The Next Day,

Hogwarts, Magnus' office,

Magnus read the report Adrain had prepared with a heavy heart and frowned brows. His fist was held tight and his anger was barely in control.

"So you found skeletons under his basement. More than a hundred, all belonging to kids. Mostly girls. And all were Muggles'? Are you absolutely sure about this finding?" Magnus asked Adrian once again.

This Oscar turned out to be much worse than Magnus had expected. At most, he thought maybe Oscar would be a Death Eater. But this was even worse, he was a serial murderer and most probably a paedophile.

"Yes, Mr Grant. I was shocked too. I saw him as a clown but never had expected him to be such a person. I used my magical skills to gather as much information from those skeletons as I could." Adrian replied. He felt his throat dry and took a glass of water. This kind of investigation was not something he does every day.

However, suddenly something clicked in Magnus' mind.

"Oh no no no... ADRIAN. GET UP. WE NEED TO GO. There might be a reason why there were only skeletons. And not rotting bodies." Magnus blurted.

Adrian's eyes widened, "He might still be keeping the kids hidden. Merlin's beard. But... He's a Ministry Employee."

"And I am a Member of Wizengamot. I hold a lot of power, Adrian. And this is not the time to worry about such details." Magnus said.

He hurriedly went to the wall behind his chair and tapped on it with his wand a few times. Quickly, many bricks made way and showed a hidden chamber.

Magnus took out a lot of vials of Potions and put them in his robes. Then he took 5 wands.

"Let's go to Professor Dumbledore. I can't explain my appearance outside school otherwise." Magnus rushed out.

~So we were in Hogwarts.~ Adrian realised.

Magnus guessed twenty words for the password to the gargoyle statues and entered the office.

"Professor. Follow me, right now. If you don't, then don't complain why there was a school student outside the school." He rushed the old man.

Dumbledore had no idea what was happening and why this Thomas was here with Magnus.

"Where?" Dumbledore asked as he got up.

"To the Ministry. Did you read the newspaper? I ordered an investigation on its author. We found about a hundred skeletons of children from under his basement, mostly females, and all were muggles. There could be children still alive somewhere. We need to get him to speak." Magnus said at speed.

Dumbledore didn't ask him anything more and simply waved his wand to close his office. "Fawkes, you stay here."

"Let's go," Dumbledore was ready to apparate.

Adrian was now completely different looking than before so he was not worried about going to the ministry. He even had a new wand now so there was no way for anyone to know who he was.

Before leaving Hogwarts, Magnus called George, "Go to Rita Skeeter and order her to be present at the ministry."

George vanished quickly. Magnus noticed being stared at by Dumbledore and Adrian, "What? You know the Ministry is shameless and they will try to hush up the matter. They've been doing it for years. But, this time I won't let this happen. How dare they let such a person stay in the position of power."

Both didn't say anything in reply. Magnus grabbed Dumbledore's arm and they all apparated to the visitor hall of the Ministry.

It was, as always, very busy, with so many people coming in and out of that place.

As soon as they arrived there, all people noticed them and made way. Dumbledore and Magnus were both very famous now.

"Your Majesty..." Some muggle-born wizards would every once in a while greet Magnus. They were all too proud of him because he was not just a wizard and king, but their representative at the highest level.

They made strides and reached the Minister's office immediately. There, Eugenia sat by her desk, working.

Seeing someone enter without even a knock, she frowned, but before she could shout at this person, she heard them speak.

"WHERE IS OSCAR?" Magnus asked her with a raised voice.

Eugenia had the wrong idea, "What are you doing? Do you think this is your playground?"

Magnus did not reply and just punched at her wooden table, leaving a fist mark on it, "Answer what I ask, or you will be remembered in history as the Minister who sinned."

"What are you talking about?" She inquired, looking at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore immediately gave a cutdown version of the whole story. Her face grew pale in horror. This was not a small matter.

"I-I will look into this matter, you don't have to interfere in the ministry's business an... *BAM*"

Magnus didn't let her complete her words and just took out his two swords, "I am a member of the Wizengamot, that gives me enough power, and if you still want to rant about your so-called ministry business then I am ready to fight for it. Decide quickly, those children might not have much time left, nor do you."

His cold voice and unwavering attitude had Eugenia taken aback. She was for the first time seeing the side of Magnus that probably stemmed from King Arthur's blood.

"He's in the temporary prison, awaiting investigation on what he did." She informed Magnus.

"Take us to him, we need him to tell us where he keeps children and if anyone else is involved in this crime." He ordered her.

Not having the guts to anger him more, she decided to take him along. Besides, Dumbledore seemed silent, meaning that he was supporting whatever Magnus was doing.

She led them outside and headed to the elevator. It was an underground prison made to hold prisoners before their trial. As they got inside the elevator, Magnus saw Moody.

He had not seen the old man in a while now. "Hello, one eye Moody."

Moody chuckled, only Magnus called him this, and to be honest, most didn't have the guts to call him names. "What's with this entourage?"

"Follow us, I think we will be in need of your skills at the prison to make someone spill out some important information," Magnus told him.

Moody glanced at Eugenia, she also nodded so he decided to stick. He was wondering what had brought all of them here and why Dumbledore looked so grim.

The elevator descended into the ground, deeper and deeper, also taking many turns here and there.

"We had no idea he was doing such a thing." Eugenia clarified.

"Huh," Adrian scoffed.

"Of course, when does the Ministry ever know about a crime before it's committed? Even when the criminal is sitting in the same building and committing the same crime again and again." Magnus snarled.

*TING*

The elevator stopped and the door opened, in front of them was a long hall, with crude stone-like walls. The corridor had wings, going left and right, with each wing having some guards making rounds. But, before the main entrance, there was a blockade of sealed metal rods.

"Take us to Oscar Thumbling," Eugenia ordered.

Without asking anything, the warden took his wand and led them inside. Oscar was not kept in a very bad cell, as he had not committed a heinous crime, to the knowledge of the Ministry. He was just there for misuse of power.

As soon as Oscar saw Magnus, he crawled towards his feet, "I'M SORRY, Sir. Please forgive me..."

*BAAM*

Magnus kicked his face before he could hold his legs. "WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN?"

Oscar immediately felt goosebumps on his body. He alternated between looking at Eugenia and Magnus.

"W-what are you tal..."

"STILL DARE TO LIE?" Adrian angrily went forward and punched his face.

"SPEAK!" Magnus insisted.

Moody meanwhile was confusedly looking at the scene. He noted that even the Minister was not protesting this manhandling. So, he asked Dumbledore in a low voice.

"What happened, Dumbledore?"

Dumbledore stood there with folded arms. He sighed and told him everything. "Very grave sin, Moody, a very grave sin... he's a..."

...

"I WILL BLOODY GAUGE HIS EYES OUT. You were one of us, you dared to BETRAY US?" The next thing they knew, Moody pushed everyone aside and started beating the hell out of Oscar.

*BAM*

"WHERE ARE THEY?"

*PUNCH*

"WHO'S WITH YOU?"

*KICK*

"SINCE WHEN?"

Moody asked him everything and every time Oscar chose silence, Moody chose violence.
