《Harry Potter: Blood of the Dragon 》Chapter 306: Gun Test

18th of December,
It was the day Magnus and the rest came to the new hospital. Grace was to be admitted here for the coming few days. The best doctor he had hired was going to stay by Grace's side all the time.
Meanwhile, Magnus had asked Adrian to send a hundred men from the Golden Company and 10 men from the Army of Merlin to keep the area secure. Heck, even the Ministry sent a team of the most loyal Aurors just because they feared that the world would be totally fricked if something happened to Grace.
SO14 Royalty Protection Group, a component of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Protection Command, was also there since she was still a royal princess and deserved all the protection. However, since Magnus had a good grasp over the media, he didn't allow anybody to publish anything about Grace.
However, even though Grace was 9 months into the pregnancy, she looked as cheerful and healthy as she normally does. She didn't even complain about pain. This goes on to show the magic Ragnar's potions have done.
Ever since Ragnar made the rejuvenation potion more than a year ago, Grace and Adam have been consuming it daily, as it was like a health supplement, taking care of all the mineral deficiency in their bodies and also strengthening them at the same time.
This was the reason why Lord Mountbatten was now more loyal to Magnus than the queen because he had tasted the sweetness of this potion, it helped his body a lot and he wanted more of it. The only way to get it was by being loyal to Magnus.
The world ran on the concept of give and take. Magnus knew what the people wanted from him. Some hoped for riches, some hoped for power and Lord Mountbatten hoped for a few more years of healthy life.
"She appears to be normal, we have attached all the necessary equipment, the operation theatre is just adjacent to this room for any complications. At the same time, I will stay here until the delivery." The female doctor from the United States informed them and left them to talk privately.
However, not everything could be kept private. Since Magnus was not in power yet, he had no say in the old traditions, and they needed to be followed.
For starters, it is important to have at least one Royal Gynaecologist present during the delivery. This was to record various things, such as time, gender, health and other things.
Because some hours after, royal birth is traditionally announced via a bulletin placed on a golden easel in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace. It includes details as to the baby's gender, time of birth, as well as a status confirming the health of the mother and child. Not just this, gun salutes will also follow in many places after birth.
To be honest, Magnus was happy and proud, his sibling deserved nothing less than this. But he had already started to worry and plan, so his sibling doesn't turn out like some good for nothing spoiled brat, like Prince Andrews that he had met a long time ago.

Magnus turned to his mother, changed into a hospital gown and resting on the bed. "Mum, if you want to eat anything, just tell us. Ragnar can probably put any flavour you want in the porridge."
Ragnar nodded, "He's right, mum. If you want chicken, or some other dish, just tell me. I can make the porridge taste like that without making it unhealthy."
She ruffled his hair, "You... always thinking about chicken. My one son is mad about pancakes and one about chicken. I wonder what the new entry will be crazy for."
They all laughed and made Grace feel warm in there. The hospital was not much full, only a few people who knew about its good service were here. Other than this, the medical college was already up and running with its students until 3rd year currently going through the curriculum. It will take a few more years for all classes to fill up all the way till the 6th year.
Other than this, the staff was already hired, from doctors to nurses, from helpers to cleaners. There were 3 helipads and emergency helicopters available as well. There were also electric buses and trams with futuristic designs.
Surely, the various news channels are going to have a lot of content to film for many days here. But at the moment, various decorations were being put around the whole campus. They will remain there until the new Year.
Additionally, at all the entrances into the campus, huge welcoming pillars and hoardings were being placed with the name of the hospital complex. Meanwhile, each building will have a different name.
But, right now, Magnus was feeling heartache, because he was bleeding money like a leaking drain. He could afford it but his little capitalist heart felt bad.
"Magnus, Ragnar and Adam, you three go home. You all must have work." Grace said as it was turning night.
"NO!" Magnus and Ragnar climbed over the bed and laid beside her, one on the left and one on the right and hugged her.
Grace felt warm in her heart. "Okay okay, don't give me diabetes with this much sweetness my cuties."
Adam scratched his beard, "Where do I go now? Ragnar, move your ass, let me get in the blanket."
And hence, Adam also jumped in. Thankfully, it was a luxuriant room with a big bed, there were only a few of them as they were reserved only for the royal family.
That night, they all cuddled themselves to sleep. Grace was happy beyond anything. She became confident now that her worries of growing distant from her two sons while taking care of the new baby would never happen. Because Magnus and Ragnar would never go away from her.
"MEOW!"
However, only Chad was left, seeing nobody giving him attention, Chad decided to jump over anyway. He went ahead and made himself comfy on his favourite bed, the bed he missed a lot in the past half-year.
It was none other than Ragnar's face. Chad didn't care if he suffocated the poor boy, his sleep was important.

...
The morning sun shined in the room through the uncurtained window. Adam had already woken up, he had decided to stay with Grace for the coming week. While Ragnar and Magnus were supposed to go back home.
However, neither of them had woken up and Grace was afraid of moving. She was like a human watching a cute kitten sleeping on her lap.
But then Magnus' phone rang and he woke up. He had seriously started to question if making this thing was the right decision. The ability to call anyone at any time was a pain in the back sometimes.
"Hello?" Magnus sleepily picked up the call.
"You're back? And why the heck didn't you tell me about the battle? Adrian just told me." It was Bobby.
"Well, it was a wizard only event, Bobby," Magnus replied.
"But, I wanted to test a few of my new weapons on live targets." Bobby turned out to be dissatisfied for an entirely different reason.
Magnus chuckled, "Don't worry, there will be many more in the future. Where are you?"
"On a flight, I'm returning to London. I don't even go to college these days. See you in the evening, hehe, I'm bringing an awesome gun with me."
Soon Magnus hung up and got up from the bed. He slapped Ragnar's back and woke him up too. "WAAAA..."
Ragnar stood up with a scream and shaky breath, "FUC... I had a weird dream, man. I... I fell into a sea full of cotton fur. I couldn't get out and sank down, slowly losing my breath as the fur got into my nose, ears and mouth."
Magnus turned to look at Chad, the cat was turning, stealing gazes from the corner of his eyes. It was clear who was the culprit. Magnus patted Ragnar, "Easy easy, as long as you don't wet yourself, it's fine."
"Pfft..." Grace held her laughter due to their bickering.
Ragnar smiled, at least Grace felt happy. He yawned and got up. "I'm gonna go to Diagon Alley to buy some items. What about you, Mag?"
Magnus had no idea, "I will go home and read a few books. Bobby will be coming in the evening."
"Cool, I will be back by then."
After making plans and saying goodbye, both brothers left the hospital. Magnus returned home and read the books until the evening when Bobby was supposed to come.
*DING DONG*
The doorbell rang. The doorbell was actually the last step for someone to enter his house. First, they have to pass through the security gate at the compound wall.
"Hehe... Bobby must be here." Magnus excitedly went ahead and opened the door.
However, only disappointment got him, "Who are you two?"
In front of Magnus stood two people, one was a man, probably in his early 30s, and then a young man, most likely in his early 20s or probably 20. Both of them wore formal black suits, glasses, hats and held umbrellas in their hands.
The older man took out his card and handed it over. He lifted his hat a little and bowed to greet him, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty. I am Chester King, codenamed Arthur, from Kingsman. This here is my new recruit, Harry Hart, codenamed Galahad. We have come over to greet you after knowing what happened at the shop."
He used "His Majesty" instead of "His Highness" because Kingsman knew Magnus was the true king.
"Hmm, using Arthur and the knights of the round table's names?" Magnus was not happy with this. He stared at the faces of the two intently for a few seconds.
Harry Hart, or say Galahad, was young and impatient. He spoke up, "May we enter?"
Magnus nodded, "Sure, come on in, but just a second, my friend is also coming. You two go inside."
Just as the two entered, Ragnar and Bobby came, they probably met somewhere on the way. Bobby had a suitcase in his hand.
*PAT*
They shared a hug and Magnus asked, "So, what's with this new gun?"
Bobby excitedly opened the case and took out a pistol-like gun. But it had a very chunky part attached to its front. He explained it, "Hehe, this is specially made for a few spies of your company. It has a fingerprint scanner, only the one scanned into it can use the gun. And the other best part, it makes absolutely no noise. I can fire it near your face and you won't know it unless you see me moving due to recoil. But having the right kind of bullet is important for this."
Magnus picked up the pistol, "What if someone else tried to fire it?"
"It will explode. Of course, only if someone vigorously tries to fire it. If it's used on a mistake like one or two times, it won't. Here, you scan your print on it." Bobby helped him.
Magnus did as asked and held the pistol carefully. "Come in, I've got two guests in there."
He slowly walked into the living room, where the Kingsman agent sat together.
*BANG BANG BANG BANG!*
All of a sudden, Magnus fired four bullets, and of course, they were silent. The target was one man.
*THUD*
"WHAT THE FU*K, MAG!" Bobby exclaimed.
"NICE SHOT!" Ragnar gave a thumbs up, knowing there must be a reason.
Harry Hart, aka Galahad, quickly tried to check his mentor's pulse, he was dead, "WHAT THE...! YOU KILLED HIM!" He quickly tried to take out his own gun.
Magnus waved his wand and disarmed him. "Of course he's dead, that's what I wanted, good riddance. And do you know where you are standing? YOU WANT TO AIM A GUN AT ME?"
