seconds, it suffered the same fate as Little Spring and Little Charcoal Tortoise.
Silkworm Baby was already dashing toward Little Wind Horse with great momentum.
"Neighhh!"
Little Wind Horse dodged to the side.
Silkworm Baby turned forcefully, like a comet marking a curve.
"Wind-Ride."
Little Wind Horse once again dodged using the unique skill.
Li Songting not far away saw it, and his eyes brightened. "Leap up!"
Kungfu Pup bent its knees slightly and leaped up high forcefully.
It formed a fist and pounced at Little Wind Horse.
The handsome white horse drifted in the air, wanting to dodge using the force of the wind.
In that instant, Su Hao made his first command after the fight started.
"Roar!"
"Gurgle, gurgle!!!"
An invisible sound wave dissipated.
The Little Wind Horse trembled a little at more than two meters high, and Kungfu Pup hit it with a fist.
Bang!
Little Wind Horse flew out, but swayed a little and got up again. It didn't look very injured.
Kungfu Pup looked at its fist in disbelief.
"It's the wind…"
Su Hao had witnessed it.
At the moment the fist had been about to hit Little Wind Horse, a small strand of spinning wind had appeared, blocking some of the fist's impact.
But isn't this cheating?
How can such an advanced way of using spiritual force possibly be learned by a Sprite Trainer Intern?
Clearly, we are all just newbies!
Silkworm Baby didn't pause. Its rapidly running body dragged a tail formed by emerald-green light dots, hitting right toward Little Wind Horse that had just gotten up.

"Wind-Ride!"
Little Wind Horse flew up once again. It had already used a unique skill for the third time, but it showed no sign that it exhausted its spiritual force.
This is too much!
Su Hao knew it was not that Little Wind Horse's spiritual force storage was high, but that the suitability of its unique skill was high. Also, it had special methods, such that it only required a minimal amount of spiritual force with every usage.
This was yet another advanced act!
(╯‵□′)╯(┻━┻!
Fortunately, Silkworm Baby had learned, and in the instant Little Wind Horse used Wind-Ride, it also forcefully leaped upward, bringing with it Charging's force of impact.
Coach Xiong's command came again. "Trample!"
Its palm-sized wings flapped, as Little Wind Horse deftly adjusted its angle in the air. Its hoof faced right at Silkworm Baby, lifted high up, and trampled down forcefully.
In the critical moment, Silkworm Baby suddenly lost its momentum. Its body curled up slightly, and its head shifted from upward to downward. Then, the scattered light green light dots gathered again.
The momentum was formed!
The acceleration brought to Silkworm Baby by the unique skill Charging changed from 45% upwards to 45% downward. It swayed right past and completed an almost perfect turn in the air!
Silkworm Baby dropped to the ground forcefully, sending fallen leaves and dust on the ground flying up.
No amount of hearing could compare to seeing with one's own eyes.
The improved Charging avoided the original disadvantage of rigidness and brought it to a new height. It was not only a unique attacking skill but also a unique dodging skill!
Even Coach Xiong couldn't help but admire it.
"A student from an ordinary family background with this kind of performance must be specially nurtured!"
Suddenly, Su Hao, who was just amazed by Silkworm Baby's performance, felt a cold sensation all over his body.
Out of the woods…
The other newbie Sprite Trainers were completely stunned.
Their young hearts suffered an extremely big shock.
Then they thought of themselves possibly having to face these monster-level opponents during the five-school joint combat practice at the end of the semester…
Their world felt bleak for a long while.
…
In the woods, fallen leaves flew everywhere.
Both Silkworm Baby and Kungfu Pup lost their battle ability briefly. Only Little Wind Horse was neighing and panting slightly.
Although Silkworm Baby showcased its fancy move, its strength was still comprehensively inferior to its opponent.
After Little Wind Horse dealt with Kungfu Pup, Silkworm Baby also withdrew from the battle.
It didn't completely lose its fighting ability. It just lay on the ground with an "oh-I-died" look. It had actually even learned the skill of "strategically saving energy".
This silkworm is not weak but saves too much energy!
Su Hao didn't point out its pretense.
He thought about it.
Maybe, perhaps, it might be that… It's my fault, after all.
Coach Xiong gave him and Silkworm Baby a very meaningful look, before gathering the students again.
"Do you know why you lost?"
Because of the sheer difference in ability.
Su Hao wanted very much to say so, but he wasn't so reckless.
Coach Xiong said, "Among your five sprites, Little Charcoal Tortoise is strong in defense, Silkworm Baby and Kungfu Pup are strong in frontal attacks, and Vine Snake has control abilities.
"This is a complete team, but look at you! Did you produce the effect it is supposed to have?"
He commented on one sprite after another. "Overall, Silkworm Baby, Little Spring, and Kungfu Pup's performances were okay, but…"
Nothing good ever came after a but.
Coach Xiong's fierce eyes looked toward the five students.
"What were you all doing when the sprites fought? You were standing foolishly!"
He then looked at the other students, "Did all of you think that there's nothing wrong with this way of commanding? There are so many wrong points with it!
"Think about your standing positions just now. You couldn't even make use of trees to hide yourselves, nor did you pay attention to the movement around. If a sprite, or someone holding a sharp object, attacks you right now, can you handle it?
"If you don't have enough battle power, you have to learn to hide."
Coach Xiong spoke, as his right hand closed into a fist and forcefully waved out toward the side.
Bang!
The big fist broke the trunk of a big tree, the four to five-meter tree tilted with a swoosh until it fell completely with a bang.
