《Reincarnated As a Fox With System 》Chapter 404: Two Options for Tang Li Xue!

With Rong Jie's strength, she already sensed the battle between Tang Li Xue's team and Bing Shui's team from the very start, and she could stop them anytime she wants.
Actually, she wanted to stop them from fighting and scold them a lot earlier, but Instructor Mei Lan asked for Rong Jie's help to let her students playing around for a while against Bing Shui's team since Instructor Mei Lan wanted to let her students have more sense of urgency to become stronger.
Moreover, the structure of Bing Shui's team was almost identical to Tang Li Xue's team since both teams did not have any healer or tanker.
Bing Shui have almost identical divine abilities with Bing Yi, both of them held the semi-support role in their respective team, and their role was to harass their opponent by freezing them, they could even create the ice wall to defend their team from attack, or hurl ice javelin toward their opponent.
But obviously, Bing Shui could do her role as semi-support much better than Bing Yi. Not only she has much better control over her divine abilities than Bing Yi, but she was also an Inscriptionist on top of that!
While Hei Yinghao and the arrogant-looking guy with curling purple hair also held the same role as DPS (the person who responsible for dealing high amounts of damage to their enemies) in their respective team.
But again, the arrogant-looking guy with curling purple hair was clearly much better than Hei Yinghao in doing his role as DPS.
His purple lightning was not only terrifyingly powerful, but it also has high lethality and high defense penetration ability, and it could even paralyze anyone who got hit by it for a while.
Even Mogui with his high defense divine ability was defeated in one move by him!
Meanwhile, both Tang Li Xue and the smiling guy with black and white hair were holding the assassin role.
Their job was to weaken or take down any opponent who let down their guard with a sudden attack or stealth attack as fast as possible since Tang Li Xue has her [Ethereal Form] while the smiling guy with black and white hair could switch place with any of his sharpened fangs.
However, the smiling guy with black and white hair clearly could do his job better since he seems could wield a lot of his sharpened fangs at once, and he could switch places with any of them anytime anywhere he wants.
He could use his divine ability to easily dodge any attack, escaping from his enemies, harass his enemies from time to time, and even ambush his enemies anytime anywhere he wants it.
In short, Tang Li Xue's team was completely surpassed by Bing Shui's team in all aspects!

.
Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao sat under the nearby tree to rest while still patiently waiting for Instructor Mei Lan to finish her business in Mission Hall.
Tang Li Xue was currently patting Yaya's tiny head to calm her down since Yaya seems to still feel very angry and displeased with the smiling guy with black and white hair.
Little Loki was unmovingly slept on Tang Li Xue's right shoulder from the very start until now.
It was really a big mystery that it could still stay asleep and did not fall from Tang Li Xue's right shoulder when Tang Li Xue already somersaulted on mid-air and fought so fiercely against the smiling guy with black and white hair before.
Well… Actually, Little Loki knew what had already happened before, but all of it was nothing more than some groups of children playing around with each other in its eyes.
Little Loki knew very clearly that they would never dare to kill each other inside Myriad Foxes Academy anyway, so there was no need for him to help Tang Li Xue.
Moreover, Little Loki also could not just devour anyone here like what it has done outside Myriad Foxes Academy, and it did not want any elder or higher-up here to get some clues about its identity by doing that.
Currently, Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao sat while lowered their head until their forehead touched their knees as if their world was almost collapsed.
"Why are you guys look as if you lose all of your money like that? Cheer up! It is not like we lost to them yet. Even if we really lost to them, so what?! We only need to train harder and become stronger than them soon!" Tang Li Xue tried to cheer them up.
"Little Xue, it is easy for you to say that. You are still in the demonic beast rank, so you do not need to worry so much even if you lost a bit from your opponent since your opponent is already at Beast Lord Rank. But we already reach Beast Lord Rank, and we still lost against them… This is really so embarrassing!" Hei Yinghao replied with a frustrating tone.
Bing Yi did not say anything, but she sobbed and nodded to agree with Hei Yinghao's statement.
Tang Li Xue rolled her eyes and retorted: "You two evolved into Beast Lord Rank just recently, and it was also because of my help while they already evolved into Beast Lord Rank for so long. It all makes sense that you need to put a lot more effort than them if you really want to catch up with them."
Hei Yinghao and Bing Yi felt embarrassed when they heard Tang Li Xue's reasonable words.

"Oh, right… Little Xue, why did you face so much difficulty when you faced the guy with black and white hair? Can you just activated your divine ability and turned invisible, then hit him from behind just like what you usually did?" Bing Yi curiously asked.
Tang Li Xue grimaced as she replied full of grievance: "I want to do it too, but I can't!"
Hei Yinghao and Bing Yi gasped in shock, then asked: "Eh? What? You cannot use your stealth-type divine ability? But… why?"
"I don't know too. But my… instinct told me that my situation would get worsened if I used my stealth-type divine ability." Tang Li Xue replied in confusion.
It was Tang Li Xue's [Extrasensory Perception] that sense something was not right with the attack from the guy with black and white hair and if she used her [Ethereal Form], then his attack would only strike her harder than usual.
"I am really surprised. You can even sense something like that now… Looks like it is not just your intelligence that has grown." Instructor Mei Lan chuckled as she approached Tang Li Xue and the others.
"Instructor Lan!" Tang Li Xue, Hei Yinghao, and Bing Yi greeted Instructor Mei Lan in unison.
"That purple-haired boy may be the strongest amongst those three, but the black-and-white-haired boy is undisputedly the most dangerous one amongst them because of his divine ability, so you should be really careful and never let your guard down the next time you face him." Instructor Mei Lan warned her three students with a stern tone.
"His divine ability is that dangerous? So his divine ability is not only about switching places with his fangs, right?" Tang Li Xue skeptically asked.
Instructor Mei Lan giggled and said: "Any teacher is prohibited from leaking any information about any student, but I can give you a clue that you may not realize when you are facing him before. Can you feel that his attack became a lot stronger every time he switches place with his fang?"
Tang Li Xue widened her eyes in shock as her brain was catching some inspiration from Instructor Mei Lan's clue, and he unconsciously blurted out: "That is right! His attack became more and more powerful every time he switched places with his fang in battle! Switch place... while increasing the power of his attack... Don't tell me his attack is imbued with Space elemental?! That was the reason why my [Ethereal Form] will not work against it?!"
"Not bad… you are quite capable now. All right, I know that you all already tired and want to go back to sleep. I will distribute your reward according to your contribution now." Instructor Mei Lan declared to Tang Li Xue and the others.
Tang Li Xue got 300,000 credits as her reward since she was the most meritorious among them.
While Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao only got 100,000 credits each.
Instructor Mei Lan also announced that the three of them must attend her special hellish level training from very early tomorrow until the time for Fox Hunting Festival was being held later.
Just when Tang Li Xue and the others turned around to head back toward Residential Building, Instructor Mei Lan suddenly called Tang Li Xue: "Little Xue!"
"Eh? Instructor Lan? Do you need something from me?" Tang Li Xue asked in confusion.
"For you, I will give two options for you to choose. You can join in my special training like the others or secretly enter the human's Inheritance Ground Tablet. Which one do you choose?" Instructor Mei Lan stated to Tang Li Xue with a solemn expression.
"Inheritance Ground Tablet?!" Tang Li Xue, Bing Yi, and Hei Yinghao exclaimed in surprise.
Instructor Mei Lan already mentioned it briefly when they carried their mission in the Imperial Palace of Feng Empire before, but all of them thought that only humans could enter that place.
"Instructor Lan, we can really enter that place?" Hei Yinghao asked with sparkling eyes filled with excitement.
He really liked adventuring to unknown places since before he joined Myriad Foxes Academy, and he still liked it even now.
"The other beasts surely cannot! But I am sure that Little Xue can!" Instructor Mei Lan stated again with confidence.
"Why?! Is that place really that dangerous? Then Little Xue is better not going there." Bing Yi asked in worry.
"Instructor Lan, in your opinion is it better for me to go there or stay here and training diligently with the others?" Tang Li Xue curiously asked for Instructor Mei Lan's opinion.
Instructor Mei Lan giggled at their expression and replied to Tang Li Xue's question in a relaxed manner: "In my opinion, you should go to Inheritance Ground Tablet if you want to become stronger in the shortest time possible before Fox Hunting Festival."
"The reason for that is simple. Both Bingbing and Silly Fox just evolved into Beast Lord Rank, and they need to train hard to control their new divine ability more perfectly, but you are different from them. The one you need the most right now is not the control over your divine abilities but the battle experience. A lot of battle experience against all kinds of opponents in many different kinds of situations to broaden your knowledge and horizon." Instructor Mei Lan patiently explained to Tang Li Xue.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
