His tired body was covered in blood and injuries, yet he stood tall on the corpses of those who wanted to take his life. Magnus was still up and fighting, now even Fenrir had tried to fight him personally since his way out was blocked.
"Why did you even bite so many people? Can't you also live like normal beings?" Magnus asked him while fighting. His body was tired to the point that he didn't even feel tired anymore. It was as if his body was on auto-pilot and just swinging the sword according to his instincts. Meanwhile, his brain focused on using magic to create fire and other distractions.
However, the problem was that he felt the werewolves were also slowly adapting and learning to fight him. The previous incendio and Lumos charm that he used to distract them didn't work anymore.
Fenrir responded, "Hehe... why should I live normally? It is my life's aim to bite as many people as possible. I am going to create a werewolf army to defeat the wizard and take over the world."
Magnus was disgusted, "So this is why you bite the children? You are no better than Voldemort then. But, sad for you, your ambitions won't last too long."
"We'll see. Sure, you are the strongest foe I have faced until now, but certainly not the one to be able to kill me. ALL OF YOU! GO AT ONCE!" he ordered the remaining werewolves. About 300 were left anyway.
Magnus in turn threw sticky potion on the ground around him, making the werewolves get stuck there and those behind them couldn't find a way to move forward.
~I should at least save a few of them.~ he muttered. He was afraid that this werewolf army might just be the full extent of the werewolf population in the United Kingdom.
To save time, he then used Knee-reversal hex on as many werewolves as he could. What this did was disorient them as they couldn't understand why they couldn't walk forward.
Magnus found his chance and jumped, stepping over the heads of the werewolves one after another as he got closer to Fenrir with each second. The mad werewolf was already at the edge where the blue fire was, so he had nowhere to run to.
Magnus hated him and would not stop unless he had killed him. Why? Because Fenrir was one step beyond what could be called evil or mad. Because Fenrir didn't even care if it was a full moon or not and he was in werewolf form or not. Even in his human form he bit people and ate human flesh.

His eyes were focused, as they flashed with the moonlight. There was blood on his face, but nothing hurt anymore. The fire in his heart for stabbing his sword in Fenrir was too strong.
"You can't run anywhere today, scum." he lept towards him with his sword ready to cut him in half.
Fenrir faced him with a scared face. Falling to the ground and looking left and right. He acted like this until he smiled all of a sudden and jumped to the side. But, too bad for him, it was a dumb decision. His thinking was that he would let Magnus fall onto the blue fire. Not knowing that these flames were special.
Protego Diabolica was a spell that allowed the user to create a protective ring of blue fire around them that completely incinerated enemies of the caster who came into contact with it while leaving their allies unharmed.
Magnus had made it so that only Fenrir would get affected by the fire but not the rest of the werewolves.
Without stopping, Magnus pushed his feet and changed his direction on the ground, immediately jumping towards Fenrir.
"F*CKING BASTARD." Fenrir ragefully tried to strike him with his big claws.
*CLANK*
Magnus blocked them with the sword and punched with his other hand on Fenrir's chest. The mad werewolf didn't think his punch would be powerful, he was wrong. Magnus was no ordinary human. His punch was very powerful and it was precisely hit on Fenrir's chest, just above the heart.
"ARGH...!" He groaned in pain and fell back.
Taking precautions, Magnus used the remainder of his magical power to surround himself and Fenrir with fire so that other werewolves don't come and try to stop him.
He walked to Fenrir with a plain face, "Say goodbye to the world of the living, scum."
Fenrir fell to the ground. For once he truly felt fear that he was going to die now. "WAIT... I CAN SWEAR ALLEGIANCE TO YOU!"
"I don't need monsters like you working for me." Magnus had no mercy for him.
*BAM*
Magnus stepped on his chest, pressing him on the ground and aiming his sword at his chest. Fenrir felt pure horror as he looked at his merciless bloody eyes.
The raging fire around them was creating a sense of doom in his heart, and he was not very wrong about that. Despite bringing in more than 1200 werewolves, he was losing miserably. The most prized ability of a werewolf was enhanced physical strength, magical resistance and rage. He lost in all these areas.
Fenrir, with primal raging red eyes, growled his last words, "IT'S YOU..."
"What?" Magnus questioned.
"YOU ARE THE MONSTER, NOT ME! The world may see you as a hero because they are blinded by your last name. A little boy, killing hundreds of werewolves... they will fear you once they don't have Voldemort to fear. They will hate you when you force your will on them. Humans are the true scums. My desire to conquer is the result of the hate and the pain you all inflicted on me.

"MARK MY WORDS, THE ONE'S WHO WORSHIP YOU TODAY, WILL WANT TO KILL YOU TOMORROW. You humans... you only know how to act like you have changed, but you never actually change..."
Magnus coldly faced him, "Huh, everyone has a sad story to tell, but it doesn't allow one to murder people. Just wait and watch from hell how I prove you wrong."
Fenrir snorted with a laugh, "Haha... boy, there is no god, hell or heaven."
"Hahaha..." Magnus laughed since he had personally seen Hell. "Wrong, I can confirm that Hell exists, and that masked man is going to have a lot of fun with you.
"May your soul rot in hell and never rest in peace."
*STAB*
He slid his sword into Fenrir's chest as slowly as possible to give him more pain. Soon it pierced through his upper lungs and the windpipe, immediately suffocating him with blood pouring out of his mouth as well as the wound. He was gagging and choking on his own blood. With that, one of the worst monsters in the world was dead. Justice was finally served to those who lost their lives to Fenrir's selfish wishes.
Fenrir didn't shout, just groaned and silently lost his life. His eyes widened and mouth stayed open, there was no escape, he had understood already. The last thing he saw was Magnus' face.
"AAAA..." Magnus took his sword out and once again stabbed him, much harder this time, completely taking away his life. Blood pumped out from his various ruptured arteries. [Image]
With Fenrir's demise, the remaining Werewolves were free to decide what they wanted. So he silently stopped the fire from one portion of the circle to allow them to escape. Out of the remaining 300, 280 escaped, those who stayed got burned by Magnus' fire.
*THUD*
He didn't have much strength left in his body, so he fell to his knees, still holding the sword for support as it remained stuck in Fenrir's chest. He gasped for long breaths to rid the headache he was having due to the loss of too much blood and lack of oxygen. [Image]
His tired eyes were fixated on Fenrir's body and the blood. His own wounds ridden body finally calmed down, but that brought in the pain and tiredness that he had avoided all this time due to adrenaline.
He felt light, but also heavy at the same time. Never before had he exerted so much strength. Never had he fought for 5 hours straight.
*POP*
"MAGNUS!" Dumbledore arrived all of a sudden via apparition. Who knows how he found his exact location.
But even for the old man, the scene was too horrifying. The moon shone over the mountain of corpses with dead red shining eyes, as Magnus sat there, kneeling. The only thing telling him that Magnus was alive was his shining eyes.
He noticed the burnt area of the jungle and could imagine the kind of intense fight it must have been. He tried to call his name, "Magnus..."
Magnus' sullen face, tiredness washed over his eyes, turned to glance at the old Dumbledore. He wanted to say something, so Dumbledore kept his ears open.
"I've been trying hard not to turn into the monster they want me to be, old man... but... It's getting really hard now," He breathed, surrounded by dead, headless, limbless, bisected bodies of werewolves, the meaning behind these words was impactful.
He took a long loud breath again as if having trouble breathing. He had lost too much energy and blood today. And to be honest, it hurt like hell. Werewolf claws were too infectious and painful. He slowly tried to stand up with the help of his sword.
"EASY THERE..."
Dumbledore ran to him, stepping over the mountain of corpses and the large puddle of blood. The old man's heart ached and his mind felt numb. He couldn't begin to imagine what it must have taken to do all this.
Magnus let the old man help him get up as he didn't have much strength left. Standing up, he looked at the calm sky, it was still dark, but the grim-looking full moon still lightened the jungle, as if telling him "I saw everything".
Dumbledore today fully understood that being Merlin's descendant was not a blessing... It was a curse. It broke him further seeing what Magnus did next. Dumbledore didn't say anything, he couldn't, as he felt a lump in his throat.
Magnus spoke before slowly starting to crookedly walk out of the jungle in a trans-like state. "It's been a really long night, hasn't it? Happy Halloween I guess. *Breaths* I... just... want to... sleep now."

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.

Hope
There were 2 options: Fight the same war for countless more aeons. Shatter the Betrayer's undead legions time and time again until all was ground to dust. Because the endless legions truly never end. A hair's breath of ground in a century is enough if the war takes all of eternity. Or to choose Hope. To cast away his memories, his power, his very life. To wager everything on a chance to prevent their eventual end or to perish trying. Because if he were to return it would be with the power necessary to finally slay what remains of the Betrayer. Of the last Aspect. Only then would all things be right. And so, he chose the latter. Expect:Weak to strong quick-ish.Powerful MC reincarnates, gradually starts regaining memories.MC that is an actual character not a plot device. My original unique magic system discovered along with the MC.My original setting with mythos that have both been living rent free in my head for actual years.Opening arc will be less fast than the following story. Good writing (I think) and grammar. Upload schedulle: 2 chapters a week of 3-4k words each. I want to upscale to 3 in the future. Meant to be read in RR dark mode. For those coming here from my other stories, this is indeed a reimagining of my older story, CotM. I say reimagining because I have changed so much it cannot be called just a rewrite. Among the major changes, MC is fundamentally different in personality and background, I have actually planned the story out and changed it almost completely and I have adjusted my mythos so it no longer has as many holes as swiss cheese.

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero
No, my name’s not Doug. I lied. Waking up in this hospital bed and right away I’m being questioned. They say I’m a hero, saved some girl. I don’t remember any of that. Like the stories you read, a stranger in a strange world where magic and fantasy races exist, but technology hasn’t advanced. It was all just a slice of life as I learned and grew in this world. Was… Author’s notes. Original work. First draft. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6
